In 2017 i was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I struggled with my weight for so long my doctor told me what to eat and i stuck with it. It was hard. and i was miserable. I still struggled every day. My a1c was 6.8 to 8.1 . My LDLs were around 160 on average. I was on ravustatin and trulicity. The statins made me feel completely miserable. In January i finally said. Im done. I completely cut out all processed sugars and fruit with high sugar like bananas and grapes. I cut out all starches. Instead of potatoes i ate air fried sweet potatoes occasionally. Stuck to red meats. Lots of chicken and broccoli and other low starch veggies. I eat alot more eggs. Everything i cook i either air fry, grill or bake. Every morning i wake up and drink a large tumbler of iced vinegar/lemon water. Now my sugar is at highest around 115 in the mornings i walk alot at my new job. Ive lost 36 pounds since January. My inflammation is so much better and i sleep so much better at night. Last week i ate a chocolate bar and the first time since 2017 my sugar didnt go up. It was 94 a hour later after eating that candy bar. And the weird thing is. I dont crave sugar anymore. At all. It's such a great feeling!

At the age of 85 (male), and after being diagnosed with hyperinsulinemia and pre-diabetes, after a year on keto my markers are exactly where you wanted me to be (well, you do not know me personally)! And kudos to Google, TH-cam, and similar sources where I can access the best doctors in the world... for free. I love it!
I just had my yearly checkup and my triglycerides were 58 and HDL was 78!!! 🎯🎯🎯 I'm 72 and have been strictly carnivore for over a year. I didn't exercise over the winter, but recently started walking a mile each day. I also lay out in the sun for at least 45 min a day when it's sunny.
Good job. I'm 69 my last VA blood work was A1C 5.2, HDL 109 triglycerides of 44. Feel great on paleo low carb and activity. Appetite control was the first aha moment. 💪🙏
Wow, must be nice! I have normal A1c, but have a HDL of 28 mg/dl even though I walk 5 miles a day at a moderate pace... Sure wish I knew how to get it up to atleast normal levels!!!???
@@CubitaLola No starch. No fruits. However, I will indulge in some blue berries on a seasonal basis (summer months) ..but when I do it's once or twice per month. Basically, it's triple B & E including ground lamb, some chicken once or twice a month, fish when I catch it. I'll eat bell peppers a few days a week, well cooked & mixed with my beef or lamb some days. Maybe 3 small onions a month. I will buy 4 or 5 small tomatoes on the vine per month to add to my eggs,etc. Some days I'm at zero carb, other days 10 to 15 but RARELY over 20 carbs daily. Other than the seasonal blue berries, all the carbs come from the few veggies and/or whole milk Greek yogurt (plain) once a month. I do eat a fair amount of aged cheeses, but have cut WAY back to 3 or 4 ounces daily. It's WAY easy to over eat cheese as I LOVE the stuff!

Great and timely video for me. Just had yearly bloodwork as 67-year old female recovering T2 diabetic. HDL was 97.5 and I was concerned about that and total cholesterol being 280! Trigs. are 70 and Hba1c is 5.2. My Dr is crying statins because of TC and LDL almost 190. I eat low-carb/keto for 4 1/2 years now and I feel/look great.
So very helpful & reassuring! My doc wants me on statins, but I refuse & will continue to do so. He did frighten me by saying it’s not a matter of IF but WHEN I have a heart attack or stroke. I’m pretty sure I’m a LMHR. THANK YOU!

I have one(Lipodema)on my back (trapezius)due to a bruise. I then did trapezius exercises, (shrugs). The next day it appeared. Oh, I have Psoriasis. When I eat less carbs… It goes away. The skin on my face tells me when I’m high inflammation. So lucky.
A friend of mine went in to hospital for op, on the liver. When in hospital his psoriasis cleared up. No high carbs & eating little. This was not carry on when back at home. Back came the psoriasis.
Where were you when I was diagnosed with Type 2. Me, a person that avoided pills entirely, suddenly thrust a bag of pills to "cure" my T2. Fasting got me away from the pills. But my HDL is low. I think my last test was 38. Always been low as long as I have been being tested.

