Glad you could take part in this video man, and greatly appreciate you taking the time to join in on this! Always awesome getting to collab with my “GameCube bro”! Can’t wait to see what games you pick when we do a 3rd entry in this series sometime next year 😂!
Oh retrowolf! The fact that Shamu had an adventure saddens me 😂 Love the collab between you guys!! Great work! Can’t wait for another one(dj Khalid voice) between u guys!
It's honestly the first time i've seen someone has created a channel dedicated to Gamecube, it's honestly one of the consoles which i haven't played that much cause back then PS2 and XBOX were all the rage and, plus, there were not many games available for it in my dump so, yeah i didn't have much of it's glory, nowadays i've managed to get a Wii and love playing Gamecube on it despite that i can easily run them via Dolphin with an smoother resolution, however sometimes i do that but, most of the time i just do it with my Wii i don't know why, i guess i love the Gamecube Controller itself rather than playing with a modern gamepad
Glad you came across the channel! I've always been a massive fan of the GameCube, and wanted to make a channel that did the console and its library justice. Definitely feel free to check out the various other videos on the channel, as you may come across more to check out on the Wii (or Dolphin)! Thanks for checking out the video man!
Rocket Power: Beach Bandits is honestly a really fun and engaging game based on the classic Nicktoon! That Rally game does look pretty mediocre though, especially since it was published by Conspiracy Entertainment, who were responsible for publishing a lot of the infamous Wii shovelware developed by Data Design Interactive such as Ninjabread Man and Anibus II.
Agreed about Rocket Power! That was one from my childhood that surprised me far more than I expected. Nothing amazing, but shockingly good! Yeah, Rally Challenge is not very good at all, and like you said, Conspiracy Entertainment were responsible for some real Wii clunkers lol. Thanks for checking out the video!
Black & Bruised reminds me of Punch Out! Off-topic: But there's a new Switch game called Thunder Ray which plays like Punch-Out if you're interested. Also that Mystic Heroes game looks like Dynasty Warriors for kids. I remember playing that Rocket Power game. Skateboard the most. The cheat codes aren't even codes, but rather a quiz. Doesn't matter if you get one wrong as you don't get punished and can basically retry on the same question until you get it all done. This game was also part of this thing called "Nick Prize Points" which you can register this along with the Jimmy Neutron Movie game, SpongeBob Revenge of the Flying Dutchman and Rugrats Royal Ransom along with a few PC and GBA games (At the time) to earn points to get stuff like a SpongeBob CD, Jimmy Neutron disc holder and other rewards. Also I hope you do a Nick episode. Some games (Especially SpongeBob BFBB, The SpongeBob Movie, Lights Camera Pants and Creature From the Krusty Krab) might surprise you.
I can see Black & Bruised giving those Punch-Out!! vibes. I was thinking it actually looked more like Ready 2 Rumble Boxing haha. Good to know about Thunder Ray! I’ll need to look into that. Mystic Heroes does give off that aesthetic, but I have to say I was quite surprised how much I enjoyed it so far. I do need to check out some of the other Nickelodeon games, as Rocket Power Beach Bandits was the only one I’d played before on the GameCube. I definitely need to do a Nickelodeon themed episode one day soon…it’s much requested, and long overdue! Thanks for checking out the video man!
A lot of these being multi-platform is probably a big reason they don't get discussed much in Gamecube circles. They aren't so much a part of the system's identity like Eternal Darkness or Mario or even Geist. Not that it's not worth exploring... but when you can get Black and Bruised for under $10 on PS2 vs $50 on Gamecube...
That's fair, although I feel like many of these we never discussed as much within the 6th-gen as a whole, but more so on the GameCube side. That being said, I think a follow up episode of GC Exclusives that aren't discussed much would be another great aspect to show! Thanks for checking out the video!
My balls are saggedy, haha I remember that line from Outlaw Golf. Totally forgot about Black and Bruised, that video gave me some memories of playing it. I also remember Mystic Heroes and my friend absolutely hating that game 🤣 Great video.
