UPS dropped it off last night minutes before 14:27 a t-storm took our power away,
First, as usual, directions are dubious so that is why I am here.
My usage for this unit will be our denerator, lawn tractor, and stored in our CRV.
And in the middle of hurricane season charging phones and things.
It appears it will be capable to do all.

Esto no tiene que ver con el jumper. A este jeep le esta sucediendo otro problema de inyeccion, de electricidad o que se yo pero del jumper no, el jumper eata trabajando perfectamente bien.

Does it rattle when you shake it

Yes. But not like there's a bunch of loose components, or even one loose major component. Kind of like a long wire that's not secured in the middle and it smacks on the case when you shake it. I hope that made sense.

Where did you get that battery quick disconnect?

    Pump the gas bro

And what do you think that will achieve on a fuel injected engine, bro?

Why are these jump starters with excessive amps so popular? If I only need 700 CCA to start my SUV in the winter, why would I want a jump starter with 4000 amps? I know you say you want more than you think you need, and I understand that. But it seems like 1500 amps is easily more than you'll ever need. Why would anyone besides a heavy-duty vehicle operator want any more than that?

I can think of several reasons. First, these companies almost always overstate the output and capacity of their batteries. Secondly, this unit is going to sit in a car and slowly lose charge over time and when you actually need it you might not have the ability to charge it. And third, you might have to start the vehicle with it more than once, or actually run the vehicle from it if the alternator is the reason why the battery is dead, before you get home. Extra capacity can't hurt anything and might just save your ass. At least that's my thinking. Thanks for watching!

Also, just adding my 2 cents no one asked for but you’ll be able to get a lot more charges through it and still be okay months later without having to worry about charging it or if you did. And the size compared to the smaller one isn’t that noticeable. The price is but I guess that’s just preference.

if a battery is completely dead the extra amperage is useful.

The rating of all these jump boxes is misleading. If you look closely they rate their products for "peak" amperage and generally include that figure in the model number, like this AVA4000. Like others, this unit will output 4000 amps for literally milliseconds, which is useless. To produce a continuous 4000 amps the unit would be the size of a refrigerator and would need cables as big as your arm.