Strict carnivore past 3 months. Lost 23.5kg (51.8lbs), but still overeright at 264lbs. (Still losing about 2lbs per week).Using ketone strips - been in full ketosis for entire 3 months. A1C down to 5.5mmol/L from pre-diabetic levels of 5.7mmol/L. Triglicerydes good at 1.15mmol/L (slightly up from 1.03mmol/L). Fasting glucose 4.8mmol/L and fasting insulin at 8.5mlU/L. Liver function markers all good. ESR good at 10mm/hr. S-LDL up from 5.2 to 7.1mmol/L, as expected. What I don’t understand, is my S-HDL remained flat at low 1mmol/L despite being strict carnivore for 3 months? Why could that be?
My husband is 52 and already has a CAC score of 250. His triglycerides are 163, HDL 70, LDL 200. He has had similar numbers for most of his adult life. He is 6 ft 3 and weighs 188. Hemoglobin A1C is 5.7 and fasting glucose is 96. Last year he went low carb, but for someone like him I don’t believe he went low carb enough. I don’t believe he processes carbs well at all. His doctor is solely focused on lowering LDL and is pushing for him to get on statins. I am against that and and pushing my husband to go more towards Keto. I realize that may raise his LDL but I also know that it will lower his triglycerides and I’m hoping that will prevent further damage to the arteries. His LDL is the small type which I know is bad and so I’m thinking he already has some insulin resistance, and yet the doctor says no because his triglycerides aren’t that much over normal and his glucose is good. I know you can’t diagnose him, but could you please let me know if I’m heading in the right direction with keeping pushing him to go even more low carb? I would really appreciate any guidance. I feel he is way too young to already have this much plaque build up in his arteries. Makes me wonder if he has some other inflammatory condition going on or can triglycerides at that level do that much damage to the arteries? Thank you!

7:16: Thank you! I had an unexpected spike in my 25 hydroxy D level (went from my usual ~75 to 142!) just about 5 weeks after going carnivore, and hypothesized that this is what was going on. I mentioned it to my endocrinologist, but she had no clue about it. I have since cut out my D3 supplementation and will restart next month, at a lower level.
I have very high HDL 166 and LDL 198, low Triglycerides 57. My doctor wanted to put me on Lipitor and I refused. She thinks my lipid levels are very very strange, and I know I am simply an LMHR on low carb diet.

Got a high-ish CAC score, I realize now due to a high inflammatory diet while taking statins, and the doc wanted me to take statins because I had a positive CAC. Circular logic?
Long story, beware. I'm 65. At 60 I requested a CAC after unhealthy life and saw a cardiologist to get it. She reluctantly allowed for it. Score 312 and first thing she said: "I want you on statins". I refused and that was the end of our "relationship". I never was able to get another CAC. Perhaps I should look outside the country (I live in the Netherlands). My own approach: Intermittent fasting, 18:6 or so. Low carbs, little industrial products, no industrial seed oils. Love steak and it's an important part in my food. Magnesium, Vitamins D3 and B2 (I have elevated homocysteine), vit K2 and Boron to control calcium, Berberine and Chrome picolinate to control insulin (I discovered that I am pre-diabetic using a continuous glucose monitor) Fatty fish, cod liver and pure fish oil high in EPA and DHA. My omega6:3 ratio is around 2 now :) A few months ago I started with Natto kinase, now I'm on Lumbrokinase, I hope it'll be effective against plaque. NAC and MELATONIN, Taurine and Glycine. It's a lot, but thank God am only on Losartan as a drug. I hope I'll have a CAC again and I can then lower on supplements when I'm happy with the score.

My trigylcerides are 55, LDL 95, total cholesterol 162 but my BUN/Creatinine was elevated and glucose 89. This is 4 months post ketovore. Not sure what those mean. HDL went up from 38 to 58. My BUN is on the higher end and uric acid went up from 3.8 to 4.4 Are those concerning numbers? Lately I have been feeling fatigued and depleted so I added a little bit of starch. I workout too. Im a 36 y/o female. Do I just need to increase my fat? I have hashimotos as well. I dont want to overdue the protein if thats why my BUN/Creatinine ratio is high.
So, my hdl at last count was 95. My triglycerides were within range, LDL was high but down from last year, total cholesterol slightly high. I'm 63, have a pretty healthy diet, exercise, weights...but also have Hashimotos/hypothyroidism. I'm considered "prediabetic" too. Would love to believe my nice high HDL number was a good thing but have a sense I'm not winning the battle. (To...live forever?)
I dream of a day when I am a lean mass hyper responder. LMHRs have high HDL, high LDL and low triglycerides, which I believe is the state humans are supposed to be in. I am working on this goal by becoming lean from a very unlean state.
I became that, meaning lean and LMHR numbers. I did not feel energetic though, so now I cut out fish oil in addition to seed oils and eat 20-40g of carbs from white rice or potatoes a day.
I am a lean guy, 5'7 130 lbs., but wasn't LMHR after doing ketovore. My LDL actually dropped from 105 mg/dL down to 94 mg/dL, my HDL increased from 46 mg/dL to 79 mg/dL, and my triglycerides slightly decreased from 67 mg/dL to 63 mg/dL.

