Kokanee Krew Outfitters is a fishing charter that knows how to catch delicious kokanee salmon. So as soon as the ice came off Strawberry Reservoir, we got on the boat to load up on fish. Wait, how can they be two years old? Kokanee dies after they spawn, right? Or they just grow slower?

Salmon live for 2-5 years. Then spawn once in their last year of life. They do not spawn every year.
