What seems to happen in the autojourno world is someone reviews a car first and they develop the first impression, then all the other journos who have nothing original to contribute just parrot what the first journo said. This car is an example. Yes, that UI is outdated. But big deal. Nice to not have to scroll through menus for common options. Refreshing to hear an original opinion from Chad.
@@chadhaire1711 2020, Luxe. Not many upgrades. Can't find the warranty. Comes with 4 year/ 60000 i think. Been looking at these and the Hyundai Palisade
How the mighty Infinity has fallen. The FX and the G35 were groundbreakers when they came out and gave the Nissan offshoot respect. The FX was a Nissan Macan a decade before that came out. They had power and quality. Now the story is different...... thanks to junk Renault’s interference
That's a lot of cheese for an outdated "luxury" full size SUV. Old motor, bad CVT transmission and just an overall out dated vehicle. One could get a Mazda CX-9 Signature loaded up for 43k that blows this away and save 20 grand.
The value just isnt there with this one, the cvt transmission which has shown itself to be unreliable in the platform mate pathfinder has no business being in this "luxury" vehicle, the interior looks outdated not because of the buttons used but because of the materials and components used for the price, if you didnt display the vehicle sheet on the window i would have thought it was a 36-38k vehicle , not 60k.
Why is it crappy? Full disclosure - I own one - fully loaded 2017. I love it. Does the infotainment leave a lot to be desired aesthetically? Absolutely! With that said, it is fully functional. No issues. Does everything it is supposed to do. 15 speaker Bose sounds great. The seats are comfortable as hell. Long rides are easy in this vehicle. Have three teens with two in sports and can haul everyone and everything. Smooth. Low noise. Good pick up regardless of the CVT. I have every safety feature it provides. And it doesn’t look like all of the other SUVs on the road. Heated and ventilated front seats and heated second row with tri zone climate. And there is value next to others it is a win. I’m not trying to convince you or anyone to buy. Lol. Not by any stretch would I do that. With that said, the vehicle is far from crappy. No issues at all with the vehicle. I did test drive the XT6, Aviator, Q7, Palisades, Telluride, and the new MDX. My choice is the Aviator now. Germans are too expensive and the value proposition isn’t there. The 30 way seats, power, and massage seats were awesome. Also, there was enough leg room in comparison to my qx60.
What's outdated aren't the buttons (I prefer buttons too) but its the infotainment screen that is very small, slow with poor graphics. Also, who on earth uses a CD player in 2020? The overall center console is in desperate need of a refresh. The thing hasn't been altered at all in at least 12 years. That's simply unacceptable for a "luxury," and rather expensive, SUV. Anyway, it's all irrelevant as Infiniti has become the most irrelevant car brand on earth; it has one foot in the grave and the developers there clearly don't care.
I like this guy he gets straight to the point no dumb music or long intros 🤟🔥👌
and no naked girls I cant afford to get
Love your review! Most real and I can totally relate regarding the infotainment portion. Lol! Thanks
Excelente, I have 2017 awd, una maravilla.

Thank you for the video. How are you feeling about the QX in 2022?
i did a video on the QX 2022...check it out
Chad, what about a certified pre owned for around 34k with only 9k miles. Does that sound reasonable? Thanks
what year and what warranty?

@@dreitzell78 you need to find out about the warranty....these are expensive to fix.
@@chadhaire1711 will do, enjoyed the video. Thanks again
I obviously, think the Hyundai palisade is way better!! More tech, better reliability, no cvt engine!!
Why your background look like the 'Beat It' video?
I stole it from Sarah N tune
I am actually instilling emotions
I love this dude... I want a button! Give me a damn button!😂🤣😂

But look at all the buttons you get!
Nice weather we are having in Phoenix. Not. The roads are getting just thrashed as a result.
Congrats on your nice new garage...
just needs a coat of paint and will be like new
Maybe you can supply a few Burritos with a dozen cans of spray paint to do the job for you...... Eye Chee Wowa.
720p in 2020? really?
Explain yourself....all downloads are MP4...
Probably not the best area for 0-60 test..
The fact that this car still has basically the same interior as my '09 G37 is horrible yeah
that is why the Koreans are taking over!!!

Just had to fix the head gasket on my 16 mazda suv cx9 at just 100k mileage . Garbage
@@tomaracic1492 thats not going to stop me from getting a Mazda , thats definitely not going to make me think Nissan is better
No remote start on the Mazda, that was the dealbreaker for me.

Excellent review of a crappy SUV
Crappy? LOL
Definitely not crappy, but it could be better

Lol 60k for a cvt.
They own the JATCO transmission company..saves them money...makes you wonder how Mitsubishi will do now that they are part of Nissan..Infiniti....