Lol! Outlaw Golf is such a fun time, and its humor is on-point. Black & Bruised is one I need to try myself, but RetroWolf keeps telling me it's such a hidden gem (as he highlighted here lol). I can see Mystic Heroes being a very niche game lol. Thanks for checking out the video man, and glad you enjoyed it!
Great choice! I was really enjoying my time with it, and wish they’d look into revisiting the 3D gameplay aspect again. Thanks for checking out the video man!
Yeah, I haven’t heard many good things about it lol. I will say, I personally find that if a game has good music, it helps push me through it. Thanks for checking out the video!
It's rare that I've never heard of a game, but I've never heard of Mystic Heroes. It looks decent... I like the cover art for it. Well well well... you are 2/2 as I've never heard of Slot Car Thunder.... or slot cars in general?? OH MY GOD OUTLAW GOLF?! I THOUGHT THIS WAS A FAMILY CHANNEL!!! A great video put together by two great creators. One of my favorite videos that you've posted in awhile. Always fun to learn of new games and I did with this. Thanks!
Glad I could highlight both Mystic Heroes and Grooverider! Mystic Heroes does have a very appealing box art, and it is a decent game for sure. Grooverider Slot Car Thunder is an interesting game that is more entertaining that I expected. LMAO about Outlaw Golf! Thanks for checking out the video, TC! Glad you enjoyed it!!
Mystic Heroes is NOT playable from start to finish in 4-player split-screen mode. It has about 5 or 6 smaller, simpler stages that you can player 4-player. It doesn't even let you play 2-player through the main story.
I've actually spent a lot of time looking at GameCube games list and I've never seen or heard of Black and Bruised. How is it possible to still find new games this far in?
Oh nice! Glad you learned about one you never heard of! I think it's an awesome feeling when you discover a game on a library that you never knew existed. Thanks for checking out the video!
I have found that with all entertainment mediums it is much harder to find a hidden gem than a bad obscure thing. Most Obscure entertainment is obscure for a reason XD
Haha fair point! I feel like this is a fun way for us to discover if an obscure game is actually a hidden gem ultimate...or a reason they're not talked about lol. Thanks for checking out the video!
I had Black and Bruised back in the day on PS2. It was fun. There were a couple of other 3D Worms games around that time with Worms 4 and Worms Under Siege. Later on they combined Worms 3D and 4 into one game called Worms Ultimate Mayhem on the PS3 and 360.
Hey there! I just found your channel, so I don't know if you've already talked about these, but some of my favorite games growing up were Custom Robo, the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger Trilogy (the third one in particular is great), Monster Island, and Sonic Riders. I rarely see any of them get the attention or credit they deserve as they're all really charming games of high quality. I just felt like a shoutout here would be heard. Give them a shot if you haven't!
Hey man! Glad you came across the channel! I did indeed cover some of these in previous episodes! I'll leave links for them down below! The only series you mentioned I didn't cover yet are the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger games, but are ones I definitely plan to cover! Thanks again for checking out this video, and feel free to check out the ones I linked! Yeah, I need to see why the blacks are so crushed. I had to tweak the nighttime section in Rally Championship to being less harsh with the black tones. Thanks for checking out the video man, and glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you man! Glad you came across the channel, and hope you enjoy the various content! I always wanted to make a high-quality GameCube dedicated channel since I hadn't really seen anything of the sort before I started it. Thanks again for checking out the video, and for the support!
That’s fair! I know RetroWolf wasn’t a fan of what he tried, but I am looking forward to trying it out myself to see if I find something enjoyable from it! Thanks for checking out the video!
If I had to pick a realistic/arcade racing game no one talks about that starts out slow but gets fun the longer you play that could be a hidden gem and is a GameCube exclusive I would pick lotus challenge
Good pick! Funny enough, I ALMOST selected that for my list in this episode, but decided to save it for another episode at a later date. I definitely look forward to covering that one though! Thanks for checking out the video man!
