Mystery Ranch Hot Top - Wildland Fire Pack

A close up look at the wildland fire pack I have used the last couple of seasons. A very sturdy pack, very comfortable, as much as a pack can be working 16 hour shift, hiking up and down dozer lines.

Great review. Looks like a really solid pack. I find it very money hungry of mystery ranch to not include such and necessary part of wild land fire fighting, that is the fire shelter holder.

I like how some of Mystery Ranches packs don't look "tactical". I've never owned one of their packs, but from what I've heard they're tough.

honestly though, if you were to go buy a shelter, it comes in a case you can just put on your pack, which is what most do.

Excellent review beast thanks for sharing your thoughts, expertise and your service in the Forestry Service as well. Tell all your crew thanks also as I am sure they don't get to hear thanks to often from the sheeple.
I have added this pack to my wish list for a day/weekender pack it appears to fit the bill nicely.
