The 5 you saw her going up to is her 5th album 1989, so a little back story she, so far, has 13 albums (3 re-recorded) shes re-recording because, when she was 14 or 15, she made a deal with her record team, that the first 6 albums she will make (Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak now, RED, 1989, and reputation) will be owned by them, fast forward in years time she has made her 6 albums, and her record label sold them to a person named Scooter Braun for 300m , meaning that all the stream money will go to him, so taylor deicided to Re-record them so she can own her music again, so far she has re-recorder Fearless, Red, Speak Now, and announced 1989(Taylor’s version) so there was actually a lot of easter eggs for Speak now (Taylor’s Version) Like at the start in the background her song "Enchanted was playing" Her stepmother said "Speak NOT" at the end her song "Long live" was playing and more, so she gave us kinda a sign going from 3 purple (her 3rd album wich is speak now that she announced next) and going to 5th blue ( wich was fro 1989 Taylor’s version wich was her 5th album wich will be released octobor 27!
That part of slow motion that you commented that you found strange, here in Brazil in soap operas, and I used a lot of these effects in some types of scenes, for example, dances and the like. since the video is set in a different era, I believe they did this on purpose.
a lot of people haven't figured it out but this is why most of the break up songs on TTPD are about Matty Healy and not Joe Alwyn. She had already documented the sadness in her songs. The relationship started breaking down during Midnight. This is the warning shot about Joe and there are a few more.
Love that Enchanted plays in the beginning scene and Long Live is at the end scene. Also Prince Jack is Jack Antonoff, who she collaborates with on a lot of her music.
the floor 3 in the first elevator was an Easter egg for speak now (Taylor's version (tv)) because it's her 3rd album, and the album cover is purple. The button with a blue 5 later is hinting at 1989(Taylor's version) because it's her 5th album and is represented with blue in lots of photoshoots. There being 3 stepsisters is an Easter egg for speak now tv. the prince at the end is jack antanoff, her producer and songwriter best friend. One speak now tv Easter egg was the stepmother saying 'speak not', and a 1989 tv Easter egg was the girl dancing with Taylor in the wineglasses' hair- that specific hairstyle and color is seen in the wildest dreams music video. Another speak now tv Easter egg is the balcony at the end, which is similar to something she stood in during the speak now world tour.
the girls playing the step-sisters are actually close friends of her. they are also musical artists called the HAIM Sisters. They have featured on her songs and taylors featured on theirs too. and the famous lady playing the steo mother is oscar winner laura dern.
Your comments are so so interesting!! I feel like learning new things every time I watch your videos! From Taylor Swift, you should do her Lover MV and Blank Space MV (which are older but very interesting) and the All Too Well Short Film as well, which was directed by her
Always nice to have Dita von Teese, Godess of Burlesque ,as your fairy godmother in your video. Love your videos and the approach you take. This video should be viewed with an experienced Swiftie next to you.
My 2 cents, without the easter egg clues, as I am not good at those, but based on what I understand from reading interviews given by people in the video. This is, of course, a Cinderella video. Many (not all) characters in the video are "cinderella" people in Taylor's life or in the music industry, in that they are either behind the scenes or don't get the same level of dazzle as Taylor-and hence don't get to "shine". She bejewels them by highlighting them. She includes: her friends the Haim sisters and their song "I'm gonna be hungover"; her friend and producer Jack Atanoff as a Prince; Her makeup artist Pat MaGrath as a Queen; pictures of Zoe Kravitz and Sam Dew are on the wall, and they have co-written songs with Taylor; Dita von Teese has been in other artists' music videos almost as a prop, and her image is included in the boards people make for planning their music videos. This time she is not a theme but a person as a very different fairy godmother who trains Taylor for the talent competition using her most famous burlesque martini number-and her pupil wins the contest and the castle Taylor covets. I really learn from your commentary, thank you
To be fair, she just started working with Mother Pat around this time. (And what a fabulous collaboration it was!) So it’s probably just about putting a spotlight on an incredibly famous person in her own right, there.
