- There were two week-long installments of Biff Henderson's Golf Cart of Death: one in February 1991 and one the following November.
Sorry for the occasional video blips.
1. February 19, 1991. Soda cans.
2. February 20, 1991. Champagne glasses.
3. February 21, 1991. Cups of flour.
4. February 22, 1991. Condiments, and Dave's mistake of the night. Then Viewer Mail, featuring Anton Fig and Laurie "Rose" Diamond. (Into the commercial break, the band plays "You Can't Sit Down.")
5. November 26, 1991. Goose-down feathers.
6. November 27. 1991. Cups of superballs.
7. November 28, 1991. Pink champagne.
The February 22, 1991, disaster re-aired at the end of the antepenultimate Late Night on June 23, 1993.
Biff's got it all, a great job, a golf cart, the adoration of the American public, and a friend named Dave..... God does have favorites.

Don that was great to leave the viewer mail segment with Dave with his pants full of condiments. That was the best part.

Holy shit! That first time out, he ripped the cyclorama (that white backdrop)! I worked in theatre 40 years, and f@cking up one of those is NOT repairable! That is an expensive proposition!
David’s clothes became kind of a thing back in the day. When I was a kid, is used to dress like Dave. Long double breasted dress jacket with khakis, and nice white sneakers.
Amazing that he managed to run over the cyc lights twice before they finally put in a bigger backstop.

Rebecca Hladio lives in Pittsburgh now. Looks like she's married. I wonder if she's still in contact with Dave?
By this point in his career, about 10 years in, Dave's anger (and eventually rage) were starting to show through. I remember watching this in first run and thinking, "Why does he seem irritated?"
