I've only recently purchased my first real fishing boat, our second power boat. Haven't even been able to get it wet yet, other than lots of snow! Yeah, I purchased it right before we got a massive snow storm. Didn't have time to get it covered. Anyway, I can't wait to get after Kokanee! Thanks for the education, and motivation!

Hey Matt where is this myself and my 8 year old are curently fishing our way out west we are in MO now and next Nebraska 23 state 3 months and hopfuly lots of fish and maybe a few hog when we reach Alabama lol

I have a fishing tournament on Saturday May 21
A couple observations, whatever camera lens you're using, please know that it really detracts from the video! Your net looks to be 20' long and the boat, 3' wide. It's kind of even giving me a headache. Definitely stains the eyes of this old man lol. But, what an amazing fishing adventure! Do you feel like your released are set too tight? It seems you're really struggling to get the line to release. That may be a perception of the crazy lens distortion too though.
Nice fish. Would be nice to see you do a cooking video sometime instead of just a catch and release. Would love to see your favorite way to prepare these fish. :)

Have you tried smoking the trout its quite good that way with some brine an then some glaze ? Can do it same as salmon

Agreed, and also maybe because I'm watching from my phone. It causes so much eye strain, even a bit of a headache. Could be my old eyeballs too though.

We have 😂10 acres at bridge lake in the Cariboo....we get some kokanee over 20 inches and 4 pounds....some around 8lb occasionally
