What I like the most is that the filling actually match the taste they have in the games! Blue poffins are supposed to be dry so the starchy sweet potato filling is perfect, green is bitter like matcha, yuzu is sour so fits well with the yellow sour poffin, and of course strawberry fits the sweet pink poffins. Good job!
I've been here since the Sea Salt Icecream from Kingdom Hearts, my friend introduced me to this channel back in 7th grade. We tried making them but added too much salt, our popsicle sticks were not food-safe (they had some dye that rubbed off onto them), but we got the colour right 😂. Happy 10 year anniversary, keep up the good work !! ❤️
If you haven't done it yet I would love to see the "Rage Candy Bar" from GSC and HGSS in real life! It's based on manju but, the English translation totally changed the name so there's a lot of creativity with what you make it look like since in games only the box is shown while in the anime and manga it's obviously manju.
I havent watched feast of fiction in a hot minute and i was literally just thinking about how this Jimmy guy's voice seemed so familiar... AND THEN I REALIZED--
10 years later and you're still kicking butt! Always a pleasure to see your recipes! The Tiana's Gumbo is without a doubt a family favorite, and I owe it all to you folk! Thanks for continuously making awesome recipes, and continuing to inspire my culinary ideas! I've been watching you folks since the beginning, and you folks just get better and better with each video! The cookbook was something I just HAD to get my hands on, and thank you once again for the signed copy! Love you folks! Hopefully one day you folks make the Chocolate Bomb or Chocolate Saturday from RuneScape!
Wow! I haven't been subscribed the whole time, but I'm pretty sure I've been following you guys for at least 9 of those 10 years now! I was still a college student back then, and now I'm a fully fledged working adult. It's amazing to see just how far you guys have come, and how fast time has flown. I'm so happy for the success you guys have found, and the joy you've brought with your videos. I hope you'll continue to have many more wonderful years, whether it's with this channel or any of your other pursuits in life!
Omg this is such a throw back, I remember being 12 and watching your first poffin recipe and being hooked on your channel for years, I had no idea you guys were still going. Amazing :') so much nostalgia rn
These look amazing! If I were to make these, I’d probably replace the fillings with berry jellies and jams, considering they’re made in the game with berries. But these are still so amazing! 😍
I’ve been watching you guys for about 5 years but have been subscribed for about 3 or 4. I seriously regret not being with you guys for all 10, but I would have been 14 when I started and I have not been a TH-cam addict until I was maybe 17 or 16 max. Seriously good content and keep up the good work
So we have cute, beautiful, clever, and tough poffins with their own fillings Now I'm just waiting for a cool poffin that has wasabi filling in it Jokes aside, 10 years of cooking is quite the accomplishment, I hope you continue on in the future!
10 Years? It's really been that long? Jeez I feel like a part of this, and I'm feeling quite glad that I was. You two helped inspire me to cook more back then and it has since become a beloved hobby.
Dang this is crazy how much their baking skills have improved; I remember watching the first poffin video back when it came out and this is very nostalgic somehow
You guys are awesome. Seriously, I’m happy for you managing this for over 10 years. I may not like every recipe I see (only because some foods don’t appeal to my tastes) but I respect the passion and fun you show in every episode I’ve watched. Plus, I also respect your creativity and willingness to improve and try new approaches to ensuring the best results. I’ll have to get this cookbook for Christmas. It looks like a perfect gift.
I was there in the early days! The Dragon Size Dumplings was my favorite! I had to save my money to buy all the materials when it first came out. I was in college at the time. Still one of my favorite meals to cook!
I can't believe it's been ten years since you guys did the first poffin video, I remember watching that and finding this channel for the first time, I actually made the Gotcha pork roast once for my family.
i dunno if i've been subscribed the whole ten years, but i've been here watching you guys churn out delicious foods since almost the beginning! it's so crazy to think it's been a whole decade! I'm excited to try these myself :)
To this day I still sing your version of Bacon Pancakes anytime I am cooking. Y'all are so amazing and thank you for making so much amazing food and content!
Congratulations for the 10 years of deliciousness and here's to another 10 years! These Poffins look great and they taste even greater! Shoutout to Producer Kelly!
Wow, it’s crazy that you’ve been doing this for nearly a decade, keep up the good work! I think you should revisit the Fish Fingers and Custard dish from Doctor Who. I made them and they turned out really good, but I’m curious to see if they can turn out any better. Also, a new recipe that’d be pretty cool to see would be Pizza Puffs from Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Years ago I watched your old Pokemon poffin video the end result left me underwhelmed. Glad you tackled this one again, looks more appealing. I'm drawn to pink strawberry ones. Might make the yellow ones but research a vanilla banana cream filling instead.
