I have followed your journey on TH-cam. Not many people would give up their career and the fame for Jesus. So proud that you listened to the Lord and obeyed. Prayers for you and your family and this new journey.
Many would if they are a tuned to God’s Spirit and moving because they were listening. It is not hard when the Spirit of God is so present.
As sad and as big a loss your family has had Jesus has directed and you have followed. God Bless 🙏👵🏻

Why not the Old Testament too?
@Matthewstevens I think the reason he said to read the New Testament is because we no longer live by Old Testament law. I am not saying there are not wonderful things all throughout God's Word but the most things that can apply to today with so much application to our life and living today is found in the New Testament. Psalms is an encouraging book with praises of David throughout. So yes, there are absolutely great truths in the Old Testament and things we can apply like the praises in Psalms. And I do believe the whole Bible does have purpose. I am just explaining why I think he said only the New Testament. I may be wrong, but that is my thoughts.
@@matthewstevens2994 Good question, I actually started reading it a few months back every night also. The New Testament is a lot easier to grasp and learning about who Jesus is and what he did definitely makes the Old Testament A LOT easier to grasp. Pray and give the Bible a fighting chance, EVERY NIGHT, and something is going to rattle inside!

Having my own emotional and mental breakdown last year, I prayed to God for a reset button. Since then I’ve found my own love for Christ and listening to your podcasts is what helped the most. I’ve been listening and going over these same verses for the past few weeks now and listening to this sermon has put a whole new perspective on it and my life. God blessed you with this opportunity to reach out to everyone and you nailed it. God is loving, God is forgiving, and God is graceful, but most of all God is good.

I hadn't heard of you till I watched Daniel Arms on his TH-cam channel in the past year or so, I'm 60 and never was a music follower, who sang what sort of thing. I know I can’t be the only one crying and tearing for joy at the end. Because it’s so nice to see someone who loves Jesus Christ with a full heart and he loves him that much to quit his 24 career in music and follow the loving path of Jesus . You were my first ever country concert, at the Clay County Fair, in Florida. Then I saw you again in Jacksonville, Florida. I wish I could be at your last concert, but I praise the Lord for giving you new life and I look forward to seeing you again one day down the road.
So excited God led me to this video this morning. You don’t know how much it has opened my eyes to not have to deal with guilt anymore the way I have been. And I also asked God to save me and come into my life fully and he has given me a new heart!!!! Thank You for your message and God bless you on your new journey!!!
This is super cool! I would encourage you to get plugged into a local church if you haven’t yet. If you’re need help finding one then let me know and I’ll send you an email address and I can connect with you and help you out with that. Life after Christ is certainly not easy, but there’s no place I’d rather be then where He wants me to be. There are times where you’ll still wonder why God has you where He does, and often times that’s because you don’t need to know yet. Trust God with your life, and you will never regret it!
Praise the Lord!! Remember that he will never leave you or forsake you!! And that verse is in the Bible! Also no one or anything can ever take God away from you. Remember we are all flesh until we reach Heaven. We were all made in the " likeness of Christ" just as we were to be before Eve took fruit from the tree after God created them and gave it to Adam and he ate it too. You may sin but those sins were already paid for when Christ died on Calvary. There is a word that happens when we accept Christ into our heart. It is "Justified". We are justified when Christ comes into our heart. Justified means "just as if I never sinned" Another thing is to remember God gives me us "eternal life" that is in a verse in book of Romans and other places in be God's Word. God will "NEVER " take salvation from you no matter what you do. He says "I will never leave you nor forsake you". Also eternal life spoke of in the of Romans means your salvation cannot be taken away. The Bible also says that "neither Height, nor depth not principles nor powers shall be able to separate you from the love of God". That does not mean we do not need to ask for forgiveness of our sins after we get saved. We do need to even though you will not lose your salvation if you do not. It will affect your relationship with Christ and your rewards in Heaven but you never need to ask Christ to come into your heart again for any reason! Now what if I as a saved Christian since 1973 were to walk away from God, church, and everything that has to do with Christ and go down the wrong path?? Remember, Christ will not leave you! God NEVER leaves you! We as Christians can walk away from God but according to His word God will never walk away from us. If you have never read the Bible start with the book of Psalms. It is a great place to start. I personally like the KJV (King James Bible). It is the closest to the original Bible and it was the first Bible that came out in the 1600's. It is the closest to the actual words that Christ used. I do have an NIV (New International Version) that I use you study to help me more fully understand verses when I do not get the verse or words in a verse. But my main Bible is KJV. Another thing to help you grow in your Christian life is to start reading the Bible every day. I do studies on certain books of the Bible etc like twice a week because that takes longer to do. . I also ordered Our Daily Bread which is a donation of any amount to get it sent to you but if you find one that you like here use it!! I like it because it is a shorter devotional for each day and is very good with a theme verse and a short devotional leaving me more time to pray daily. Last, it is important if you can at all get into a good Bible believing, Bible Preaching church. The Bible says Pray without ceasing!

Your last concert was the best! It was good to see you one last night as a musician! I wish you and your family the best in the next chapter of your lives! Also, I just finished reading your book today. Some parts of it were difficult to read. I loved that your book can relate with a bunch of different people of all backgrounds.
This week started off rough due to the feelings old memories stirred within me. I greatly needed this message and had no clue God would guide me to your video for a timely message of encouragement. Thank you for being obedient and faithful to share your heart, and may God continue to mercifully enrich you and your family!

I do have guilt. My mom was in the hospital and she grabbed my arm & kept asking me to help her & I told her the nurses & drs were helping her & she said no, no one is helping me. I asked what I needed to help her with & she looked me in the eyes and said I’m passing away & I don’t want to go. I told her she was going to be okay and that she wasn’t passing away & when she asked are you sure I said yes your gonna be okay. Things were ok that night but she couldn’t talk the next morning. She tried but we couldn’t make out what she was saying. 6 days later she passed away on 5/2/2023 on the 13th Anniversary of my dads passing.
I am gonna watch this more than just this once to keep hearing your message. Thank you Granger. ❤
