      Yes these are two different chemical mixtures the one is compatible with all other makes models and coolant colors that's the one I personally run in my vehicles in the intercooler fluid I like it because it's biodegradable and also won't hurt animals low toxicity in a needs and exceeds all the 18-wheeler specifications which will protect your water pump and gaskets better you can mix it to the ratio you like if you live in the extreme cold.
      If you ever want to try it you will be very impressed I also recommend the Dominator coolant boost additive try tiered surfactant will make a huge difference💯🇺🇸

    Bought the coolant boost was able to get a warm up time test the day before it showed up it took roughly 13 and a half minutes to reach 210 F after putting the boost in and having a 4 degree colder morning it only took around 7 minutes to hit 210 F very impressed

    • @Syntheticoilprotection

      Wow that's really a big increase considering most likely you're running 50/50.
      When you run more distilled water you can actually use more the boost and it'll even warm up faster.
      That is a tremendous bump Thank you for sharing that with the channel 💯😊😃

    Amsoil froze and the other didn’t. Why use Amsoil if it freezes?

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question Tony the benefits are with this particular product it's called Low toxicity so just in case you'd have a leak in your cooling system if a dog of where to lick it up it wouldn't damage its organs like conventional coolant it tastes sweet the animals and it can actually rupture some of their organs also not only is it more of a environmentally friendly it's also a concentrate so you can mix it to the ratio you want the other great benefit is it's a long life formula so it lasts quite a bit longer than other coolants on the market it meets and exceeds the 18-wheeler specifications pack car Cummins John Deere those are the hardest to meet and they also have anti-cavitation qualities which keeps the aluminum from pitting also protects the gaskets and seals so it's quite a long list what you're seeing in the video is a certain mix ratio you can mix it to any ratio you want if you want it to be cooler however if you want a more lean ratio with higher distilled water you have a higher specific heat capacity which gives you the ability to pull more heat out of the motor I personally run a ratio of 33% concentrate 66% distilled water in my personal car and I see quite a bit of improvement in performance.
      This link here will give you a lot of great info on the product I highly recommend it I use it in all my personal vehicles and have used it on many vehicles on the channel which you'll see under the playlist of coolant system you'll see that on the main page when you use my link that will allow me to be your independent Amsoil Dealer I can answer your questions in the future in the products when you use my link and if you're new you would definitely want the 6-month PC membership will give you the very best value on the products!

    What was the film on top of the amsoil? Does the dominator coolant boost help clean dirty cooling systems?

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The film on top was most likely a frozen patch when the freezer kicks on it blows cold air very hard inside and that air is probably negative 100° C so the skin on top froze.
      Yes the dominator coolant boost is an additive that helps with your gaskets It helps keep everything clean and helps from corrosion It is not a cleaner but it is a maintainer and will help your system stay cleaner longer.
      Also it has to be replenished the chemical breaks down so it's good for one year 30,000 mi and it's good to add a little bit more over the course of the year that way you have your better surfactant keeping the water molecules closer to the aluminum better heat transfer

      Most likely they put the wrong fluid in the component.
      There's about four or five different transmission fluid types This video goes through all the different fluids.

    • @Syntheticoilprotection

      That's a great question Justin what I always do is I always double and triple check the total fill capacity once I have the total fill capacity confirmed then after I do my final drain and fill to make sure I got most of the old coolant out then I make sure that I put the concentrate in first making sure it's 60% of the total capacity and then I top it off with the distilled water

    What's the purpose of cold flow test for coolant? I see no point at all. Engines take several minutes to heat up. The cylinders are surrounded by water jackets anyways so it doesn't even matter if the coolant doesn't flow immediately.

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question Aaron the point is to see the way the fluids flow at cold temperatures see the way they warm up and what it physically looks like when it freezes.
      The thing I found interesting is the coolant that is made by Amsoil the low toxicity coolant is still very spongy even when it's frozen and it seems as though it would not crack the block at the ratio that I mixed it at however you can still have overheating issues if it didn't circulate and I'm sure other problems so you definitely don't want it to freeze LOL

      For me, I live in the New England region and even though it gets pretty cold, any coolant can comfortably handle the winter temperatures here. I would be far more interested in the corrosion inhibiting properties of the different coolant brands.