Thanks Doc! I have a consultation scheduled with you for October. Question ... what about high HDL, high LDL *and* high TG? On strict carnivore, my TG went from 110 to 380! hsCRP and ferritin were also both high (10.5 and 1200+) Over the past six months I developed xanthoma throughout my hands and xanthelasma on my eyelids. (The formation of xanthoma really kicked into high gear in late April - it's now very uncomfortable to do any work with my hands without gloves as anything I pickup hits a xantoma deposit and it hurts). Also wresting with pruritus for the past 8 weeks. I've taken the approach that this is an extreme case of insulin suppression gone on too long based on my habit of eating a large meal of protein and fat taken once a day, greatly in excess of what the body needed - in particularly as I was not exercising much at all. SInce then, I've added sardines and fish oils, split my meals into smaller ones (and am simply working to eat less overall as well), added exercise (fast walks of 3-9 miles) and even hit of something insulin stimulating from time to time with the hope of pulling the excess energy (TG) from the blood and into fat cells. After three weeks of that, my follow up tests showed TG down to 150. hs CRP down to 3.5, ferritin down to 750. However, the pruritus continues and I feel like the xanthoma are continuing to build. I"m due for another set of blood tests to see where I currently stand. Looking to see if I am on the right course and hoping for any tips or suggestions before my consult in October. Right now the pruritus is the day to day villain. Other than the pruritus, I don't have any symptoms of a biliary blockage (no pain, nausea, vomiting or fever, no jaundice) so, lacking other information, I'm operating with the thought that I've induced a condition of "nutritional hepatitis" based on the inflammatory effects of too much protein in an insulin suppressed state. Can I have taken in so much excess protein and nutrients that I inflamed my liver and impaired its bile handling?
@@robertcywes2966in April, when TGs were 380, A1c was 4.5. In May, when TGs were 150, A1c was 5.3. I hit hard with some carbs for about a week, then dialed back again. I'll get another measurement with my next set of tests.
But, but, but, what steps should I take to lower my inflamatory environment and thus raise HDL? I have been reading a lot for 6 months now and I am guessing the advice is removing inflamatory foods from my diet and doing intermittent fasting, but I'd like to hear you say it. I am cobbling advise together since I cannot count on my cardio nurse (post LAD stent) to give any advice but "take your statins".
found out i have CAC score of 402...absolutely shocked. Of course immediately put on statins but I think its more insulin resistance & I had a VERY bad reaction to Covid vaccine. My HDL is high. Its all so very confusing.

Mainly by getting insulin sensitive and then fasting. This combination ensures that you need to get fat out of adipose tissue for the bodies energy use and the liver generates HDL particles at this point. Don't think there is a short cut. That is the reason you tend to see high HDL in healthy people and low HDL in unhealthy people. One of the best markers of health is the HDL to triglyceride ratio.
Don't think it is a magic bullet like a statin is to LDL. Niacin in a healthy person may (or may not) help generate HDL. Niacin in someone with metabolic syndrome is likely to not do anything.

I wonder why men usually have lower HDL than women. As a woman, mine has always been great (4 years ago it was 109, currently 87). As you can see, it has gone down a tad in recent years, but I'm 65 yo. I have observed that men of all ages have lower levels in general. Studies have shown it's not hormone related, but why then? 🧐
My HDL is always between 115-120 and its always tagged with a red H saying it too high! I thought I read somwhere that it is bad if too high? My Trigs are under 50.
Been on Carnivore 3 months and shocked to see my Tryglicerides shot up from 79 to 167 and LDL from 190 to 565. HDL went up from 59 to 71. I did not expect my Tryglicerides and LDL to increase. I am 50, 139 lbs and 4% body fat. Lift weights and 25K-30K steps a day. I eat 80/20 hamburger, 4 oz chucke eye, chicken wings, 4 oz salmon, 9 eggs and 6 tablespoons of butter a day. I did do a lot of cardio that morning before my fasting bloodwork. Also, I do bake on Saturdays with Erythritol. Don't know what caused the increase. Should I retake my blood work?
I found a source that says no extreme exercise for 3 days prior to blood work. Perhaps try to find sources of what to avoid prior to bloodwork that can skew your results. I do resistance training 2 times a week, and my blood glucose is always elevated for a couple hours after my work out. Normal morning fasting BG is 95. after exercise it spikes up 20 points. This might have effects on lipo proteins as well.

