The new PS5 update increased my WiFi speed on my console. It was at 250mbs now it runs at 350mbs thought they need to do more because I have 1200mbs speed so I'd like close to WiFi 5 1000mbs speed.
@@-Batman- 2 games have been broken for a week and it's was probably because of slow internet on PS5 and those games require faster speeds. I didn't see any changes other than the faster Internet when I started up destiny 2 because it opened much faster then before. I still think they have the WiFi 5 capped for some reason the problem I have with this is that Sony doesn't understand that it takes let power to on their servers to do downloads as fast as possible and that frees up servers from being overwhelmed by a lot of slow downloads and game downloads. I've never known WiFi to be limited to 250mbs and it was both the PS5 and the Xbox series x that were locked to 250mbs now Sony is faster at 350mbs but WiFi 5 has a top speed of 1000mbs. I just don't understand what they problem is with the game industry setting things exactly the same when they are supposed to be competing with each other and showing who have the best system period. I'm starting to think they get together and decide this is what we will both give them next gen before making consoles.
@@wade196840 but isn't ffxvi single player offline? But yeah, 250 mbit doesn't make any sense. That's why I use cable. But I use it more to get basically zero latency to my router plus I happen to have a 250mbit download speed anyway, so I never noticed.
My external storage drive stopped working until I installed this update. And then it had to find and reconnect to my my PS5. Oddly, the PS4 also got an updated number 12.00 and the same thing happened with the external drive connected to that too. I thought that I was going to have to reformat the drives again but everything is fine now.
Mine did the same maté so thanks for posting this info my drive was a WKD black? So hopefully 🤞 it works now as took it off my Ps5 and luckily I didn’t reformat it never even thought about it being caused by the previous update so thank you for posting this 🎉
My WK black external drive also stopped working earlier this week and I had no idea that it may be due to the previous update and was gutted as it’s full of ps4 games so I will plug it back in today and see if it now works so I just wanted to say thank you to the person who posted this information and has saved me from having to rebuild my library again 🎉❤😂
Have anyone else noticed none of the fresh idea games coming out belong to none of the first party studios from either Playstation or Xbox. They have all been independent studios not bought out by Sony or Microsoft, that says a lot
Indie games aren't fresh at all they are all iterative nothing different from AAA. Enjoy your indie slop though I didn't buy a console just to play another pixel art game about depression lol.

Yeah, where do you have it? Is it inside a cabinet or on a lower shelf next to alot of stuff? Mine has never over heated and it next to my TV on the stand out in the open(vertically)I have had my ps5 since launch.

That’s kind of weird, my external drive wasn’t effected. Maybe it’s only certain brands.

I feel like it increase the fan speeds. That's just me, I'm really sensitive to sound and it feels like they ramped them up with this update.
Clair obscure combat reminds me if legend of dragoon with turn-based but manual inputs for follow ups.
