I do want to get some handheld consoles like that over the next couple of months, I’ll look into the R36S as one to get. Thank you for the suggestion and for watching my video I really appreciate it 😀👍🏻
I will next time I make a Gameboy video, I thought stretched it would show up better for the camera but it would perhaps have been better to show it looking as it should in the correct ratio. Thank you for watching my video and the feedback 😀👍🏻
Some of the carts have dodgy save functions. It only lets you save one game at a time. If you try saving on another game it will write over your previous game's save file. For games with passwords it's ok.
that’s a fair point, I haven’t tested that with the saves on it yet but being what it is it won’t surprise me if that happens. I know the passwords work on saved games, at least the ones I’ve tried. Thank you for watching my video 😀👍🏻
if possible can you tell us if for the pokemon games could you trade pokemon with another gameboy(of course if you have the data cable)? Also for the Pokemon Gold/Silver it had a clock system for day and night that effected the game/story. Can this cartridge handle that?
Hi, it has a day and night system on Gold/Silver but I don’t know if that affects the game story as I’ve not played them before checking this just now. I’m sorry I can’t test if you can trade Pokémon as I don’t have a link cable or a second Gameboy to test that with. Thank you for watching my video apologies for not being able to be more helpful 😀👍🏻
What is wrong with display? It started up perfectly 1:1 and then immediately changes to that godawful 3:2 GBA Ratio (where all those games end up needing to be cropped or letterboxed just to look right on any other screen)… …and then it gets fixed for a split second at 2:42 and IMMEDIATELY goes back to that godawful stretched, blurry, and just wrong image less than a second layer. I stopped watching at that point. The GameBoy is nostalgic for me and THAT looks like nothing I have ever seen when playing a GameBoy game… 🤔🤔🤔
I stretched the display as I thought it looked better for the camera being a larger display, apologies I thought I had said I was doing that in the video
I really enjoy your channel. Would love to see you review the R36S handheld console.

Play it in it's right Aspect Ratio, not stretched

I would love to know! Do you know where a good link cable can be bought?

Yes he pressed either L or R on 2.42 that is why it changed. He said in the video he stretched it in the hopes of getting a better recording.