I always knew that the dragons were an easter egg for her song Long Live, but I didn't realize until watching this that the trumpets are actually playing Long Live! :o
When you said ~14:30 it looks jittery I went 🤦🏻♀️- dancestyle of her performance is jitterbug style- I would have never noticed/figured out that. So cool thank you
First she went to floor 3. The next album announced was a remake if the third album. Them floor five. The album next announced is a remake of her fith album.
In the background of the first scene, the orchestra is playing a rendition of her song "Enchanted," which is on her album Speak Now. Another easter egg!
I’ll make a suggestion… you should watch some breakdowns of the videos before you watch the actual video. Because not only are you missing background and plot but you’re missing Easter eggs left and right. And it’s killing me! 😂
The 'ugly sisters', her good mates haim, who actually sung that im gonna be hungover before the oscars. The burlesque dancing fairy godmother Dita Von Teese The prince- Jack antonoff, one of her long term friends & music producers The lift: Yes its an easter egg, shes rerecording her first 6 albums after her masters were sold under her. This video was the riddled with easter eggs to indicate speak now (she pressed 3 then 5 indicating speak now then 1989 are next -now confirmed)
She first pushed the 3rd floor; which was teasing the re-release of her third album Speak Now, then she later arrived at the 5th floor, which teased the re-release of her 5th album 1989
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought the slo mo with the dancers fanning her and her smiling. It was a quick transition to a too very slow motion shot that didn’t flow well and just looked weird. And no one knew what I was talking about until they analyzed it. Which makes me think I noticed something that is not common to others or I wasn’t supposed to notice it
Not you pointing out the easter I think no one thought of before: Sparks Fly! hahah nice "my dude". I really love how much fun you're having doing these reactions ^^ it's contagious. I'll ramble about the song a bit, if you're on the mood. This one grew quite a bit on me. The content and sound are kind of mixed because she delievers it in a a very perky way. But the song is very likely to be about how Joe Alwyn wanted to enforce an extreme no visibilty thing on their relationship and beyond it. And Taylor is a damn star that loves "sparkling" and so that relatioship ended. The interesting part is that right from the beginning there's a very dark bass underneath the melody that underscores that darker theme. That added level of tone to the song really made me like it even more once I noticed it. That and lyrics of course. It's always lyrics with Taylor.
You are really amazing at this! Just came across your channel and now I can’t stop watching videos. Wildest Dreams reaction/break down was really interesting. I had no idea there were so many components. I don’t know if you know this but Taylor recently started directing her videos so if you notice a different in terms of the videography structure, that’s probably why. I look forward to watching your future videos. Keep it up, you have amazing charisma. Idk if you have already, but Ready for it is a really nice video to react to, as well as I don’t want to live forever - it’s very lighting technical.
13:42 I literally observed that too! the moment that scene came, I was kind of confused about it because it does look odd. I wonder why they kept it in slowmo when they knew the the fps wasn't gonna work for that slowmo shot.
Honestly there are too many Easter eggs to count in this video, Taylor even said it herself that they had to keep it all in a file bc there is so many. But at the beginning it’s the instrumental of enchanted and at the end it’s instrumental of long live
The prince is played by Jack Antonoff, her good friend and co-writer on a number of her songs. I think the reason you might be having trouble with the song (and easter eggs) is that you're concentrating on the making of the video, obviously, and her videos are pretty intricate so you have to concentrate on that. The song is actually really catchy, and yes, it's about a relationship where the partner is no longer treasuring you, and you say, "Ya know, I can still walk in a room and make the whole place shimmer.I'm going out tonight."
