Nice video Jason, for those that are watching this is my uncles farm…. The truck boxes may look familiar, they are all of his trucks that I built the boxes for.
When I seen the first part I thought it was your trucks but you don't have duals on your chopper lol, I was confused for a sec
Hey Andy how many head does your Uncle milk?
I recognized the name but your badging is different
The boxes were familiar
I thought I clicked on one of your videos. Then when the narration started I was confused for a moment.
Jeeezzz you have to sell an ocean of milk to pay for something like that.
Big Dairy’s ship 1-2 trailer loads per hour 24 hours a Day. So $10-$20K an hour? Lol
@@robwar2288 That's a huge over estimate.
Farmer are suckers. The bankers and industrialist always screw them.
@@robwar2288 Not even close to the Truth
Did this nerd seriously just say 10-20k per hour? For a large dairy in shithole NY state? That's hilarious. Another man that's never been in business and probably never will be
Btw I live just over the hill from Hourigans so I'll call NY anything I please
Silage & haylage harvesters have come a long way from the pull behind one and then two row silage cutters I used as a teenager back in the 70s on our dairy farm here in Western Kentucky. This machine can harvest more in a day than I could in a month. I love seeing the new farming technologies.
Wow, what a machine 👍👍👍
Friends of our family bought a new 5400 when they first came out we thought that was a beast now look what they have. By the way that 5400 is still around
What a beast.
The farm I work for last summer used a John Deere 3975 pull behind forage harvester and a John Deere 7800 with a 740 Classic Loader to chop alfalfa. They don't have any alfalfa this year because they planted corn over all of it. They loaded the alfalfa up with John Deere 716A forage wagons and bagged the alfalfa up. I used a MacDon 9300 swather and a 16ft 920 auger head to swath the alfalfa
Very cool chopping team. I always like to see pull types in action
V12 engine? Holy... What a beast! Isnt too much for this application? Dear Lord... Monster!
Making cow feed😉👍 that's a nice forage harvester👍😄
That is one expensive piece of equipment. I definitely would not want to have that V12 pop for sure 😮😮😂
Worlds most EXPENSIVE Lawn Mower... 😅😊....
A Monster 😃👍
Wow, the power of the John Deere 9900 is impressive! 🌾💪
Don’t forget that it’s not Powered by a Deere Engine. So that saying that Deere likes to use “ Nothing Runs Like a Deere “ does not apply here.
Fergieman
Really nice chopper to have for sure
Have a super💯amazin week.
They are beasts alright, always like seeing the floater tires on the trucks💪🏻keep em comin
Wow really roaring on the hills!! Great action Jason big time stuff again.
Lots of power to roll through the harvest.
Maybe at some point, you could take a trip out to southwest Kansas, and get some footage of them chopping corn for silage.
Good video.
Awesome Video Buddy!
That hole at 0:23 looked painful for the dump driver lol
Still amazes me with all that horsepower it still pulls the engine down when it chopping
Super💯video
Nice work 👍
Show it in some corn. Show it’s real capabilities
My ol man an grandpa would shit to see all that waste omg
$821K jeepers, how much money are farmers making?
Great job Andy and all the crew.
I believe this is his uncles operation
It's his uncles farm
Andy may have made the boxes.
Not Andy's chopper this has front duals, but he made the boxes.
@@jacobcheney3987Is this the Uncle who’s chipper burned last year? Nice replacement!
That looks great with the duals on it. Most I see have the large metrics.
It’s a cool option.
Hi from Dexter🏠Missouri
As always.
👏👏👍👍🚜🚜👌👌🇧🇷
Chopper with head is probably around a $ million
Do you have a drone
Amazing productivity
The 9900 really eats up the acres fast.
Leibherr and animal motor . ran into a couple in their older excavators.
That i quite the machine. Wonder why JD didn't put that engine in a tractor.
Serious HP. Serious price as well. You'd have to do a lot of acres to pay for it. Beautiful machine though.
Was this shot at Andy's place back when he was demo'ing this harvester or was this one of his relatives? the name on the truck is slightly different than what his reads on his trucks.
Farming fixing and fabricating is one of my favorite channels to watch. This is not Andy ‘s farm it is a relatives.
@@bigtractorpower This channel covering the machinery and his channel covering daily farm life operations etc are the two best ag channels on YT.
Andy commented that this is his uncles farm and he built all the boxes
@@markcollmer I think there's at least one in this video Andy didn't build, but the others sure looked like his work to me too. I have watched his channel for several years now.
@404nitro Andy commented he built them I don't care if you helped him film was just stating he commented on this video
I believe this video was done two seasons ago.
It was for my 50 years of John Deere self propelled forage harvesters video. This 9900 has a 50 years decal. I had not gotten a chance to use the footage until now. I have 5 years worth of unused footage just waiting to be shared. See 50 years at th-cam.com/video/imFEn1oeQ34/w-d-xo.htmlsi=UN9tXnK5cJ8qq2di
but is it better milk ?
That is a monster. Must be what they replaced the burned one with, if my geography and heredity info is correct! Great video.
Yes.
gollygeewhiz , that name looks familiar
The red truck driver is dangerous.
Most dangerous truck driver around
He is very dangerous.
Dinky windrows try putting feed on front of it then talking
tire size on this machine ?
I cannot recall off the top of my head but I mention the size of the duals and their cost in the specs section of the video.
@@bigtractorpower thank you
@@bigtractorpowerI definitely would not want to have to fix the inner dual on that thing. Would need a $750k service truck just to get the tires off of him. 😮😮😂😂
Great video jason
Them john deere's a good but the claas is still just ahead of them
Is this just opinion then?
JD has a better quality cut is why they use them, Andy Has already demonstrated the better quality cut on the JD
my comments shave been blocked, you asked if we chopped HS, posted a link, well, back to the business of farming
Almost a thousand horsepower to process alfalfa? That's a head scratcher. It would be interesting to see a breakdown of how the power is divided through the various parts of the machine's sections.
Well just wait till January when Trumpster's 60% tariffs on China take effect on Ag commodities. Brazil and Argentina thank farmers for their vote.❤
Why going so gd fast spilling sht all over?
I was going to say that looked like an Andrew Hourigan silage box (Farming Fixing and Fabricating) you tube channel, than I read the door of the ruck :)
Maybe his uncle's.
Other comments said it is the Uncle whose chopper burned last year.
@@mfreund15448 yeah forgot about that.
Check out 1:39
@@stubstoo6331 yea I knew it wasn't Andy, his chopper dose NOT have duels, I figured a brother or some type of relative
Is this Andy hourigans trucks ?
i think Andy still runs an 8700 . but most likely a relation in "central ny" i believe Andy said there are 3 family farms and they work together on some works . the dump boxes certain to be built by Andy and girls
It's his uncle's., but the boxes are Andy's
Too big
Too expensive !
Too big for what?
Big Andy's uncle!!!
😁👍
