In case you didn't know, gameboy color/advance has 12 different pre-set color palletes for gameboy original games, while the super game boy had a single preset *different* to the color/advance and was fully customisable. Left + B does Grayscale, Up+B does Sepia, Right+B does Inverted, Down-only does Pastel, Left+A does a pretty neutral-looking red/blue. There are others, too.
Balloon Kid tip: Collect twenty balloons in a row to turn the balloons into double balloons for higher score. If you miss a balloon in sequence, such as collecting 1, 2, 4, the count restarts.
I just got this cart. Some of the games either dont run or they crash. Games like Turrican, Pacman and pinball to name a few. Running on an og Gameboy dmg. Still, for the price, you can't beat it.
Be careful. The 108 in one uses a battery backed save and the chip on the board is high draw and the battery they supply is cheap. So you only get about 10 to 14 months before the battery dies and you lose all your saves. So be sure to backup.
@@ScottBruder Thanks, Would a Chinese company even go to that cost for one? TBH if you're going that far for a multi-cart, you might as well look for a flash cart.
I remember these things from the 90s. Quite a bit of scummy stuff going on with those, like only having first stages of the games on it or mostly low quality games.
Do those games save? You mentioned Pokemon? Also pictured is Pokemon Silver / Gold. Those have a quartz crystal-based time-keeping component inside which allows you to participate in time-based events. Is that functionality included? Otherwise, it's false advertising, not like this is something you would pursue with the seller when purchasing cheap Chinese knockoff carts. Again, since you didn't catch my response to the Made in China issue which you mistook what I commented and slandered me, stating I was condemning a whole nation of people, NO!, I do not condemn the Chinese people and thousands of years of culture. I do believe there is a lack of Quality Control and a lot of cutting corners in Made in China products, which leads to a lot of frustration on the consumer end and I bet also in those companies which partner with Chinese manufacturers--not to mention the intellectual copyright stealing. This may not be a problem in the most free of Libertarian-led societies, but the world is run via a Capitalist model.
Nevermind about the battery, I started typing before you covered the Super Game Boy support in the latter section of the vid where you showed the Pokemon saved game.

Oh wow I didn't know that! Thanks for dropping that knowledge

I recommend an ezFlash JR.
I played this as a kid, and your right, the battery does not last. I was heartbroken multiple times when my Pokémon saves were just randomly gone.
Is the S-RAM a batery inside, or is it actual flash memory?
I haven't bothered to open it up and find out but I suspect it's a battery
@@Larry it's an S-ram powered by battery. Only F-ram does not need a battery to keep the save.
@@ScottBruder Ah thanks, is it possible to convert it?
@@Larryit would probably not be worth it. I would see if you can get one with F-Ram to begin with.

Maybe you accidentally booted Solar Striker with the press of a button. Solar Striker plays with non-inverted colors on my Game Boys.

Does this have super mario deluxe
This is awesome. Please give a link or something to search for. For $11 I WANT ONE
what if you try using crystal on the DMG?
Not sure. I'll have to give it a try
I suspect not since the game actually does the check, not the hardware.
@@WhatsOnMyShelf Guess that's how the error message still shows up on the DMG from 7/9 years prior. Thanks :)
Will this work on the analogue pocket?
Unfortunately I dont own one so I can't test it
You need a dring, your fingers tremble