So I have a question. I was diagnosed with high cholesterol years ago and was told I should take statins. I refused the statins. However I wonder if high cholesterol has anything to do with lipodema... I developed a big fatty lump " lipodema " on my back, between my armpit region and upper shoulder blade, just next to my armpit and it's getting bigger. It's almost the size of a golf ball. I also have a smaller one on my " jawline" . Are these fatty lumps related to high cholesterol and am I able to naturally get rid of them? Shrink them through ( exercise ) and perhaps fasting ?
My hubby has one on the back of his neck. When he eats more like I do (zero to low carbohydrate) over a few weeks it actually gets smaller. For awhile it was totally gone 😮 but when he is at work he makes different nourishment choices than when he is at home… fried foods, frozen coffee drinks, sandwiches and burgers with the bun and all. So for him, that’s when it all changes… refined carbs, added sugars, and seed oils. He also tells me how terrible he feels after a couple days. 😢 he’s getting more conscious of what he feeds himself now and has decided on his own what not to put in his body. Hope that helps in some way.

Slowly get off trt. Zero alcohol, and resistance training. I don't have a gym but use kitty litter buckets as weights. Also go slowly up and down steps w a bucket in each hand. Don't overdo the weights: one good session every 3 days ok. Erections like magic came back as I started drinking smoothies I made in my kitchen w beet juice. Just over 1/3 beet per day. I blend 3 beets at a time and store that in 2 32oz mason jars. Lasts just over a week. Good luck.
HDL has been injected directly on an experimental basis, but was found to be ineffective. Of course, a single study can yield anomalous results, and maybe endogenous HDL works differently from exogenous LDL.

Usually the pill is for some other issue, like diabetes, cholesterol, etc.

Low carb eater here...last lipid panel was: HDL - 66, Triglycerides - 60. Attribute HDL to eating a fair amount of eggs, e.g., half dozen a week.

Ask your doc to order a CAC test...if that's good...I would not take a statin. I was on a statin for years and now have muscle issues.

When I stopped Lipitor My hdl went up 20 points and my triglycerides went down 20 points!!
Strict carnivore past 3 months. Lost 23.5kg (51.8lbs), but still overeright at 264lbs. (Still losing about 2lbs per week).Using ketone strips - been in full ketosis for entire 3 months. A1C down to 5.5mmol/L from pre-diabetic levels of 5.7mmol/L. Triglicerydes good at 1.15mmol/L (slightly up from 1.03mmol/L). Fasting glucose 4.8mmol/L and fasting insulin at 8.5mlU/L. Liver function markers all good. ESR good at 10mm/hr. S-LDL up from 5.2 to 7.1mmol/L, as expected. What I don’t understand, is my S-HDL remained flat at low 1mmol/L despite being strict carnivore for 3 months? Why could that be?
My husband is 52 and already has a CAC score of 250. His triglycerides are 163, HDL 70, LDL 200. He has had similar numbers for most of his adult life. He is 6 ft 3 and weighs 188. Hemoglobin A1C is 5.7 and fasting glucose is 96. Last year he went low carb, but for someone like him I don’t believe he went low carb enough. I don’t believe he processes carbs well at all. His doctor is solely focused on lowering LDL and is pushing for him to get on statins. I am against that and and pushing my husband to go more towards Keto. I realize that may raise his LDL but I also know that it will lower his triglycerides and I’m hoping that will prevent further damage to the arteries. His LDL is the small type which I know is bad and so I’m thinking he already has some insulin resistance, and yet the doctor says no because his triglycerides aren’t that much over normal and his glucose is good. I know you can’t diagnose him, but could you please let me know if I’m heading in the right direction with keeping pushing him to go even more low carb? I would really appreciate any guidance. I feel he is way too young to already have this much plaque build up in his arteries. Makes me wonder if he has some other inflammatory condition going on or can triglycerides at that level do that much damage to the arteries? Thank you!

