This is amazing ! I was going through crates of my 80s toys (and I had a bit of everything for real ) and I came across these figures and couldnt for the life of me think of what they were called ! Eagle Force ! Thank you . I still got Harley , the orange flamethrower guy , the blue ninja dude and about 9 others . Man , this was cool to see .

I remember having these figures, along with the large Eagle playset (which I used for my Cobra figures).

I remember: The Cat a French guy who knew Escape, E&E methods. He used a big MAC 10 9mm SMG with a surpressor, para-stock.

My thought is that Mego was well aware of Hasbro's plans to bring back GI Joe and decided to beat them to the punch with a toyline that was quick and easy to produce.

Fantastic video! I had a Harley as a kid and could never remember his name or the toy line he came from, so thank you for putting a name to it.

Nice review. Thanks. Interesting to hear they arrived before GI Joe 3 3/4 in stores. I had a few of these. The diecast metal was heavy but durable. Relieved they're not lead metal figures.

I remember seeing the 3 packs of Eagle Force figures on clearance at Circus World Toy Store. I thought they looked neat but I was too into MOTU at the time.

I absolutely love every video you make and, as always, this one is awesome! It's so refreshing to watch a review made by someone who truly loves the item they are showcasing. I can tell in each video that, to you, these are more than just toys which is something I've stated for years. Cartoons, Comics, Toys are so much more than what they are on the surface, they are childhood memories and friends that have stuck with us, faithfully, throughout the years. Your videos definitely reflect that. ;)
Speaking of Eagle Force, Zica Toys and Fresh Monkey Fiction have re-released a lot of the characters (along with newer characters) in a more modern G.I. Joe 3 3/4" scale (with actual jointed articulation!) and they are pretty awesome. I've reviewed like 21 of them and have loved every one. They had announced more of the Gold vintage homages to the older figures, but only a handful have come out so far. If you're interested, be sure to check them out! ;)
Again, awesome review and keep up the great work! Happy New Year!!! ^_^

I saw GIJoe before Eagle Force. However, I saw Eagle Force figures at feed/farm supply stores for some reason.
Also, in the late 70s, the Japanese toy company Takara had a spinoff line to their Microman line called Hoodman, which had 8cm (3.14 in) tall figures. Mego, who had licensed Microman as Micronauts chose not use them, instead took the hood accessories and slapped them on another Microman figure.
The prototypes for the 3 3/4" Joes were some Mego CHiPs figures that were kitbashed by the designers. My theory is that Mego had people at their Lion Rock factory reverse engineer the Microman figures and then used the resulting work on lines like CHiPs, Buck Rogers, and The Black Hole.

I’ve always scoffed at these guys because they were so small. But I think I like this fella.

They look pretty cool but I never had them as a kid but I probably would have added them even though they were smaller versions of my GI Joes and had them join GI Joe against cobra