@@GameCubeGalaxy I binge listen to your videos at work on GameCube games keep it up. Helps me get thru tough long work days knowing I have GameCube games at home that I could be playing instead but can't since you know work. Listening to people talk about games is close enough tho lol
The games I will try out in this video are outlaw golf, Mystic Heroes, grooverider slot car thunder, Black and Bruised that look like a really fun boxing game and rocket power Beach bandits those are really good pics for the video and those are games I would not mind trying out in the future.
I still play black and bruised, mystic heroes, rocket power Beach bandits on my android tablet still good games.. Carmen San Diego is cool also.. it's really not as bad as people make it out to be
Nice! Black and Bruised is one I need to check out for myself one day in the near future, and Carmen Sandiego I’ll need to try for myself as well. Rocket Power Beach Bandits is a really solid one that I enjoyed far more than I expected back in the day. Thanks for checking out the video!
Had no clue Mystic Heroes and Slot Car Thunder even existed so it's awesome to see them in action here and I gotta say, they both look like something I'd like to add to the collection at some point. I can totally relate to Retrowolf's take on Falsebound Kingdom because I felt the same exact way the Christmas night got it. What a disappointment of a game, was it so hard to make a console version of Eternal Duelist Soul or something? The Shamu game looks like the kinda crap I'd enjoy. It's hilarious how overlooked the Outlaw series of sports games were. Great list and team up guys!
Glad to see you learned about some games in this episode! Mystic Heroes is worth getting now, especially since it's still on the cheaper side. Grooverider is on the pricier side, but if you can get a good deal on it, I say go for it! Yeah, The Falsebound Kingdom looks nothing like what I expected either lol. The Shamu game looks bad, but I want to try it myself too haha. Outlaw Golf is hilarious, and now I'm very intrigued to try the others in the series! Glad you enjoyed the video man, and appreciate you checking it out!
I do have a emulator on my wii called Nintendont it is the name of a GameCube emulator for the Wii I downloaded a lot of games for the GameCube. Certain games I would not mind trying out the games that you got in this video the ones I mentioned.
Glad you guys talked about Black n Bruised. It was one of the first games I ever got when I was 7 and I think my parents threw it away cuz I lost it one day and never saw it again.
Thank you man, and glad you noticed the Burnout 3 menu theme used for the intro!! I always wonder if viewers pick up on the audio selections in my videos haha.
Yeah, RetroWolf clearly did not like this GameCube installment, and I'm still curious to try it out myself one day lol. Thanks for checking out the video!
Games like Grooverider being as expensive as they are makes it hard to want to collect for the GameCube. Your list is very much appreciated though; I like discovering games that I miss while looking through various game indices.
Yeah, Grooverider is a bit overly expensive, especially knowing it was a $19.99 budget release back then lol. Glad you enjoyed seeing the list of games covered man! Thanks for checking out the video!
@@GameCubeGalaxy Hey man, I enjoy all of your videos! I grew up with a PlayStation 2 for most of my childhood, but I always wanted a GameCube back then, especially after experiencing it at a friend's house. Now I get to play those games on my Wii U, and your videos are a good companion piece to the library. Maybe someday I'll pick up a GameCube if prices get lower; I always enjoyed how unique and colorful the GameCube controller is.
I have Worms 3D, but sadly it just didn't do it for me. I've been playing Worms since the original released, and this just wasn't Worms in my opinion. The biggest sin though, if you play it for a long time, it will crash due to memory misallocation.
Interesting info about the game crashing due to memory misallocation. I personally liked them trying to do a 3D take on the formula, but I completely respect the game's identity being associated in its 2D style. Thanks for checking out the video man!
Haha yes! I caught that earlier this morning after I posted the video and was like “damn, I meant Happy Gilmore.” 🤣 Thanks for watching the video man!!
This was an awesome video ! You & Matt absolutely killed with the humor lmao! If you know Matt, he would definitely be the one to advertise games not talked about because of them being so terrible haha! Loved this Collab and definitely titles on here I have not heard of until now . Always a joy and great work to you both of you brothas!
@@GameCubeGalaxy Heck Yeah! Not sure if this will be a celebration but definitely going in the right direction, FZero GX 99 releases on the switch today. Hopefully Nintendo can take this momentum and make a whole new title for the FZero series in the near future !
