This works a treat, literally just did mine tonight and it makes all the difference for comfort. The measurements I found worked best is 4mm plate aloy sized at 40mm 38mm 50mm 38mm 40mm. The two 40mm measurements are what bolt down, the two 38mm measurements are the up stands and the 50mm measurement is the top side but that would also depend on the rubber she's you buy👌 I hammered my down slightly to get it snug in the new holder.
This is awesome I just did the same thing except used 10mm sockets that happen to be an inch in length to use to prop the seat on. Just for now till I can grab some rubber chair covers. But I am worried about rain now…if it rains it will be able to drip right under the seat
Looks like a piece of cake to do this. Usually I grip the "tank" with my knees to keep me back and stop me from sliding forward till my package grounds on the tank.

Good one. I did this to my 750x the other day and thought I had come up with a new idea till I saw your video just now. Doh!
Good idea, I'm going to try this on the 700s. Thanks for sharing this 👍
Like the tank protection .where did you buy it please

Technically speaking it does even in the stock position.
works great on my nc750s thank You!!!!
I am going to try that today. Great idea. Thanks
Thanks for the video! Can you tell me where I buy some tank grip pads like you have on your bike?
I'm going to give this a try. Can you tell the measurement that the front bracket needs to be raised to fit correctly? Thanks for sharing!
Cheaper than spending $500 on a custom seat :-D. Niceeee
Ok... I ordered the sit and fly. Coming from Israel so it will take a few weeks to arrive.
Can you feel a difference in seat height here? I'm 1,94cm so a bit higher seat height would be nice
Yes, and i will try lower pegs too
