Julie's death was so quick and uneventful that it made it even more savage. Fisk had her killed like it meant nothing to him. Just a tuesday
It was so quick that I missed the scene. I thought she ghosted him until later on.
The scene is over so quickly I had to rewind, I couldn't believe they'd kill a character over a CCTV camera with no circumstance or emphasis at all, but that's what makes it all the more brutal.
I didn't even know that happened till I saw the reaction.
When I was watching, I had no clue that was her, until much later in the season.

The Karen/Fisk scene is one of my favorites of the whole series. I love how it was shot too, how the camera is over Fisk's right shoulder when he's in control, then slides over to his left when Karen takes control back.
The same camera trick was also used in the interrogation scene in The Dark Knight.
The fact that they were wearing black and white was a nice touch as it was like they were playing mental chess with each other.

I atleast can’t help but feel sorry for Dex ..it’s not like as soon as he killed those people at the Bulletin that he completely gave into his murderous tendencies ..he was shaken by it and tried to stay on a good path with Julie’s help but Fisk dealt with that in such a nonchalant and brutal way.
Karen ‘s plan was reckless but her tying to trick Fisk into attacking her made sense to me..she was willing to die just so Fisk can go back to jail and rot
It's Fisk, he'll win any trial but if he can't he'll just come back and Karen would still be dead. Like Tony stark would say....not a great plan 👎
3 years late but Dex was not a bad person. He was broken since he was young and bad people took adventuge of him
Like Matt, Karen is willing to die if it means putting Fisk back behind bars. Foggy's plan was to catch D.A. Tower off guard, Karen just took that plan and tried using it on Fisk, and it did work, kinda.

I actually completely missed the Julie thing. I must have looked away for a second....Literally one second.
Julie knew Dex had been stalking her for a long time, but was still willing to try to help him. What a great person, no wonder Dex fell for her.
Why was Eric so confused by Karen's plan? She was seconds from tricking Fisk into attacking her in front of the FBI. It almost worked.
@@igor953 by Fisk assaulting Karen, it would invalidate the deal that he struck with the FBI. It would send him back to a maximum security prison and leave Vanessa without immunity.
@@igor953 If Fisk would have beaten Karen up, he would have violated his deal with the FBI and he would have gone to jail again
@@igor953 not all of it, only a handful of agents close to his case. Such a clear violation of his terms would put him at too high a risk of losing everything. Which is why he didn't even touch Karen.
If Fisk is in control of agents of the FBI (which hasn't been revealed to us by this episode, outside of Dex), Karen doesn't know that. Her plan was to get Fisk to commit a felony on camera, invalidating the deal and sending him back to prison.
@Darewin Ocampo if Fisk was 100% sure that he could bury it, he would've at least attempted to kill Karen but he didn't. The implication there is that the footage could've reasonably gotten outside his sphere of influence.

Yeah....most upsetting thing Fisk has ever done? Having Julie killed. Just so callous and casual...
I glad they mentioned Wesley , I loved his character , wish he hadn’t of died but it was bound to happen , the actor did great too

The restaurant scene with Julie and Dex is my favorite of season three. That goat sound is hilarious.
For real, Dex is socially akward and I can relate to that, some times I do weird stuff in public like him imitating a goat, I loved that part, and I feel sorry for him after everything, he just wanted someone to open up, I can also relate to that sometimes.
......hes not socially awkward. hes a SOCIOPATH.He has a hard times feeling for others due to his lack of empathy. he didnt love julie. he was just looking for someone to control him and get him back to his habits.
@@flameron1 sociopathic behaviour makes a person socially akward, diferent from a psychpath, sociopaths have the notion of right and wrong, even if they lack empathy, Dex wants to b good, but he can't do it by himself, his whole was people that cared for him died, he feels lost and confused about what he wants to do.
@@neph6098 except hes not. we have seen him speak to people just fine. the only reason he speaks to julie so awkwardly is because of what he wants and expects from her. to basically be his caretaker. hell shes the only person in the show he talks to like that.anything else you said doesnt mean much to what i said. hes not socially awkward.
@@flameron1 Neph is right, his character can talk normally with other people, but he does not have ay meaningful conversation or even a realtionship, he talks t his coworkers like they are completell strangers, this is also a characteristic of lack of social empathy, what makes him socially akward. And btw, saying ''I'm right and you're wrong'' is not a good argument for your point.😉
Gabi Marinara except I provided info as to why I think that. Now let’s actually think about the amount of people he has talked to. Let’s say he’s conversed with at least 10. In every single one of those altercations he never displayed any awkwardness. He also constantly makes jokes with his fellow FBI agents. I understand why one would say he is socially awkward. Maybe earlier on as a child he most likely was. HOWEVER the show never displays him being awkward due to being socially inept. He’s only awkward towards Julie due too to his longing for someone to take on the role as his caretaker. Someone to latch on to so he can stay on his fabricated moral compass.
The show simply doesn’t display him being socially awkward in anyway. Julie doesn’t count.
Julie's death might honestly be the saddest of the entire series, close with Hope Sholttman

Guys if Frank Castle would have shown up... I would have been dead. Because of what's coming up it would fit. Since Frank used to be in seminary but left, he struggled understand why God would allow killing, suffering, and saw there could be no forgiveness without punishment... But he wouldn't have gone for what's about to go down.
I felt the same way when Fisk got Julie killed like wow already 13 mins into the episode.

Wait, was it revealed before this point that The Nun was his Mother? I was pretty surprised by it or was it just made obvious and I didn't pick up on it.
TheZebbga Maggie the nun is his mom in the comics too so for people who are aware of that it was obvious plus I noticed clues they sprinkled in
Ah, I never read those Comics so that makes sense although I did ask someone who has read the comics this particular season is based on if it was in that and he said it wasn't. I guess he forgot or he was just being an idiot. I don't doubt there was clues through out but I wasn't thinking about it enough I guess.

I know netflix cancelled it but I am hoping disney or whoever continue it or make a movie or something because it was far too good in season 3. anyways cant wait for the rest of the episodes!! thanks guys~

I’m rewatching these reactions because the mcu shows are making me depressed. I love moon knight so much and the show is so meh and the talent is great, like the actors are amazing, but damn its so sad for how meh and soulless the show is. Has zero vision, edge, art, its so safe and middle of the road.