This was fun! And I found more Easter eggs in the intro "Yes, mom" reminiscent of "Yes, whale!" "Weasel" someone once commented that she looked like a weasel that got hit by a truck and stitched back together by a drunk taxidermist 😶 "Clean" is a song "Snake" the name Kim K called Taylor, which she subsequently made the theme of her next album Reputation "Exile" is a song The cotton reel on the table reminds me of the thread in her cardigan music video Then when she goes to the 5th floor she has a faux bob like during her 1989 era. Then she goes to the 13th floor (her lucky number) Mr Video Editor have you been inspired to start putting Easter Eggs in your videos? 👀
Bejeweled, at least my interpretation, is a song about Joe Alwyn who she was with 6 or 7 years. They broke up in my opinion before she released this and Joe is a very private person who couldn’t handle all the attention. She knew she was going to announce the eras tour and the line I miss you but I miss sparkling is a nod to the fact she misses being public and performing
So a fun Easter egg, during the opening scene with the stepsisters the background music is playing "Enchanted," and at the end is playing "Long Live," two songs from the album Speak Now, which was her next re-record that was being teased here. There are a few other nods to the album throughout, like the elevator button being a purple 3
nobody noticed the fact that she goes to floor 3 that is colour purple? that means speak now tv, then she goes to floor 5 that is colour green-blue (representative colour of 1989) and her album number five is 1989? 1989 tv soon!!
I know this is unsolicited advice, so please ignore me and forgive me if I’m overstepping. But each Taylor Swift video or Harry Styles, or anyone with a big fan base… You should plug one or two previous videos you have done with the link in the description or at least just mentioning them. This will get people to want to either subscribe, to go back and watch them later, or to immediately go find the next video after they’re done watching this one they are currently on.
In order to fully understand you’d have to listen to everything including the non music videos. And like have a swiftie give you a full story of her life and stuff up until one point. Could be a fun video idea!
I really love the fact that you don’t know Taylor Swift well when you review her videos. It’s fun to get your perspective as someone who is not only professionally commenting on the video production, but also who is watching/discovering the video for the first time. Wouldn’t be the same if you did a bunch of research on TS in advance. Great work!
Floor 5 could also be that track 5 on her albums is always an emotional song 😊 And this is up tempo, but still about a very emotional place of mind. She’s picking herself up ❤ IMHO this song scream Calvin Harris. He wasn’t all that good at being supportive and proud of her.

Your videos are so good and professional, I immidiately thought it's a really big channel, and then was surprised to see you've just recently started. Looking forward to seeing you go viral, the quality is already there!
Thank you so much!! I appreciate that! Thank you for the kind words!
@@Videoeditorreacts swifties will jump on board and happily answer ANY questions you might have about her videos.
You subconsciously discovered an Easter egg I didn’t even know about 15:57 😂😂 This video has a lot of Easter eggs for her next re-recorded album, Speak Now including a song called Sparks Fly, which you mentioned she had flying around her at that time stamp!
Mindblown
Woa, wups! I mean... I meant to point that out for that specific reason... LOL Good call out!!
Hi, I am a swiftie who recently found your channel and is already absolutely in love with it. From the editing, lighting and your analysis. I wish your channel all the best, and judging by the fact that I was among the 400-mark subscribers and there are now over 500, that seems to be already happening! May I suggest Look What You Made Me Do or Out of The Woods as your next Taylor's reaction? Besides that, I am very excited for you to dive into other artists' videography as well!
Thank you so much for watching and the suggestions Joi!! I am so excited that so many people are sharing this interest with me. I am so fortunate to have such an amazing following! It means the world to me!
@@Videoeditorreacts Don't mention it, you deserve it all! Turns out I'm very interested in editing myself, so it's not only fun but also pretty fascinating to watch your content!
Me to I love it. I think this channel will grow really fast
Thank you Cat! I appreciate it!
The HAIM sisters and the whole begining really slay
Comedic gold
The I'm gonna be hungover song is so catchy everytime i watch the mv i cannot get it out of my head
i’ve been binge watching ur whole channel and i love all of your comments. i’m learning so much! as a swiftie i’m excited for you to see cardigan and all too well 😁😁 my two favs
Thank you so much! I’m so happy you enjoy the content!! And I’m also super excited to do those two! I’ve only heard good things!
