Nice video but some of the features you mentioned that are not covered by Toyota are actually in the owners manuals. Using the key to roll windows up and down, remote starting and putting the key to sleep (which is actually a power saving feature for the key battery when not in use and less of a security feature) were in my manual. It's good to see video demos though since reading the manuals isn't generally something everybody looks forward to. On some models, the window function feature will first need to be enabled by your Toyota dealer (and this should be at no charge but some dealers will try to charge you for it).
Thank you for sharing !! Here I was looking to get a remote starter , and you saved me a couple hundred dollars. I just bought a 2016 Tundra 1947 . And I can’t seem to get over how much I love this truck.
I just bought a 2021 Tundra double cab with 10,000 miles on it. It is absolutely gorgeous. It is my dream vehicle and is so much more appealing than the third generation Tundra.
When the truck isn't running, turn the headlights knob to off, engage the e-brake and start the truck. No exterior lights will come on, the vehicle will stay dark and running.
@@TxBoi4891 I believe they are referring to the daytime running lights but maybe mean all exterior lights like brake lights, which would be illegal to drive without, so kind of a pointless and dangerous tip.
Yup, just picked up another Tundra as they don't offer the V8 engine anymore.... going 1794 because she loves the western look being around horses and the ranch all her life... she's very happy. Yes im happy we finally found one and can afford the gasoline, lol. Simply wanted my last truck to pull our small RV and off road at times. Our last TRD Pro was an excellent experience towing and is still running great, but because it's getting up in mileage now. We found a nice 1794. I wouldn't recommend towing RV with 1/2 ton, but 5400 Lbs is simply a sinch for the Tundra towing capacity and one of the best setups I've ever had in towing. We are even planning more off road camp sites looking forward this spring... I highly recommend the Toyota Tundra. The gen two's are proven truck's that have the best history for reliability today. It will be 14 years before any other manufacturer can break Toyotas proven record for reliability and I'm getting so old, I just can't wait that long anymore.... :) Thanks Toyota!
What year is yours ..I have a 2016 platinum ..no remote start or window feature or auto open when i approach it like my 2006 is250.. also is there an android auto dongle/ setup without spending 1k and work consistently?
Just yesterday I paid $80 for remote connect . So today I cancel it because I didn’t know I have remote control. So I did it on time and I’m going to have my refund. Thank you so much
Hey thanks for the awesome features I didn't know about!!! Off the wall can you tell me what size rims and tires you have; they make your truck stand out!!!
Most of the features depicted here are exclusive options to his model year such as car play is only with supported models. The smart remote is one such option and so is the entry system and remote start. Not installed by default.
Many of the features shown are either for higher trim levels or newer years. My 2018 doesn't have the touch on the door handle, push button start, etc.
I wouldn't buy the 2024 Tundra. I'm never giving up my second Gen 2011 Tundra. I love this thing. As a matter of fact I think Im bordering on a unhealthy relationship with it😂. I spend more money buying it things than I should 🤣. It breaks my heart that they changed the Tundra appearance. The 2024 looks like a brick with wheels to me. I love the second Gen my truck is more rounded closer to the 07. I love the 14 to 22 years perfect blend of round and squared body style.
You couldn’t pry my tundra out of my dead hands. The remote start is worthless though. I only use wired CarPlay, because the Toyota Bluetooth won’t let go very easily.

Why don't you just turn the lights off? You can do that with it running.

I own a tundra, and I never would have known. Works great! Thanks 👍🏽
I just got a 2015 Tundra. I love it
@@scottelliott6568 what do you love about it. I’m about to purchase one too
The back window roll down is only available in the crew max.
Will that Apple Car play work even in a 2019 Tundra? or only 2020 and newer?
Most of the functions do not work on my 2017 SR5 Tundra. I am assuming these are all features on the Limited, Platinum, 1794 & TRD Pro.
My husband has the 2914 TRD Pro and it doesn’t work for that
I got a 2014 platinum and it doesn’t have that as well
Does the wireless transmitter for Apple Car play ONLY work with the Tundra radio that has the capability? I have a 2017 and curious....
Whats the name of the rims and what size tires and rims?

I don’t have that particular Toyota remote or does it work with standard remote that comes with 2015 Limited?
What year is this vehicle you are reviewing? Thx
Love this truck I learned 2 new things thanks
I have a 2018 SR5 and the remote start option doesn't work. Must be only on the limited.
Would the car play attachment work on my 2019 limited tundra?
Hey thanks for the awesome features I didn't know about!!! Off the wall can you tell me what size rims and tires you have; they make your truck stand out!!!
For the remote start. You can also unlock and re-lock it and the remote start will restart the vehicle.
Hi I have a 1974 2016 how can I by a remote control like your? mine don’t start whit remote control
What year model is that truck?
I bought an autosky dongle for Apple CarPlay but it won’t work for some reason
I don’t see the link for the dongle for apple carplay
Glad I came across this video. I will definitely checkout the apple car play gadget. You just got a new subscriber.

Kind of frustrating, but you’re right, I don’t have half of these features. My 2018 doesn’t have keyless entry, remote start or CarPlay.
Thanks for that great information. 👍
Short and simple video thank you!
Does that CarPlay work on a lexus es?
They suppose to work on most cars with touchscreens in em
The apple car play only works for 2020-2022 tundras. I bought it for my 2019 tundra and did not work. Check the list of cars before purchasing
Nice video, but if you want more subscribers, you might want to reply to some of the questions. Just a thought.
Unfortunately none of this tips worked on my 2014 tundra doble cabin 😢
Thank you

I have a 2020 Tundra 1794 and the remote start you described does not work on my truck. I have to subscribe to their remote service for $8 per month.
Keep trying it. My 2021 limited is very finicky. You have to get the timing right between all the presses of the lock button.
You couldn’t pry my tundra out of my dead hands.
The remote start is worthless though.

Does the 2014-2021 Model Tundra have crawl control?
No they do not
The link says it is for 2015. I have a 2014. Will it work?
