I had Tomax and Xamot but always wanted the crimson guard. My favorites that I had were snake eyes and storm shadow. Later it was any of the dreadnoughts.

I had a bunch of Star Wars figures Buck Roger's figures, and Battlestar Galactica figures. Unfortunately, most of them met there fate, one 4th of July weekend. As you can imagine, those action figures, and fireworks, was kinda fun for a little bit, but nothing survived!!! Looking back now, it was fun and all, but now I sure do regret it!!! Now I'm slowly rebuilding part of the collection I had, at great cost, and it's very time consuming!!! I'll never get back everything I had, but maybe I can regain some of them.

Whiplash is one of my favorite Masters-figures as a kid. I remember one day in my beloved toy shop my dad said that I could choose one figure. And I wanted a monster fighter of Skeletor. I took Whiplash with me. I thought he was the most dangerous.

I never got the og Stormshadow! I would look everywhere or even on family vacation. The only time I found Stormshadow, his accessories were gone from the packaging and so I passed on getting him. I did get the new Stormshadow though when it came out.

Wow. I had Metal Man, Time Traveler, Space Glider, and even that small windup robot. I had one with a red dome and one with a blue. Wish I still had them all. Thank you for this!

I had Falcon. I left him outside on the back lawn and my Dad ran him over with the lawn mower. He was a double amputee and I was and still am gutted! I also wished Hasbro made more realistic figures like Falcon.

Storm shadow and firefly were definitely my top five from Cobra, I loved Copperhead too, playing G.I. Joe’s past my 10-year-old kid self, but it turned into role-play, where I would use dice and rulers and we would create scenarios, including hiding figures in the bushes where you would have to take your troopers through that path to rescue another G.I. Joe. On your dice roll if you didn’t spot a sniper or a Cobra trooper hidden in the bushes you would get shot and killed. 😂 I basically stop playing with them after getting into comic books, but I probably kept the Joe’s on my bookshelf for years even a Hooded Cobra Commander at my work desk. Yo Joe!

I would always mix my Star Wars and GiJoes and had stories that had nothing to do with the “source material”

Just look how crisp the molding was on the chest piece. You just didn't get that in the later year figures.

I inherited the big safari set from my older siblings. I never knew what parts actually went with the toy. Something about the left hand being at 90 degrees so they could hold a steering wheel made them really awesome. I played with the X-rays (never knew their name before) with my Tron figures. X-woman was always being saved by Tron super mario style.

I loved all the smell toys.

Darn Shame Golden Girl never got an animated series. The figures looked lightyears better than She-Ra especially with the real cloth goods, knee articulation, and on figure weapon storage. These are features you wouldn't get in figures until 20+ years later.

I never had him. He doesn't look like a very exciting character, tbh. I would not have picked him BUT I did join the Gentle Giant Premier Apprentice Guild so I could pick the Jumbo Figure as the Exclusive Guild "Gift" :) which in reality I am paying $45 (USD) shipping plus $100 (USD) for the guild membership which means roughly $200 (CAD) for an exclusive Kenner Jumbo Figure plus about $50 in coupons and dibs on other exclusives. The Jumbo Figure looks awesome. It's on a The Empire Strikes Back card anyway and I am excited for the figure.

I guess I was lucky to have a Storm Shadow because we lived in Mexico and my dad brought it for me in one of his trips to Houston. Later I bought at least 2 more myself in the opportunities I had visiting the US

You could have a vacation and travel to Japan, where all these good stuff is. Its half of the price from Ebay and alot of stores to visit. Im sure you will find all of them for a decent price, now the Yen currency have gone down abit. Good luck mate and oh, ive forgot. I was honestly expecting to see the Golden Girls sitcom elderly TV characters as action figures when I saw Golden Girl as the title. Cool to see this was a unique toy line of women Warriors. Nice presentation, thanks.

I purchased the evil barbarian girl for my sister, and she used her as an ally to He-Man when we would play. We also had the Dragon Queen who teamed up with Skeletor!

In Germany, Golden Girl was only to be seen on fairs. Like as a cheap rip off of MotU/PoP you could win on lotteries and other booths there… I remember a second - male - toyline equaling Masters of the Universe there as well, but I lost the name of that line…

Great video, if Origins hadn't spoiled me I would probably be collecting vintage MOTU and it's knockoffs with Golden Girl shoved right next to She-Ra on a hypothetical shelf.

These seem way better quality than she-ra. You dont hear about them much because she was He- Man's side piece.