    • @Syntheticoilprotection

      Awesome Aaron yes you can do any mixed ratio you want to have protection at basically any temperatures you'll see that on the product description under Amsoil low toxicity biodegradable coolant the white bottle that's the one I personally use in my vehicles you'll see a lot of other great tests here with the link but yes you also see the Corrosion Protection under the product you'll see full technical datable within it gets into the full specifications and meats and it'll also go into your corrosion.

    Why do you always use the low toxicity instead of the black container coolant?

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Because it is the better coolant it has the low toxicity characteristics which I like it has very little smell to it and it has a really nice rich color to it and ever since I started using it I got hooked on it I switched all my vehicles over and they always run better also it meets and exceeds all the major 18 wheeler specifications which are the hardest to meet That's the hardest specification because 18 wheelers are diesel and turbo and they're extremely hot running.
      Also the Amsoil low toxicity battery will coolant is compatible with all your major makes models and colors and it's a great go-to which you have great control because you can mix it to the exact ratio you want for instance here in Las Vegas I don't need the cold flow protection so I personally run 33% concentrate 66% distilled water and that gives me a much higher specific heat capacity which allows the motor to run cooler in high temperatures.
      I absolutely love the low toxicity biodegradable coolant 💯
      It holds up unbelievably well I have a four-year video on the Lexus GS 350 which you'll see about six videos back on the channel and you'll see what the coolant looks like after four years it looks absolutely amazing.
      Also that's with the extremely high heat out here in Las Vegas which oxidizes much quicker because of the 110° summer days all summer

      Yes the hardcore chemicals are quite a bit better at certain things where the Amsoil is a little bit better at keeping the pitting and aluminum down which is very important and that's the great part is it meets and exceeds the 18-wheeler specification which is the toughest to meet with the highest heat and oxidation.
      If you are in a very cold area you can always treat with a little higher ratio and that way you'll always be good 😃👍🪙

      Oh yeah definitely a good off the shelf coolant however Amsoil offers some great benefits because it's low toxicity biodegradable won't hurt the environment like others also it meets and exceeds all the 18-wheeler specifications which are the toughest to meet because of the high heat and it has the long life formulation which you can mix to the ratio you want which is a great benefit also has proprietary additives that keep from cavitation so your cylinder liners will last longer inside the block keeping it from pitting the aluminum👍
      Personally that's the only coolant I will run in my car also it doesn't have that icky smell and the gaskets will last longer because you'll have less corrosion you just want to make sure you mix it with distilled water👍
      I also couple with it the Dominator coolant boost the orange bottle and make a huge difference if you ever want to try it this is my personal link will give you the very best value on the products and when you use that link I'll always be able to answer your questions in the future about improving the performance and lifespan of your vehicles by choosing the right Foods as your independent Amsoil dealer💯👍😃

    Nice show, always a pleasure to watch 🤗 - but by the way, this coolant boost would make up for a good snake oil as well, if required?

      I don't understand your question

      The Coolant Boost isnt snake oil. It really, really works. Time how long it takes your vehicle to get to running temperature. Pour in the prescribed amount of the Amsoil Dominator Coolant Boost, let your vehicle cool down over night, then time how long it takes to get to running temperature. It will be shorter 20-50% faster. My brothers F250 oil temp went from 218F avg to 204F avg. Product works.

    you want deionized water, not distilled.

      Distilled water has no calcium and mineral deposits that's what you want in your coolant system so you avoid any type of metallic issues down the road

    In other words, Amsoil should stick to oil.

      @@Syntheticoilprotection The Prestone sure did seem to perform better.

      Yes in cold flow it is a very strong chemical and it did stay more fluid.
      The great thing about themselves is it has cavitation protection which protects the internals of motors also extends the life of the water pump you'll see the full technical bulletin on the product when you click on the link on the website you'll see see full technical bulletin and you'll see all the specifications.

      Oh the quality is superior with the Amsoil concentrate that can be ran at different ratios if you are looking for a certain performance level like on my personal car I run a lot more distilled water for a higher specific heat capacity so it allows you to adjust the ratio also VMS oil is a big upgrade in the smell of it it's not a harsher chemical like the other ones and it meets and exceeds the 18-wheeler specifications Cummins packed car Peterbilt a lot of the big names and that is the hardest spec to meet which holds the most heat it lasts longer so it's still a superior product the point is just to show mix ratio and how strong of a chemical the oems are those chemicals do oxidize quicker and that's what breaks down your gaskets so I wanted to show how the chemicals look different in the way they flow at different temperature has nothing to do with proving something's better the one is clearly a better product as it meets higher specifications👍