I had no idea you guys were still making videos! I had started watching y'all when I was 15 (25 now) Y'all have no idea how much you helped me back then, just by posting your videos Back subscribed now that I know you're still here 😁
Oh wow, has it really been ten years? :D Let's take a moment to appreciate how far every single one of us has come in that time! 🤗 Be it cooking, baking, or whatever else - we've all improved and learned since those days. Cheers! 🥂
okay so like these look great and I'm sure they tasted wonderful but this is at the near top of the search results and I just wanted a guide on how to make a level 100 mild poffin.
Once again these look amazing. I miss your show so much. I got your cookbook a while back! Kinda wish it had more but been thinking of collecting and printing out all your recipes from episodes for now.
I think I HAVE been here for all 10 years, geez louise didn't realize it's really been so long. I remember being stoked about the original Poffin vid fresh out of high school and finally having my own laptop you were one of the first few channels I ever followed. :') Smash Mouth was right, the years start coming and they dont stop coming lol.
I’ve been with you two since Minecraft Cake! It’s been an amazing journey and I hope that it keeps going strong! Enjoy your feast of fiction Ashley and Jimmy!
Wow 10 years. Been here with you 8 out the 10. XD you guys are awesome!!! both of you are the reason why I make my own snacks. Love your recipe book definitely used two recipes just for Thanksgiving. Please continue being great and hope this channel gets to another decade. I hope both of you continue to prosper. :)
Couple questions: 1) How many servings of the matcha filling do you get, and 2) If it's only one serving, is there something else you can use besides white bean paste for the matcha filling? I did the math and for one matcha poffin (assuming the recipe only gives enough for one) it's about $6.73 and the majority of that comes from the white bean paste ($3.94 for 200g out of a $6.90 bag of 350g)
Your poffin video from years ago is how I first found you & this poffin video is what lead me to find you again, I watched it like around 2013 because I was binging the Pokemon series at the time, I wanted to go back & revisit it & I continued on past where I cut off & watching them make poffins in the anime made me want to try some for myself, I forget which youtube account I used when I watched it but I know it wasn't this one because I subscribed to you after watching it. I honestly never made them because I fell down a rabbit whole of watching various recipe videos. Anyways, I started using this account again & I wasn't subbed to you on it so I hadn't seen your videos in years & then this popped up in my recommended, funny how these things happen.
I still can't believe I missed one of your uploads. That totally bites! Regardless, it's awesome that you remade one of your older recipes. I can't wait for you to we make another classic recipe of yours. Speaking of Pokémon themed recipes, I'm still waiting on you guys to make recipes for Max Candy and Exp Candy from Pokémon Sword and Shield and Poké Beans from Pokémon Sun and Moon.
Oh my god. 10 years. Don't remember if I started all the way back, but I've certainly have been following you guys for most of that time. And unfortunately I'm the guy who goes "oh, this look good, I should totally try to do that" only to never do it. I swear to god I'll make those sea salt ice creams someday.
I remember when the original recipe video came out! I was so excited that someone was able to make such a cool looking food from one of of my favorite games at the time! I miss being apart of the patreon fam, but hope to be back soon!
I've followed Jimmy on The Command Zone for almost 8 years now and am only just learning about this channel. I feel like next, I'm going to learn that Josh shares an anime themed fitness channel with someone, where they show you absurd workouts derived from anime that actually work and are based around real regiments from around the world. "This is the Guts sword swing regiment that builds core stability and shoulder strength. It's based on the popular Indian club workout..."

That was EXACTLY my vision coming up with these flavor choices to the colors. Thank you for recognizing it! ✨

@@jellylife410 thank YOU for being so attentive and for making such wonderful recipes!! i cant wait to make them myself 💕💕💕
that was my thoughts (Except I probably would've added a little bit of coffee Liqueur to the bitter poffin for a punchy, adult sweet treat
Pepper would be perfect for the spicy red one. Granny smith applesause would also be great for the sour yellow one.
Use custard instead of cream for the strawberry and yuzu filling, freeze them, and you can stuff the dough with them before baking.
A brilliant idea, we love it! :D

I can’t wait to make this. And thank you too; because my cousin has an egg allergy. I want to do something fun with them and yay! It’s Pokémon!
Ayo! That was rainbow [[PIPIS]]!!!

Could probably do a Mexican chocolate filling for a cool poffin. It has a spicy kick due to chili mixed into the chocolate.

I remember the original puffins video. I was so excited to see them! This looks so much better, it's amazing!

No way, 10 years?! Thats unbelievable I'm so proud of you guys! I thought this channel was 5 years old tbh lol