7:16: Thank you! I had an unexpected spike in my 25 hydroxy D level (went from my usual ~75 to 142!) just about 5 weeks after going carnivore, and hypothesized that this is what was going on. I mentioned it to my endocrinologist, but she had no clue about it. I have since cut out my D3 supplementation and will restart next month, at a lower level.
I have very high HDL 166 and LDL 198, low Triglycerides 57. My doctor wanted to put me on Lipitor and I refused. She thinks my lipid levels are very very strange, and I know I am simply an LMHR on low carb diet.

Got a high-ish CAC score, I realize now due to a high inflammatory diet while taking statins, and the doc wanted me to take statins because I had a positive CAC. Circular logic?

I'm 65. At 60 I requested a CAC after unhealthy life and saw a cardiologist to get it. She reluctantly allowed for it.
Score 312 and first thing she said: "I want you on statins". I refused and that was the end of our "relationship".
I never was able to get another CAC. Perhaps I should look outside the country (I live in the Netherlands).
My own approach:
Intermittent fasting, 18:6 or so. Low carbs, little industrial products, no industrial seed oils. Love steak and it's an important part in my food.
Magnesium,
Vitamins D3 and B2 (I have elevated homocysteine),
vit K2 and Boron to control calcium,
Berberine and Chrome picolinate to control insulin (I discovered that I am pre-diabetic using a continuous glucose monitor)
Fatty fish, cod liver and pure fish oil high in EPA and DHA. My omega6:3 ratio is around 2 now :)
A few months ago I started with Natto kinase, now I'm on Lumbrokinase, I hope it'll be effective against plaque.
NAC and MELATONIN, Taurine and Glycine.
It's a lot, but thank God am only on Losartan as a drug.
I hope I'll have a CAC again and I can then lower on supplements when I'm happy with the score.

My trigylcerides are 55, LDL 95, total cholesterol 162 but my BUN/Creatinine was elevated and glucose 89. This is 4 months post ketovore. Not sure what those mean. HDL went up from 38 to 58. My BUN is on the higher end and uric acid went up from 3.8 to 4.4

Lately I have been feeling fatigued and depleted so I added a little bit of starch. I workout too. Im a 36 y/o female. Do I just need to increase my fat? I have hashimotos as well. I dont want to overdue the protein if thats why my BUN/Creatinine ratio is high.
So, my hdl at last count was 95. My triglycerides were within range, LDL was high but down from last year, total cholesterol slightly high. I'm 63, have a pretty healthy diet, exercise, weights...but also have Hashimotos/hypothyroidism. I'm considered "prediabetic" too. Would love to believe my nice high HDL number was a good thing but have a sense I'm not winning the battle. (To...live forever?)
I dream of a day when I am a lean mass hyper responder. LMHRs have high HDL, high LDL and low triglycerides, which I believe is the state humans are supposed to be in.
I am working on this goal by becoming lean from a very unlean state.
I became that, meaning lean and LMHR numbers. I did not feel energetic though, so now I cut out fish oil in addition to seed oils and eat 20-40g of carbs from white rice or potatoes a day.
I am a lean guy, 5'7 130 lbs., but wasn't LMHR after doing ketovore. My LDL actually dropped from 105 mg/dL down to 94 mg/dL, my HDL increased from 46 mg/dL to 79 mg/dL, and my triglycerides slightly decreased from 67 mg/dL to 63 mg/dL.

Your hypothesis is almost correct doc but doesn't apply to everyone. My hdl is low yet ldo always low too without statin. My hscrp is always below 1!

Question ... what about high HDL, high LDL *and* high TG? On strict carnivore, my TG went from 110 to 380! hsCRP and ferritin were also both high (10.5 and 1200+)
Over the past six months I developed xanthoma throughout my hands and xanthelasma on my eyelids. (The formation of xanthoma really kicked into high gear in late April - it's now very uncomfortable to do any work with my hands without gloves as anything I pickup hits a xantoma deposit and it hurts). Also wresting with pruritus for the past 8 weeks.
I've taken the approach that this is an extreme case of insulin suppression gone on too long based on my habit of eating a large meal of protein and fat taken once a day, greatly in excess of what the body needed - in particularly as I was not exercising much at all.
SInce then, I've added sardines and fish oils, split my meals into smaller ones (and am simply working to eat less overall as well), added exercise (fast walks of 3-9 miles) and even hit of something insulin stimulating from time to time with the hope of pulling the excess energy (TG) from the blood and into fat cells.
After three weeks of that, my follow up tests showed TG down to 150. hs CRP down to 3.5, ferritin down to 750.
However, the pruritus continues and I feel like the xanthoma are continuing to build.
I"m due for another set of blood tests to see where I currently stand.
Looking to see if I am on the right course and hoping for any tips or suggestions before my consult in October. Right now the pruritus is the day to day villain. Other than the pruritus, I don't have any symptoms of a biliary blockage (no pain, nausea, vomiting or fever, no jaundice) so, lacking other information, I'm operating with the thought that I've induced a condition of "nutritional hepatitis" based on the inflammatory effects of too much protein in an insulin suppressed state. Can I have taken in so much excess protein and nutrients that I inflamed my liver and impaired its bile handling?