LMFAO at Outlaw Golf! This trailer park golf sim looked fantastic😂! It's a great video highlighting such random titles, but the golf one takes the crown with that dialogue.
Haha that game is a trip and a half! Easily our kind of humor man! Definitely recommend picking it up since it's still cheap too lol. Thanks for checking out the video!
Haha yeah, RetroWolf clearly wasn't a fan of the game, but I am intrigued to try it out, especially with cheats as you mentioned lol. Thanks for checking out the video!
Another great list of games that made me add 2 games to my wish list (Slot Cars and Black & Bruised)! The Outlaw series is a ton of fun, and you should try Tennis and Volleyball on other consoles, it's worth your time! Great video and keep up the good work!
Thank you, Dan! Awesome to hear you are interested in 2 more games mentioned here! Yeah, I really want to get the other Outlaw games now, as they look right up my alley lol. Glad you enjoyed the video man, and thanks again for checking it out!
Console shouldn't be based on how many sales or the amount of games that it made. It should be based on the amount of exclusives that were fun to play.
Great video, guys! I'd completely forgotten about that Rocket Power game, even though I enjoyed it back in the day. Worms 3D is a blast, except for the fact that you gotta play multiplayer with ONE controller (passing it back and forth with your greasy-handed friend) even if you have multiple ones.
Thank you man! Rocket Power Beach Bandits was such a fun game for me back in the day, and one I want to revisit one day. Glad to see someone else who liked Worms 3D, although that's interesting to hear about the multiplayer's single controller use (I sadly didn't get to try multiplayer on this yet). Glad you enjoyed the video!
Yeah. Falsebound Kingdom is in the category of games that are not talked about often for a reason. It's easily the worst Yu Gi Oh game that I know of. Which is unfortunate because a Yu Gi Oh RPG could have worked if the gameplay and story were improved significantly.
Yeah, it doesn't look very good from what RetroWolf showcased of it in this video lol. You'd think just a traditional card-based Yu-Gi-Oh game or traditional RPG would've worked very well. Thanks for checking out the video man!
It’s definitely a fun game that grew on me the more I played of it. Still a game on the cheaper side too (shockingly lol), so I’d say to definitely nab it if you can! Thanks for checking out the video man!
@@GameCubeGalaxy Awesome, I will check it out! I had an imported Japanese Gamecube 6+ months before it came out in the rest of the world, and had all manner of "fun" trying to get PAL games to work on a Japanese console - totally worth it though, the GCN was one of the best consoles ever - and Eternal Darkness was easily one of the best and unique gaming experiences I have ever had. So thanks for bringing back fond memories!
I actually have & played Yu Gi Oh The Falsebound Kingdom and yeah that game is trash even though I haven’t seen the Anime although it’s on my list. I honestly can’t believe how rare & expensive Rally Championship has gotten ever since it fell under Collectors Radar. Either way Great Episode as always GameCube Galaxy.
Yeah, that game doesn’t look very good. Another friend of mine had this game back in the day too, and would tell me how bad it was lol. Rally Championship being an expensive one is a shame, as it’s a very generic game that I can’t even say is worth playing. Glad you enjoyed the episode man!
I am generally a fan of your videos but this one was mostly not very entertaining. Normally I find your sincere and relatable demeanor and script to be genuine and comforting which is the reason why I subscribed to your channel. These types of "let's knock on the games" videos do not suit you well; and your guest just is not funny and comes across as mundane and generic, almost like an AI wrote his script. You definitely made it bearable with your selections though. And don't get me wrong, it is good to not like everything. There have been times where you give harsh critiques and it doesn't come across as fake or forced like they do here, and I really enjoy those episodes. Sorry if this was a bit rude or rough, just giving a viewer's perspective of someone that did not enjoy this particular video, why I didn't, and that I am not blanket hating on you guys or your other content which I generally enjoy watching (and is why I subscribed).
