Both shows are great, but DB easily takes it for me. DB withstood the test of time all the way from 1990 to 2015. The fact that even before DBS came out, DB was still popular shows that DB is much more memorable and well recieved. This show is better than DBS and GT, but not DB and DBZ.

I was playing the 1994 yu yu hakusho game boy for like 4 straight years when i was a kid. Everyday I am always excited to go back to home after school just to play this game. It inspired me a lot and my imagination is superv because of this game. I really miss my child hood days. 😍😍
That would have be wonderful but sadly the series doesnt have enough presence in current anime world and media to justify such a product. So it can only end up included in these anime crossovers like Jump Force and Jump Stars Vs.
Btw that's why i started to believe that it's better that Arcsys' next anime fighting game project is a tag team anime crossover, instead of a Dbfz sequel or any individual franchise fighting game. That could offer so much for old franchises that got no chances of getting a "Dbfz" level game (just those arena games).
Thnx for posting this. Some of us didn't know. Yuyu was technically my first bought anime. (wow, the first PS2 game looks like N64. You can really see how they worked hard and improved the other two games that came out after it.)
It was a good ending but it coulda been a little better. They could have made the tournament longer and shown more fights and still kept the same results. Still my favorite anime tho

Everytime you gotta have a stronger villian therefore everyone else has to get stronger so they can compete with them. But yeah the dark tournament was by far the best arch. It was so great it would be hard to top that arch no matter what they came up with
That's because the author of the manga was having health problems and rushed the last arc due to that. The anime actually *expanded greatly* the material in the arc. In the manga, we didn't even get to see any of the fights, just text boxes describing what happened.
I always get excited for those Jumpforce games, but then they end up being about as deep as a puddle. The best YYH fighter I've played so far is Makyo Toitsusen. The only issue I have is the tiny roster. The SNES games look good too but I've never had a chance to try them. Dark Tournament is slow and unbalanced but has a great roster. I've always wanted to play Forever. It looks more balanced and quick paced.

I love the graphics of the 3DO game a lot, the gameplay is OK too but there are better ones. I like the Makyou Toitsusen / Sunset Fighters the most. I wish Forever had more complex fighting. It looks nice but it's very simplistic. Still fun. Shitou! Ankoku Bujutsukai 120% is a cool game!
No leave YYH alone. There's no more story to tell. They ended bravely because they're letting our imagination do the rest of the work. The only thing I'll be open for is a prequel series of Genki or Sensui.

I have Yu Yu Hakusho Forever. I had it before but someone stole it back in 2012. So I bought it again a few months ago. I have many games based off animes on both my American Ps2 and my Japanese Ps2. Most are Gundam games, I have Berserk, Rurouni Kenshin En kyoto rennie, Mobile Suit Gundam Aeug vs Titans, Mobile Suit Gundam Federation vs Zeon, Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny Zaft II plus. I have Gundam Meisters, I have Gungrave and Gungrave overdose both for my american ps2. etc.
Yuu yuu hakusho Dai-San-Tama, was the game I finished as a kid. Did not know the complete title until now since it was part of 75 in 1 gameboy cartridge. I remember going back and forth the same map to level up my team. As you level up, the combo and moves your character does also improves. Your special skill as well is different. You can switch your main team with other initially bad but then became good. Good times.
I'm watching yu yu hakusho right now (I'm at episode 53) and I was surprised when I found out there was 1 game. I love that there's so many!! Hopefully, we'll get one (besides jump force) on the switch and other new consoles :')
I Loved all the songs. I can see the love for the anime in all they. About play, the best one still SNES YuYu Hakusho Final. Could have been Play 2 Yu Yu Hakusho Dark Tournament, with its amaizing tecniques, but they overcomplicated the controls
You know what they need to bring back the TV show plus they need to a new game out because it was a hell of a good anime cartoon just laying dragon Ball z plus I was little bit more realistic I am a big fan and I hope and pray they will bring it back I hope they can make a new game
I know it’s too much but it’s my bias towards YYH that would ask the devs of jump force to add Kurama, Kuwabara, and Sensui. Also allow for a Raizen Skin for Yusuke, maybe even add Rando into the game as well as Genkai.
There must be more for old Japanese cellphones with NTT DoCoMo, Yahoo! Keitai and EZWeb, I presume. Too bad no one seems to have been able to archive all of the games for those platforms and now those treasures are lost to time forever.
What they should do in the future is make the ultimate Yu Yu Hakusho game for PlayStation and Xbox....they should have every single character on there and the story mode should be from when yuske got run over all the way to the demon world tournament. That would be so fucking amazing
When I found out we can do animated finishing if we dizzy the opponent first before delivering the final blow, it was truly amazing. We dont have online guide back then so it feels different.

Yu Yu Hakusho Tokubetsu Hen (1994) is probably my favorite game of all time! I spent countless hours on that game :)))
