Just dusted off a 2007 Gt in my bolt on Lt1 Trans am. let him have the Hit and rolled right by him. My car has exhaust and 3.73 gears.. the only Stangs that will run are the Coyote powered ones
LS1 isn't even that fast if you out a 3v at the same power level the 3v is faster all it takes is a Lito tune a intake and throttlebody it will be around the same hp as a LS1 that said the LS1 was a Corvette motor with crappy HP stock but the modability was amazing
Maybe where you live you had crappy LT1 drivers. Around here LT1 drivers drive better cause nothing but taillights for the 3v to see. I used to beat em all the time with my 93 LT1 M6 Firehawk formula. Some races were close cause of there mods but I always came out on top. The 260 hp stang wasn’t that fast. The 2005 315 hp stang ran much better but still lost to my Firehawk LT1
People talking about LS1's even though they make a fair bit more power that said pit the 3v at the same power level and they are faster the 3v only makes 270 to 275 stock lol with a tune throttle body and intake and some suspension to make it a bit more fair the 3v is at the same power level about 307whp and is faster i only know cause I used to have both and I've raced both the 3v cause of weight can outrun a 392 not gap it but outrun it by about a bumper
No way you stayed a bumper ahead of a 392. Sorry man I don’t buy that at all. 485 hp Scat will eat your stang for a snack. They dyno 420-425 at the wheels. Race a Hemi Challenger rated at 376 hp at the flywheel I doubt you will beat one of those.
1991 foxbody uploader claimed the lt1 had a misfire, although they’re nothing special my 13.8 second stock lt1 never had a problem creeping away from 3vs on the street, my ls1 car embarrasses them lol funny you don’t know the difference between an lt1 and ls1 car but still decided to comment on it lol

I’d take the firebird. Handles better, more aerodynamic, more power, and IMO it looks better.

the engine they put in the new Camaros is called the LT1, however so was the sub 300 hp engine that came in these

We had a fbo with a ford racing manifold and dyno tuned with cams, didnt make but right at 300 to the wheel
