@CommanderGrape01 I think HGSS is only faster than DP&P because Johto isn't as big as Sinnoh and doesn't has hazards like swamps or snow that stops you every step you take. I do agree that Y Megas for Charizard and Mewtwo are better selections, but plot wise, Gen 6 was written with Xerneas in mind. And I like Slurpuff more than Aromatisse. I don’t have the same reason for Scarlet and Violet, as I love the version exclusive, the uniforms, and Miraidon is the only roboticized Pokemon that maters in a sea of paradox mediocrity.
the best replay value are in Gens 4-5-6, exclusively to Heartgold/Platinum , BW2 and XY/ORAS Those were the peak of Pokemon, and were are so far away from a game with a ton of content like those.
I have the Nexomon games, so I'm numb to what Pokémon AS A WHOLE either doesn't do or refuses to do, BUT for what they are, i think : Fire Red does Kanto the best, simply because it does what the previous ones couldn't, both graphically and gameplay wise; ORAS does Hoenn the best, for the same reasons and you're smacked outta your skull if you think endless battles and shiny hunting is a proper "ending" over riding a Mega evolved Rayquaza into space to battle Deoxys, lol. Platinum is the best Sinnoh experience that's not a question, AT all. Sword and Shield took out the Elite 4, turning the Pokemon League tournament....into an ACTUAL tournament and let us use stored Pokemon from other playthroughs in new save files and Scarlet and Violet is FAMOUSLY the most broken game of the franchise, so anyone saying Scarlet/Violet is better, you're lying.
I completely agree about Platinum over BDSP. If for whatever reason someone doesn’t have access to Pokémon platinum, then and only then do I recommend going out and buying a copy of Platinum. Never BDSP lol
I do agree that SV will be the new gen 5, especially when we get the successor to the switch and can play SV without the lag which was the biggest problem. I think there is 3 big issues with SV and playing it on the successor to the switch should fix most of them. 1. Lag, it's bad in water (probably because the game isn't optimized enough for a console that was nice tech almost a decade ago.) but the performance boost for the Switch's successor will fix this. 2. Glitches, it was pretty much fixed with the patches, and in almost 200 hours in Scarlet I have not encountered more than a couple visual bugs (camera being weird with the floor in battle) 3. No badge scaling, this was unfortunate because you pretty much had to play in the designed order despite it being open world, and you being able to get over leveled pokemon. I definitely would not have Grusha as the final gym because I picked fuecoco so I just spammed torch song and won lol. 4. Yes a bonus issue, but it's more minor, the E4 was way too easy. I think they might have made it easy because the E4 in BDSP was so brutal (I know ILCA developed BDSP but they had direct oversight and they definitely just did what they were told.) but Geeta is a pushover, and not leading with Glimora, and having kingambit as the ace is just wrong (glad the rematch fixed that.) But I consider Nemona the real champion anyway so it doesn't really matter. Thanks for listening to my ramblings, have a great day.
@@Walrus5 1. That's an opinion. 2. Graphics aren't everything. 3. Black, White, Black 2, and White 2 combined didn't sell as well as SV so clearly some people like it. 4. Get out of here with your obvious rage-bait.
@tylerdavis6511 its not ragebait, it will never be appreciated as a good game because of the reputation it already has. Most people already see it as the worst thing released by game freak, and one of the worst triple A games ever made. It cant save itself after having a reputation like this.
I really enjoyed gen 5 but the Pokémon designs where really bad. Easily the worst gen for Pokémon designs. To many weird shapes and extra weird things on the Pokémon.
Here are my favorite Pokémon games in order by generation: Generation 1: 1. Pokémon leafgreen version, aka my first ever Pokémon game. 2. Pokémon special Pikachu edition aka Pokémon yellow. 3. Pokémon let's go Pikachu. Generation 2: 1. Pokémon soulsilver version. 2. Pokémon Crystal version. Generation 3: 1. Pokémon Ruby version. 2. Pokémon Emerald version. 3. Pokémon Omega Ruby. Generation 4: 1. Pokémon Pearl version. 2. Pokémon shining pearl. Generation 5: 1. Pokémon Black version. 2. Pokémon White version 2. Generation 6: 1. Pokémon X. 2. Pokémon Y. Generation 7: 1. Pokémon Moon. 2. Pokémon Ultra Moon. Generation 8: 1.Pokémon Sword. 2. Pokémon Shield. As for Generation 9, because both Scarlet and Violet were released unplayable on day 1, both of them are considered to me the worst in the series. I rank games based on performance and playability.
