In the bolivia special, Jeremy left you two alone with the brocken Landcruiser and survived the deadliest road in the world. You and May had to Drive there at night, so how did you survive it? They didn't really show that in the special.
These three men have travelled the length and breadth of the world. Just stating a fact here. I think they have shown us more of the world more than any other tv show.
Hamster I am so proud of you for keeping Oliver. I remember you during that adventure saying you were going to keep him but I just thought 'they always say that those telly stars....' But then I saw your lockdown tour of the yard and there he was in all his glory. First time I'd seen him since the adventure hit our screens. Nice one mate......

I remember the Bolivia one. "There's something in here. Its SQUEAKING at me!" I don't know why but Richard reminded me of Richie from Bottom when he was waving his arms around shouting "I can't stand that. I've gotta get out!" LOL
I think it's because he's a bit more humble. The other two tell interesting stories but always have to make a joke or be a bit mean to someone else while telling it. That is funny a lot of the time, but does mean that Hammond's stories are more relatable.
Amnesia is strange. Obviously what you don't remember at all is just gone and you can't miss it. But most of it is not as simple as totally lost or there, which is 'entertaining'. The brain tries to claim what it can, so if you have parts of a memory it will try to fill in the gaps. You also end up with memories where you are actually remembering what others have told you which doesn't always agree and gets confusing when your brain has tried patching you into it. The most bizarre part I have noticed is that your brain puts you in the constructed memory at the age you are then. So you can play back a partially constructed childhood memory where you become an adult for a section, which is your only clue. This is personal experience, others will have encountered different symptoms that either I didn't or didn't realise until it was pointed out.

That was a really great episode it became quite emotional at the end with Jeremy shedding a few tears at how well they'd managed to do considering the problems they'd had if I remember correctly.
I wish more of the drive tribe episodes were like this. Also, I'm going through withdrawals because it's been so long since I've seen a new episode of the grand tour.

the best top gear bit that was edited out was richard and james driving upto the north of scotland in the porche and when you both kept turning on each others heated seats to full blast when yous were not looking, thats a hilarous video

Richard Hammond is a great TV presenter and he has done A LOT of shows, I watched a lot of the kids science stuff when I was younger, total wipeout, top gear and his engineering stuff. I've got respect for that.

One of my favorite is when they dropped you on a mountain in Canada and Jeremy and captain slow got in there pickups and had to find you.

I love TG/GT. I love any behind the scene stories. My favorite TG episode was the 24 hr endurance with the diesel BMW.
