I Watched Your Video And Ordered My Avapow 6000a A68. I had to search high & low to actually find one with the Boost Button! Awesome Video Sir!

Good video! Simple and a real world test! I don't care about what the box or numbers say, all that matters is it jumps a vehicle and if it's jumping that 7.3, it'll be good for 99.9% of people.
I saw on project farm where it didn't have the override button, but that's now fixed.
    Thanks again.

I've got a parasitic draw somewhere on my 6.8 v10
This seems like a good backup plan
    Thanks for the review

This was a great no bullshit video for people that want to know if a product does what it’s supposed too definitely gonna buy one of these over the noco for the price

Thank you! It's a great deal for how it can jump really anything you need compared to the Noco. There is a link in our bio that helps us make a little bit of money back when you buy if you are interested!

My Avapow 6000A A68 model is exactly like yours, except ours does NOT have a Boost button because it's an older model I'm assuming. I was sent our unit directly from Avapow around 10 months ago, they sponsored our video. You would have thought they would have sent us one with a boost button so we would have a better experience. Our Avapow 6000A has been having issues jump starting a completely dead battery as you would imagine with No boost function. Hopefully they will stop selling or sending people the older A68 model, because without a Boost button is pretty much useless, unless your battery is partially dead.

Yeah that is interesting that they would send you a older model considering it was only 10 months ago. We luckily haven't had to use our battery jumper more than a dozen times, but a few days before we recording a video we had to use it to jump our 7.3L F-250 in a parking lot when the alternator stopped working. It has worked great for us, but it sounds like your experience with their product wasn't as good as ours has been so far!

Do you have to hold that green button? Doesn't that make it a two man job?

    • @DrRicksGarage

You only have to hold the button until the light turns green, and then you can go start it. While it is easier with two people it could definitely be done by yourself!

I think my green light kept turn off because I didn't have a good enough connection, so it wouldn't stay green@DrRicksGarage

Just got mine but there’s no recharging cord for the actual device.

The one we bought came with one, I believe it is just a usb type C. You could probably contact them because I think they are supposed to!