The fact that Tay wrote and directed the entire vid is mind blowing
The 5 you saw her going up to is her 5th album 1989, so a little back story she, so far, has 13 albums (3 re-recorded) shes re-recording because, when she was 14 or 15, she made a deal with her record team, that the first 6 albums she will make (Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak now, RED, 1989, and reputation) will be owned by them, fast forward in years time she has made her 6 albums, and her record label sold them to a person named Scooter Braun for 300m , meaning that all the stream money will go to him, so taylor deicided to Re-record them so she can own her music again, so far she has re-recorder Fearless, Red, Speak Now, and announced 1989(Taylor’s version) so there was actually a lot of easter eggs for Speak now (Taylor’s Version) Like at the start in the background her song "Enchanted was playing" Her stepmother said "Speak NOT" at the end her song "Long live" was playing and more, so she gave us kinda a sign going from 3 purple (her 3rd album wich is speak now that she announced next) and going to 5th blue ( wich was fro 1989 Taylor’s version wich was her 5th album wich will be released octobor 27!
i recommend music videos for "Wildest Dreams" & "Out of the Woods" & "Blank Space" from Taylor
And ready for it
That part of slow motion that you commented that you found strange, here in Brazil in soap operas, and I used a lot of these effects in some types of scenes, for example, dances and the like. since the video is set in a different era, I believe they did this on purpose.
a lot of people haven't figured it out but this is why most of the break up songs on TTPD are about Matty Healy and not Joe Alwyn.
What are you talking about? That was 100% filmed on site with REAL dragons 😂 16:18
The beginning of this video gives off “Stardust” vibes (the one with Claire Danes, Charlie Cox, Robert DeNiro - really hilarious). Fantastic video ❤!!
the girls playing the step-sisters are actually close friends of her. they are also musical artists called the HAIM Sisters. They have featured on her songs and taylors featured on theirs too. and the famous lady playing the steo mother is oscar winner laura dern.
Your comments are so so interesting!! I feel like learning new things every time I watch your videos! From Taylor Swift, you should do her Lover MV and Blank Space MV (which are older but very interesting) and the All Too Well Short Film as well, which was directed by her
Thank you for the suggestions and the kind words!!! I really appreciate it!
Always nice to have Dita von Teese, Godess of Burlesque ,as your fairy godmother in your video.
Love your videos and the approach you take. This video should be viewed with an experienced Swiftie next to you.
15:57 the fact that you said “sparks flying” and this scene was hinting at her rerelease of the album Speak Now which has a song called Sparks Fly 🫶🏼
I love your editing and film knowledge! such a cool perspective to add to a reaction. subscribed :)
Thank you for this amazing reaction. Keep it up. ❤
Thank you so much for watching and your support!!
Navy color-midnight blue. The album is Midnights and Cinderella is built around midnight.
we need more taylor reactions i love them!
The dragons from Long Live at the end of this was my favorite Easter egg. I loved it.
Thanks for listening thanks so much 😁
I love how the song sounds sparkly and like a game (did we all forget about Bejeweled?!)
love your taylor reactions! hope u can do more her videos!
Thank you so much!! I for sure will be! Her videos are amazing!
Your reaction is very different from others and that what make this channel unique and interesting.. i'm watching 👀
Thank you so much Deric!
All to well one of her best work she also have behind the scenes video
I think the Prince is definitely Jack Antonoff who works a lot with taylor on most of her songs. they are good friends i believe
This reaction is so hilarious and amazing 💙
I love this song and like to blast it 🎉🎉 Great reaction 🤗
Thank you so much!
My favorite underrated Easter egg: blood moon lit (from the song glitch)
Cardigan Music video is so cool she also directed that
She's a genius. In many ways, but one is playing with us with easter eggs. We take hours to identify these 😇😂😂😂
I’ll make a suggestion… you should watch some breakdowns of the videos before you watch the actual video. Because not only are you missing background and plot but you’re missing Easter eggs left and right. And it’s killing me! 😂
The 'ugly sisters', her good mates haim, who actually sung that im gonna be hungover before the oscars.
The burlesque dancing fairy godmother Dita Von Teese
The prince- Jack antonoff, one of her long term friends & music producers
The lift: Yes its an easter egg, shes rerecording her first 6 albums after her masters were sold under her.
