This has helped me a lot. I am studying for a job in IT and it's not something I am really interested in. I am more of a performing arts kind of person but it's hard to get jobs in that field or make enough money to survive.
So my choice of an IT job was mostly based on money but now your video has opened my eyes to how joining tech could be important for a much larger cause.
And you gave me hope that someone who isn't initially interested in IT could still be successful in that field.
    Thank you! 💞

Well, that's the thing. Guys don't choose it for money. They are deeply interested in the field. You can hardly be successful in something you don't care about.

Sabina's opinions and comments should also be extended to the LGBTQIA+ community -- we need diversity in tech across the board.

I have been working in development centre for many years. Women are usually not deeply interested in the job. I always have to tell them exactly what to do and how to do it and if I slightly change the assignment next time, they are lost again. I don't have to explain anything to male engineers. They just understand what needs to be done and they can operate on their own, they connect the dots and are able to apply experience to solve a new problem.
Men graduates are usually better engineers in few months than women with 10+ yrs "experience" in the field.

Don't generalize, there are many women in the world. I always wanted this career and I was negatively influenced not to pursue it, because I'm a woman, but it's my decision and here I am. I don't need anyone to tell me what to do. I study and do it because I’m thirsty for it.
