I like how the English guy from Hampshire still gets English subtitles.

Australian gardens have footpaths and a nature strip to mow.
    1. Can the mower handle public areas and narrow 1 metre wide footpaths (with a street light in the middle)?
    2. Perhaps making the nature strip not a separate area, would increase the mowers area but it would be crossing the footpath a lot.
    3. Any public liability issues?
    4. Any experts to assist/advice the lost consumer for optimal boundary and guide wire please? The local Husqvarna shop said the garden image is too complex with 5 areas and lots of narrow corridors (1 metre minimum).

I find a few faults + unmentioned/unanswered concerns in this video:
    1. No example is shown of the automower actually cutting grass. All the grass seems to already be mowed.
    2. Can the automower be programmed to stop at the edge of your property (if your property line is open to neighboring yards)?
    3. Is it economical? Such a small cutting surface indicates that it would take the automower a long time to mow even a medium size yard therefore hinting that many visits to its dock to recharge are necessary and raises concern for electricity usage.
    4. What is its life expectancy? At the price, we do not want to have to find that it needs full replacement after only just 3 years.

Here is some of the information that I found when I was planning to get my first automower.
      1. Since it's working day and night, the grass is always perfectly mowed. The robot only takes a tiny cut each pass. If the grass is long it starts with a different working pattern until everything has been cut, then goes back to normal. You don't send it out once a week like a manual mower.
      2. It stops where you lay down the boundary wire hidden in the grass. Or with the collision sensor.
      3. Depending on the size of the lawn, it will charge and cut continuously meaning a lot of running hours each year. But the average power consumption is low, perhaps equivalent to leaving 1 light bulb on day and night.
      4. I sometimes see first generation (1999-2002) automowers still in use. It might need a new wheel motor or battery after 3 years but these robots last for a long time.
      Hope this helps.

Thank you very much. This answers many of my questions. Perhaps in the near future I may make a visit to a Husqvarna store. Also, if you don't mind me asking, where do you live (US, UK, other...)?

+A EX Also, other unmentionned/unanswered question.
      5. Can it avoid falling of cliff?
      6. Can it handle bumpy terrain? (Sometime heavy rain can drag earth underneath grass in the slope leaving the terrain very bumpy)

The mower will not detect a cliff by itself. You have to put down a boundary wire to limit the work area.
It does not handle big bumps, the lawn have to be pretty smooth. Slopes are fine but no mud. It can't turn in a slope so the boundary wire have to be on a flat surface a few feet below the slope. If your lawn ends in a slope it can't mow the slope at all.
I ended up buying an 2004 220AC and it is working on my lawn right now. 12 years old and no problems so far. I had to fill out some bumps and move the boundary wire in one slope where it was getting stuck but that's all. It runs 6 hours a day while I'm at work and the lawn looks pretty good.
