- Hello everyone! Today's video will be about the new 2015 Volkswagen Passat four door saloon. The car in today's video is a UK-spec Passat B8 saloon with the 1.6 TDI engine paired to a 6-speed manual in S trim. Enjoy!

The legendary Passat. To me it's the best in its segment.
Dry clutch has some problems, if you take care of it regularly it shouldn't be a problem. Volkswagen drivers in Mas like to race, don't rev it all the way, the gearbox should be fine.

Wonder why most of the VW I see in Singapore have one side of the fog lights not working when the fog lights are used...

In real life it's fuel consumption is 7l/100km My friend have one , defo not 4/100...
Yep, have company cars both this and 2.0tdi (150); and actually the stronger one uses good 0.5l less per 100km. This 1.6 is just not strong enough for almost 1.5t heavy Passat. On autobahn, if you shift into 6th at 120-130km/h it just does nothing unless you press the throttle pedal >75%. So, bottom line, if you can, definitely go for the 2.0 diesel.