In May, when TGs were 150, A1c was 5.3. I hit hard with some carbs for about a week, then dialed back again.

But, but, but, what steps should I take to lower my inflamatory environment and thus raise HDL? I have been reading a lot for 6 months now and I am guessing the advice is removing inflamatory foods from my diet and doing intermittent fasting, but I'd like to hear you say it. I am cobbling advise together since I cannot count on my cardio nurse (post LAD stent) to give any advice but "take your statins".

Don't think it is a magic bullet like a statin is to LDL. Niacin in a healthy person may (or may not) help generate HDL. Niacin in someone with metabolic syndrome is likely to not do anything.

Anytime one loses a significant amount of weight in a relatively short timeframe, hair loss is to be expected. It should correct itself with time.

I wonder why men usually have lower HDL than women. As a woman, mine has always been great (4 years ago it was 109, currently 87). As you can see, it has gone down a tad in recent years, but I'm 65 yo. I have observed that men of all ages have lower levels in general. Studies have shown it's not hormone related, but why then? 🧐

Been on Carnivore 3 months and shocked to see my Tryglicerides shot up from 79 to 167 and LDL from 190 to 565. HDL went up from 59 to 71. I did not expect my Tryglicerides and LDL to increase. I am 50, 139 lbs and 4% body fat. Lift weights and 25K-30K steps a day. I eat 80/20 hamburger, 4 oz chucke eye, chicken wings, 4 oz salmon, 9 eggs and 6 tablespoons of butter a day. I did do a lot of cardio that morning before my fasting bloodwork. Also, I do bake on Saturdays with Erythritol. Don't know what caused the increase. Should I retake my blood work?
I found a source that says no extreme exercise for 3 days prior to blood work. Perhaps try to find sources of what to avoid prior to bloodwork that can skew your results. I do resistance training 2 times a week, and my blood glucose is always elevated for a couple hours after my work out. Normal morning fasting BG is 95. after exercise it spikes up 20 points. This might have effects on lipo proteins as well.

So I have a question. I was diagnosed with high cholesterol years ago and was told I should take statins. I refused the statins. However I wonder if high cholesterol has anything to do with lipodema... I developed a big fatty lump " lipodema " on my back, between my armpit region and upper shoulder blade, just next to my armpit and it's getting bigger. It's almost the size of a golf ball. I also have a smaller one on my " jawline" . Are these fatty lumps related to high cholesterol and am I able to naturally get rid of them? Shrink them through ( exercise ) and perhaps fasting ?
My hubby has one on the back of his neck. When he eats more like I do (zero to low carbohydrate) over a few weeks it actually gets smaller. For awhile it was totally gone 😮 but when he is at work he makes different nourishment choices than when he is at home… fried foods, frozen coffee drinks, sandwiches and burgers with the bun and all. So for him, that’s when it all changes… refined carbs, added sugars, and seed oils. He also tells me how terrible he feels after a couple days. 😢 he’s getting more conscious of what he feeds himself now and has decided on his own what not to put in his body. Hope that helps in some way.

Slowly get off trt. Zero alcohol, and resistance training. I don't have a gym but use kitty litter buckets as weights. Also go slowly up and down steps w a bucket in each hand. Don't overdo the weights: one good session every 3 days ok.
Erections like magic came back as I started drinking smoothies I made in my kitchen w beet juice. Just over 1/3 beet per day. I blend 3 beets at a time and store that in 2 32oz mason jars. Lasts just over a week. Good luck.
My HDL is stuck at between 70 and 77. TGs between 35 and 43 with LDL between 200 and 250. I am almost a LMHR, adding carbs

HDL has been injected directly on an experimental basis, but was found to be ineffective. Of course, a single study can yield anomalous results, and maybe endogenous HDL works differently from exogenous LDL.
