I’ve been a first responder for most of my adult life. I’ve dealt with this on our end too many times. I find comfort as a dad and as someone who tries to be used by Jesus when the time comes, that your little man no longer will fill any type of pain. That when Jesus held his arms open for him, the joy your little man feels every second of everyday cannot be compared to any joy here on earth. He stepped out of the constraints of time. To him in heaven the very next second, he gets to spend eternity with you and all his family. He won’t know it’s been however many years from that day to the year y’all are old and go to be with our savior. We are the ones still bound by time and waiting for our eternal time with Jesus and with those we love.

I was given 134 days with my son. 4 months and 3 days. 12/27/18-4/30/19 He was a warrior. He rocked an extra chromosome and a heart warrior. I had a friend shoot himself in his room right next to his parents..his parents knew he had a mental disorder and so they kept check on him everyday. Ik that for a fact bc I’ve been at his house and his parents were extremely stricted on what he could and couldn’t do. They never owned firearms. His parents legally could not possess firearm in the household bc of their son. But yet he still managed to find a way to get one in the house without them knowing! Plus anything can happen at a split second. We as humans get distracted. And we will always make mistakes and slip ups and it just so happened to be then at the wrong place at the wrong time. But I believe everything has a purpose. Everything that happened that day had a purpose. And only God knows that purpose. But it still happened because of God and you have to understand, literally anything can happen whether your there or not. So don’t blame the parents. You know that they take care of their kids and that they care very much abt them..they wouldn’t put their kids in harms way. And it just goes back to us being human. We have instincts. One day you’ll make a mistake and realize that it happened for a reason. And what does disciplining your woman have to do with this?

It’s amazing how often River mentioned Heaven in the video. You can’t help but wonder if he knew what the Lord had in mind for him. This precious child was so wise for him to be 3 years old. Such joy he was and these amazing memories you will have forever.
The day before my niece died, she said she is God’s littlest Angel. She gave everyone a kiss as we were sitting together for Mother’s Day. She was killed in a car accident, but I do believe they know their time is up. What an amazing life.

I've literally just found your channel. We lost my nephew at the age of 4 to a severe febrile seizure complicated by his asthma in 1997. He also had strawberry blonde hair. You said it best when you said everyone has a set number of days. I held him the night of his episode. He wasn't feeling well and everyone else was eating dinner. And I knew in that moment to soak it up, but not knowing it would be the last time I held him. But God spoke to me and I knew to just to remember his warm "little"(he was tall for 4!)body, his curly red hair against my cheek, and the blue fuzzy warm pjs he was wearing. My heart goes out to anyone who has ever had to experience the loss of a child. It's a pain unlike any other. God bless you guys!

Granger and Amber, I’m watching this again on Christmas Eve of 2021. I’m trying to gain strength. My husband has fought cancer for four years and is now in hospice care. This year he was diagnosed with a blood cancer on top of the esophageal cancer he was diagnosed with in 2018. I love your family. You are so strong and faithful. I’ve lost all my faith. I grew up in a Pentecostal church..very religious…and watching the suffering my husband has gone through for four years has taken its toll. I’ve lost contact with many of your videos because of illness on his part. But today I wanted to see this again to feel the faith that your family has. Thank you, thank you.

I usually can’t watch tribute videos of children because I get very emotional. I watched River’s right to the end. He reminds me of my 5 year old when he was 2-3 years old. My cousin drowned during a summer camp. He was only 3 years old. The employees didn’t put a life jacket on him and let him wander to the pool. He was found floating face in the water because one of the employees told a kid to go check on him. It was one of the hardest days for my family and for our community. I pray for you and your family.

They wouldn’t have left him by himself in the pool especially if it was deep enough for him to drown. You have no clue how deep the pool was and who was with him. And you have no clue how much pain they are in because if you knew how it felt to lose someone you care about then you wouldn’t question it or be so rude about it and you would be sensitive about things like this because it’s not hard for accidents to happen. His parents legally could not possess firearm in the household bc of their son. But yet he still managed to find a way to get one in the house without them knowing! But I believe everything has a purpose. Everything that happened that day had a purpose. And only God knows that purpose. But it still happened because of God and you have to understand, literally anything can happen whether your there or not. So don’t blame the parents. You know that they take care of their kids and that they care very much abt them..they wouldn’t put their kids in harms way. And it just goes back to us being human. We have instincts. One day you’ll make a mistake and realize that it happened for a reason. And what does disciplining your woman have to do with this?

The day before my niece died, she said she is God’s littlest Angel. She gave everyone a kiss as we were sitting together for Mother’s Day. She was killed in a car accident, but I do believe they know their time is up. What an amazing life.

I've literally just found your channel. We lost my nephew at the age of 4 to a severe febrile seizure complicated by his asthma in 1997. He also had strawberry blonde hair. You said it best when you said everyone has a set number of days. I held him the night of his episode. He wasn't feeling well and everyone else was eating dinner. And I knew in that moment to soak it up, but not knowing it would be the last time I held him. But God spoke to me and I knew to just to remember his warm "little"(he was tall for 4!)body, his curly red hair against my cheek, and the blue fuzzy warm pjs he was wearing. My heart goes out to anyone who has ever had to experience the loss of a child. It's a pain unlike any other. God bless you guys!

Granger and Amber, I’m watching this again on Christmas Eve of 2021. I’m trying to gain strength. My husband has fought cancer for four years and is now in hospice care. This year he was diagnosed with a blood cancer on top of the esophageal cancer he was diagnosed with in 2018. I love your family. You are so strong and faithful. I’ve lost all my faith. I grew up in a Pentecostal church..very religious…and watching the suffering my husband has gone through for four years has taken its toll. I’ve lost contact with many of your videos because of illness on his part. But today I wanted to see this again to feel the faith that your family has. Thank you, thank you.

I usually can’t watch tribute videos of children because I get very emotional. I watched River’s right to the end. He reminds me of my 5 year old when he was 2-3 years old. I could see what a joy River was. So much life and love in his eyes. I could see he lived life to the fullest. I believe as well that our time here is our time. River definitely made the best of his! Today, my heart truly smiled. Amber and Granger, you both have come so far and have become so strong together over this last year. God has a plan and y'all will only continue to grow stronger. I dont know how I landed here, on this one. I work in organ donation... on the donor side. God bless you for having the courage to let River leave a legacy of unknowing love and generosity. I hope, by now, you know some details or even have corresponded with his recipients. I can, with 100% guaranteed assurance, say that he touched many lives that you aren't even aware of. I remember every single donor and their family that I ever met... never mind the hospital staff, doctors or even the hospital support staff. I lost my brother in a farm tractor accident when he was 13... my parents were never the same, but I see that you are working hard on holding your life together as it is rather than sink into the abyss Thank you, on behalf of the recipients, for your gift.

My cousin drowned during a summer camp. He was only 3 years old. The employees didn’t put a life jacket on him and let him wander to the pool. He was found floating face in the water because one of the employees told a kid to go check on him. It was one of the hardest days for my family and for our community. I pray for you and your family.

They wouldn’t have left him by himself in the pool especially if it was deep enough for him to drown. You have no clue how deep the pool was and who was with him.
