I love that MacMillan knew how much Soap meant to Price, and when he heard that he was dead, he immediately asked what Price needed
That's because the way Price sees soap is how Macmillan sees Price Almost like a Son they way Price treated soap was the way Macmillan did price, he Saved soap numerous time and he finally learned to trust soap and let him Kill Zakheav knowing he could have faith soap would manage to kill him seeing he failed before but the stakes are higher that time

Dude, sadly they took out a lot of great characters from the og. I hope at least yuri and sandman appeared on the next MW. Their deserve to get a second chance and alternate ending in the reboot since in the original their sacrifice plays a huge part.

This voice actor always call someone as "son" or "sonny" everywhere (like, cs:go sas quote "you'r champion, sonny.")
He was also mentioned within the cutscene after this mission when general mentions “it’s a hard pill to swallow” likely talking abt Mac’s death within this universe cus Price gets emotional abt it
In the og timeline, Macmillan never died, where does it say Macmillan dies in the new one? I played the campaign but never noticed it, just for some reference
@@lilsnow7809 he didn’t die in the og universe but in this 1 it’s very likely cus after the sniping mission Cap and Gaz try to save Laswell and she gets captured and Price is negotiating w Shepherd that they should go save her but he informs Price by saying that “I know that this happened on your mission, and that’s a hard pill to swallow” and then we c Price get a lil sensitive abt that information cus Shepherd is referring to the fact that he must leave her behind which has likely had to happen in this universe’s version of All Ghillied Up cus in the og universe Macmillan gets crippled from the the helicopter crash and Price is given the choice of leaving him behind or carrying him to safety which is what we did in the og universe but likely smth led to that decision being disregarded within this 1

The original Mordern Warfare Captain Price's name is John, while his Grandfather's first name is unknown.
WW2 Captain Price died at October 27, 1944, while original Modern Warfare Captain Price is still alive.
I don't know about the Reboot Captain Price's backstory, but it might share some similarities, but with a few differences since the Reboot Price is younger than the original MW Price.