i'm confused why you represent the worse versions of games like ruby/sapphire fans or bd/sp fans as if they exist.. or maybe thats the joke? idk, i just dont think anyone defends them as the best version
Some people do. It's probably because 3rd versions don't sell too well, so Ruby and Sapphire for example sold way better than Emerald, so there are people with nostalgia googles who can't admit they are wrong. For BDSP, some people just can't deal without the new QOL updates (shame that tms are breakable though) and the grinding of no exp share (I mean the modern one, not the held item.) and no, without the modern EXP share it's not "challenging" as I've seen people say, it's just monotonous and pointless (and I'm saying this as a shiny hunter who had to do 17,000 resets for a shiny Arceus so it's not like I'm a zoomer with no attention span.) and as someone who's first pokemon game was Pokémon Ruby I do miss the modern EXP share when I replay older titles.
@CosmicMercury56 i really disagree with the first point because emerald is literally the same game but just added onto, there is genuinely no way to defend ruby and sapphire over them lol for example i loved sun and moon growing up but never got to play the ultra version... but i still said my fav is ultra sun and moon and eventually played them too. but yeah the exp share is definitely a good feature, i rlly dont understand ppl who say exp share makes the games too easy considering experience share systems have existed since like the 80s
Pokemon BDSP is the best way to play Sinnoh and the best remake in the franchise. It is much better to play with the quality of life improvements and additions such as hideaways, ramanas park, following Pokemon and customization. Plus free Mew and Jirachi as well as the Azure Flute that leads to Arceus. Better gym leader and elite four rematches too. HGSS, ORAS and Platinum are not good games and not the best in the franchise. Don't recommend playing them.
BDSP as the best way to play sinnoh, fine, I do miss the QOL of modern games when playing older titles, but saying it's the best remake in the franchise is WILD. The hideaways were stripped to their bare bones (I say this because I don't believe you have even played Platinum. And the Ramanas park is awful to get the slates for.) The mew and Jirachi aren't free, they require you to have save data for 2 other games, and the Azure flute requires you to beat Legends Arceus and catch Arceus in that. The first way to get shiny Arceus legitimately is quite nice I will give you that (it was not kind to me though it took 17,000 resets) Also, the difficulty spike is horrible game design, it goes from one of the easiest pokemon games I've ever played, to the most difficult thing in any pokemon game and you can't even get the competitive items and stuff they get, until after you beat Cynthia. I did love the rematches though, now that I could get the right items and EV train properly. Have you even played the games you are trashing? Because I have, while they have their flaws and don't have the modern QOL changes they are by no means bad games.
@tylerdavis6511 i did played Platinum and it terrible compared to BDSP. The hideaways are new so you have no idea what you are talking about. Just be quiet. I bet you haven't played BDSP or Platinum. Muting notifications from you
@@JamiePokemonTrainer I mixed up the name of the secret bases (which were watered down versions of their former glory), and the awesome new additions of hideaways, that is my bad. However, I have played and enjoyed both, I even got a shiny Arceus (that 57 seconds between each srs sucks btw.) I enjoyed BDSP, but saying Platinum, HGSS, and ORAS are bad games is just wrong. Do you like them? Apparently not. Does that make the games bad? No. It does not.

I really enjoyed gen 5 but the Pokémon designs where really bad. Easily the worst gen for Pokémon designs. To many weird shapes and extra weird things on the Pokémon.
pokemon hg - 3 Fire types no problem / Pokemon Diamond 2 fire types massive problem
Why are there so few comments? 😭
Because it only went up 100 minutes ago.
9:24 what the
Here are my favorite Pokémon games in order by generation:
Generation 1:
1. Pokémon leafgreen version, aka my first ever Pokémon game.
2. Pokémon special Pikachu edition aka Pokémon yellow.
3. Pokémon let's go Pikachu.
Generation 2:
1. Pokémon soulsilver version.
2. Pokémon Crystal version.
Generation 3:
1. Pokémon Ruby version.
2. Pokémon Emerald version.
3. Pokémon Omega Ruby.
Generation 4:
1. Pokémon Pearl version.
2. Pokémon shining pearl.
Generation 5:
1. Pokémon Black version.
2. Pokémon White version 2.
Generation 6:
1. Pokémon X.
2. Pokémon Y.
Generation 7:
1. Pokémon Moon.
2. Pokémon Ultra Moon.
Generation 8:
1.Pokémon Sword.
@@eliserss True, pokemon fans are weird. We have genwunners, and the people you are describing in this comment section.
How can you say fire red is better than the OG games 😂
Because it is in every way lol.
found the genwunner
its really not that old
bro i think you swapped the things on the title

Luminescent Platinum 🤌🏾🔥🔥🔥 best gen 4 game easily
