- We head out to a dressage competition with Zeb, Erol and Tiny!
It doesn’t all go to plan though with Zeb injuring himself at the competition and Erol throwing some extra moves that weren’t required! Give it a watch to find out what happens and how Erol does!

Evening Ashley, I have been away for a few days so have been catching up with you all. First I am sorry about main man Zeb, I of course hope he is ok and goes on to make a full recovery. I really enjoyed watching Errol today, crafty little buckeroo there, naughty!, but his 2nd test was beautiful, he really is coming on in leaps and bounds now, what a star. Izzy you did a really nice test with Tiny, well done, you do seem to be getting more confident, that's great.
At least it was dry and sunny this week, last week's blog was awful for you all, respect for turning out as you did.

I thought Erols second test was lovely. The walk trot parts were just beautiful and soft to watch. Seems like he still needs to build some strength in the canter but really you should be so proud of yourself.

Zeb just wasn’t in the zone for going out today , so glad it’s only minor . Baby Erol omg what a boy his transitions up & down beautiful 🤩 his strides so athletic - fabulous, except when youthful excitement got the better of him haha 😛 . Tiny likes the camera every time he went passed 😝 well done Izzy in the open class to come 5th

Congratulations to Izzy & Tiny on coming in fifth (but really 2nd!), & to Ashley & Erol (who seems to be trying out for a job with the Rockettes!) on their 2nd places. I expect that Zeb is quite pleased with himself for having caused maximum distress & inconvenience to the idiot hoomans who surround him & won't take him XC or at least show-jumping! I follow other riders on youtube who goes to eventing with dressage. They comment on the dressage what they are doing and what the score or mark are for every test and what they are doing in the test. This I find interesting listening to the voice over comments.

Well done Ash & Erol . Hope Zeb is OK and on the mend x Izzy and Tiny did really well. But, please can someone get Izzy a new hat silk...hers is too small & it doesn't make for a good look!! Xx. I've a question if you could please help me on....How do Dressarge judges beable to write the comments etc & watch the test? ....Do they have somone writing for them or do they use a dictaphone & write the sheets up later? Have always wondered about that lol . Anyways much love to you all as always. ❤🐴🐎🐕👍❤
They have a writer sitting next to them, who writes down the comments and the mark for each movement.

The vlog is fine! Zeb was most important with a boo-boo, glad it sounds minor...Erol did well indeed despite playing up a bit, his front end kept going while his back end did a bit of whoopsie, silly lad.. Um...Izzy forgot a button on her jacket..😉oops..still well done!

I don't know where you're from but here it's normal to judge what a horse should be doing by taking a holistic view. Looking at things like overall condition, performance and willingness to work, rather than just going on age.
Zeb will tell Ashley when he's ready to retire, you should stay in your lane and concentrate on what's going on in your own life instead of sticking your nose into someone who you don't know's business. #Mindyourownbusiness!!!