You have to know Taylor swift and her songs to understand the Easter eggs
No magic tricks here... she really Shimmers like that😂🎉 also... I think it's safe to say you sir, are a ♡♡Swiftie♡♡
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought the slo mo with the dancers fanning her and her smiling. It was a quick transition to a too very slow motion shot that didn’t flow well and just looked weird. And no one knew what I was talking about until they analyzed it. Which makes me think I noticed something that is not common to others or I wasn’t supposed to notice it
Laura Dern is the Step Mother. She is an Oscar winning actress.
Thank you so much and welcome to the channel!!
13:42 I literally observed that too! the moment that scene came, I was kind of confused about it because it does look odd. I wonder why they kept it in slowmo when they knew the the fps wasn't gonna work for that slowmo shot.
The two objects are wine glasses with ice in it. Ice is a euphemism for Diamonds
How have I just noticed the song playing in the background in the beginning is "Enchanted".
And I found more Easter eggs in the intro
"Yes, mom" reminiscent of "Yes, whale!"
"Weasel" someone once commented that she looked like a weasel that got hit by a truck and stitched back together by a drunk taxidermist 😶
"Clean" is a song
"Snake" the name Kim K called Taylor, which she subsequently made the theme of her next album Reputation
"Exile" is a song
The cotton reel on the table reminds me of the thread in her cardigan music video
Then when she goes to the 5th floor she has a faux bob like during her 1989 era.
Then she goes to the 13th floor (her lucky number)
Mr Video Editor have you been inspired to start putting Easter Eggs in your videos?
I mean, you gotta watch Endgame, Blank Space, Out Of The Woods 😊and Me!
Right??
Oh my right at the beginning how can you not know the great Laura Dern?!?! 😱 At the very least from Jurassic Park…
Your eye is amazing at finding the discrepancies. It all looks like a blur to me lol.
could you do cardigan?
Coming up soon! Should be some time next week!
nobody noticed the fact that she goes to floor 3 that is colour purple? that means speak now tv, then she goes to floor 5 that is colour green-blue (representative colour of 1989) and her album number five is 1989? 1989 tv soon!!
so many easter eggs in this music video 😂
the prince is Jack Antonoff, singer, co-songwriter and producer and super friend of TS.
5 is the Album 1989 , she gonna release 1989 Taylor's version
I know this is unsolicited advice, so please ignore me and forgive me if I’m overstepping. But each Taylor Swift video or Harry Styles, or anyone with a big fan base… You should plug one or two previous videos you have done with the link in the description or at least just mentioning them. This will get people to want to either subscribe, to go back and watch them later, or to immediately go find the next video after they’re done watching this one they are currently on.
In order to fully understand you’d have to listen to everything including the non music videos. And like have a swiftie give you a full story of her life and stuff up until one point. Could be a fun video idea!
The budget is always budgeting with Taylor swift
Damn. Someone who doesn’t know how Dita Vomtease is! That scene is similar to what she does in her own shows.
are you telling me that those dragons weren't real???!!!!! D:
Laura Dern is the actress from Marriage Story and Jurassic Park
The other woman is Dita Von Tesse the most famous burlesque dancer
Prince Jack was played by her producer, Jack Antonoff!
They have a making the video where they show the costumes being created.
Just noticed when the bracelet forms on her hand it’s the Pisces sign. Joe Alwyn is a Pisces. Have they been broken up longer than the news revealed??
You need to do a reaction to Taylor Swift's Me! video!
Swifties reaction when non-swiftie reacts to a TS videos: 🤔 🤔 they'll never understand every reference used in her videos. 😁
Great work!
lol prince jack is jack antonoff, her producer and friend
Do "I bet you think about me" by Taylor Swift.
You getting that this is a break up song before all the swifties. 😢
Fun fact in the opening scene the background music is “Enchanted” played on violin
Floor 5 could also be that track 5 on her albums is always an emotional song 😊 And this is up tempo, but still about a very emotional place of mind. She’s picking herself up ❤ IMHO this song scream Calvin Harris. He wasn’t all that good at being supportive and proud of her.
was Enchanted ppaying in the beginning??
reminds me of smashing pumpkins tonight tonight music video set @12:48
