I wish I could go back to these times. I still had my parents and siblings and many friends. Hard part about getting old is LOOSING your friends and family.

Same here. My parents are gone, siblings are gone and my wife of 31 years died in 2019. We actually went and saw Letterman live a few times in NYC. We lived there in the early 90’s. Good times. Not like now, and you’re right about getting old. It’s lonely business.

I love how Tony Randall in his cameos on “Late Night” during the late 80s/early 90s would be holding a can or bag of Eagle Snacks; he was their spokesperson at the time.

I wish they were still around. Eagle pretzels were the best ever.

These were great. I sort of remember Tony Randall acting all sad and depressed in the makeup room after in his first appearance of 'Biff Interrupts'

10 bucks says Trump insisted on that " I left my wallet at home" quip so that nobody would *think* he actually needed that change.

Frankly, one of the greatest cameos in Late Night history. Everyone is saying it.

I love Biff! I began watching David a bit late in 1999/2000 and my favorite bit was him out in the streets with a megaphone saying the weirdest things to people! lol
I was astonished at the time with how funny and spontaneous he could be but he was a staff member, not a comedian! Watching this helped me see how his comedy skills evolved... just great... :)

Nice subtle reference to the infamous Bryant Gumbel memo in the Willard Scott bit.

Of course he can't just stay in the hallway and do his bit..

The only insecure borderline narcissist that needs the adulation and adoration of the crowd so much he has to, ruin the bit. Notice how he is the only one that has to break from format. The only one. The guy was always such a loser.
