I have watched these countless times and only just now realised how little recognition they've gotten. These are easily the best Nightfall in Middle Earth videos on TH-cam and probably the best way to listen to the album in general if you're new to it.
This is good work. Well done! I hope you continue to make more

I will, don't worry. Just had a very busy september 22 to july 23. My plan is to have a superplaylist, so you can experience the entire album from start to finish this way. Thanks for the kind words!

Thank you for making this. This artfully made video of JRRT's best story of creation and fall from grace, in Blind Guardian's song, really hit hard and on behalf of my family, I thank you.

Ayy, finally you've done this song too. I actually watched it when it came out, great work, love it. I'm curious, what makes you think "I have seen this bitter end / As I've foreseen the storm and ice" is being said by Fingolfin? I always though it was Mandos but now I'm actually unsure.

I wasn't really sure, I decided on Fingolfin because I thought it was a bit of a weird transition otherwise (the part afterwards is definently him). I'm not really an expert on the Silmarillion, so some of this stuff eludes me :/

@@metallyricsarchive9947 I'm not an expert either, I just love it, there's so many details that I always re-remember new things. I assumed it was Mandos cause it's about foresight, but maybe Fingolfin had some small degree of foresight (some Elves do) or it was more like Fingolfin knew it would be folly to trust in Feanor and there would be a price to pay, hence the "As I've foreseen the storm and ice". Ultimately you did a great job and it's a song, it can be open to interpretation and Blind Guardian does tend to be ambiguous in some parts. For example in When Sorrow Sang I can't for the life of me figure out if it's just meant to be Beren and Mandos singing or if the first part belongs to Luthien or if it's a mix between the three or what. It's like all at once and I'm losing my mind, great stuff. xD

@@liamvalentine6073 hahaha thank you for liking my videos man. Probably going to get a headache when I get to When Sorrow Sang :P I think the "As I've foreseen the storm and ice" can be interpreted as Fingolfin not really wanting to go in the first place, but feeling forced to after what happened. But yeah you're right, that a lot of this stuff is up to interpretation

@@metallyricsarchive9947 You're probably right about that. About When Sorrow Sang, there are lyrics being sang in the background around the part "I will not leave this / World of living / Till she has said / Goodbye" which cannot be made out. I've asked around and no one knows anything about them, for most it was the first time they had realised those lyrics were there; some others tried using audio editing software to figure out what they say but no luck there either; they also don't appear on the lyrics that come with the album. So you're probably gonna have to ignore them lol.
