New Tie Rod from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1ASTE00234
This video shows you how to install an inner tie rod on your 1996-2002 Toyota 4Runner. The inner tie rod has a ball joint that can wear over time, causing a clunking noise, loose steering, and eventually, other problems with the wheel and suspension components. It’s a good idea to replace your inner tie rods as soon as you notice any of these symptoms.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
1996 Toyota 4Runner
1997 Toyota 4Runner
1998 Toyota 4Runner
1999 Toyota 4Runner
2000 Toyota 4Runner
2001 Toyota 4Runner
2002 Toyota 4Runner

Awesome Video! Extremely helpful, I’ve watched a bunch of other video on this and none of them this high quality resolution nor that closed up to the parts, thank you!
Don't forget to use Red Loctite on all of your threads.
I watched this because the LEFT side is the hard one. How do you get the pipe wrench on to the tie rod?