I'll be honest, I greatly appreciate hearing this feedback. To me, this is actually constructive criticism, and highlights what things viewers enjoy specifically about the videos on the channel, and what may or may not appeal as much. I did approach this episode slightly differently than others, and shows a bit. I am really glad to hear you're a fan of the channel, and what resonates with you especially with the content, so thank you again for sharing your honest thoughts here!
Always a little sad watching aging edgelords who don't realize there's a ton of offensive content being made these days, because their social media feed is filled with self-pity and paranoia.
It was an absolute honor to be a part of this EPIC collab!!
Glad you could take part in this video man, and greatly appreciate you taking the time to join in on this! Always awesome getting to collab with my “GameCube bro”! Can’t wait to see what games you pick when we do a 3rd entry in this series sometime next year 😂!

Thank you man, and glad you noticed the Burnout 3 menu theme used for the intro!! I always wonder if viewers pick up on the audio selections in my videos haha.
Another amazing and funny video!! Great work brother! And I love the retrowolf collab!! Keep the hits coming! Much love brother!!🤘🔥
Thank you man! Glad you really enjoyed it!!
Destroying Seaworld and turning it into Atlantis would be a good thing though🤣
Lol!! Thanks for checking out the video man!
As a massive fan of Carmen Sandiego, Treasures of Knowledge, the gamecube game was a massive disappointment
@@rustylasagna that’s awesome man! The Wii U is a fantastic way to still experience GameCube games via soft mod. 👍
Do you got any plans to do a Nickelodeon based GameCube video.
Definitely one I plan to do at some point!
That is quite an interesting selection of games y'all got there.
@@GameCubeGalaxy Happy to! Looking forward to more, I've been enjoying looking at some of the hidden gem vids!
I think you meant Happy Gilmore.
Haha yes! I caught that earlier this morning after I posted the video and was like “damn, I meant Happy Gilmore.” 🤣
Thanks for watching the video man!!
@@GameCubeGalaxy *raises bob barker (RIP) from his grave to help remind you.*
Thank you man! Glad you enjoyed the humor too, and really enjoyed the video! It's always awesome to collab with Matt as well!
Yugioh falsbounde kingdom makes with cheats 100% more fun 😂
Its one of my fav yugioh games with cheats.
Love it ❤❤❤
Haha yeah, RetroWolf clearly wasn't a fan of the game, but I am intrigued to try it out, especially with cheats as you mentioned lol. Thanks for checking out the video!
Awesome video! I enjoyed the guest 😂
Thank you man! Glad you enjoyed seeing RetroWolf's segments too!
Nice showcase of games guys!😊
Thank you, Mark! Glad you enjoyed it!
Mystic Heroes is so goated I love this game. I did receive a JPN only sequel, but that's probably way more obscure.
It's definitely a fun game! Ooo, I wasn't aware of the Japanese-exclusive sequel! I'll need to look into that. Thanks for checking out the video!
@@GameCubeGalaxy *turns out mystic heroes is the final game in a trilogy. It was a sequel to a PS2 jpn exclusive fengshen yanyi 2
EDIT
This was an awesome video GameCube Galaxy.
Thank you man!
Falsebound kingdom is solid game
Ngl Mystic Heroes looks suprisingly fun. I've never heard of it, but I'll definitely be checking it out!
It’s definitely a fun game that grew on me the more I played of it. Still a game on the cheaper side too (shockingly lol), so I’d say to definitely nab it if you can! Thanks for checking out the video man!
Please do a video on Eternal Darkness!!
Already have actually! Here’s my in-depth review for it!

Gotcha Force
You're welcome.
Blame Marcello! 😂
Lol! I never picked his games technically! Thanks for checking out the video man!
Outlaw Golf was wild
It absolutely was! Thanks for checking out the video!
your videos are so great! thanks for all the amazing game recommendations!
Thank you man! Really means a lot hearing that!!
Bro is YAPPING about YGO Falsebound Kingdom. But hey, everyone is wrong sometimes, no shame in that.
Always a little sad watching aging edgelords who don't realize there's a ton of offensive content being made these days, because their social media feed is filled with self-pity and paranoia.
