I so relate! I get bullied all the time by older women at work for literally no valid reason. One of them literally screamed at me last night over something I didn’t even do, & kept screaming at me over and over again that, “YES YOU DID!!!!!” Then she screamed (no words, just an extremely loud scream!) and angrily stormed back to her work station. A few minutes later, she came back to me and started yelling about the same thing all over again! And kept insisting, “WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DIDN’T DO IT, YES YOU DID!!!!” Keep in mind, she did this right in front of everyone.
I can relate too! I actually got let go from my previous job without reason or warning, and I know now that it was all because of my manager. She was a new hire and absolutely sucked at her job. The first day I met her she came at me with hostility. No greeting, no nothing. She tried to lecture me in a busy hallway over a miscommunication another problematic coworker tried to create with me, but I had receipts and I always documented EVERYTHING (worked in healthcare) to show that my coworker was in the wrong. I guess my manager felt stupid after that because moving forward she kept treating me with passive aggression. Like she was just waiting for chew me out. She turned the entire department toxic in less than a week, when it was originally chill and laid back. Maybe she was jealous that my colleagues in other departments would buy me lunches and give me random gift cards and shout outs idk, but I was there WAY before she was even hired on, so I could never understand why she was always such a b*tch from the jump. Anyway, I’m glad I got let go. Don’t have to deal with that BS anymore.

I literally listen to your videos in one headphone while at work 😂 I learned my lesson with trying to be the “fun” in the office. I’ve had managers overload me with work or co-workers try to ruin my mood with negative comments. I go to work, mind my business, and go home. Now my co-workers are super nosey about my relationship and what I do in my free time because I don’t relate to the small talk they have.

From the bad advice given (by both white and black women), to the sabotage at work by just existing and wanting to look presentable--I use to always like looking nice until i saw how it worked against me. So i stopped putting effort into my appearance, gained a a bunch of weight and I stopped doing anything to my hair. My God...... things definitely changed. I was treated alot nicer (for lack of a better word) and when I started acting louder and wilder, ppl started thinking i was funny and entertaining so I was no longer threatening. But 2 yrs ago I realized how I grew tired of putting on a show for them all and the only benefit I got out of it was "peace". I had to make a decision and currently I'm going back to the old me that I let go of only to be left alone and to fit in. You can't hold yourself back just for the sake of other ppl; thats what I've learned

It was so disgusting how they treated me that I get upset every time I think about it! I loved the job and customers but they made sure my life was a living hell while I worked there for 5 miserable years.

I'm the same, I never cared with most jobs outside of how it's relevant to my goals, the drama gossip is just base thinking I find mono types are the most negative,not always but most of the time.
Right- the longest I’ve ever stayed at a job was 1.5 years and that was because it was a float job where I went to different locations of the company. Other than that I’ve only stayed at a job for a year at the longest

I know this is an older video but I've had an older woman who was my manager (old retail job long time ago, I was there to save up and buy school supplies before Fall college classes start) and I am so glad it was temporary summer job because she embarrassed me every chance she got. She shouted my name and waved her arms across the store and all the customers were looking at me, I could only smile and walk to her to ask what she needs but deep inside I was embarrassed. She made me clean the entire store including the bathrooms. I think she was on a power trip and jealous of me. I'm done with college (for now, I plan on studying a different degree in a STEM field in the future) and I found out the store closed/shut down.
My a manager too lol she was a couple years younger than me overweight with 2 kids and a cheating husband man she played so many games and i caught on quickly she tried so hard to be my friend in the beginning she tried to make my life hell
I have worked with catty women and honestly I am over people like that and don't care if they are offended I don't talk to them. I am past the stage of wanting to impress people like that. I would rather communicate with the men at work (who tend to create less drama) or friendly non catty women. I have worked with catty women who tried to sabotage me at work, also had gay men act like this in a certain career
This is all true to me. I hate that kind of environment and that mindset from my former boss and coworkers. I feel like that they don't want me to have fun and just be serious all the time or if a customer wants me to be like barbie when she comes in line. Funny enough I had a boss who kept threatening me off the register, but I broke my ankle and she left (later she was fired). I prefer to be in a environment with less drama and be more flexible with my life.

holy cow, I thought it was only me. Turned out it happened for all of the pretty girls, I always seeking for friendly environment but I always meet those bad workplace, I thought I was unlucky all the time but now thanks to you, I finally realize that everything happens for a reason. If I'm threaten to them, they would hate me no matter what I did even the first day at work. If I'm pretty and tall (I'm 170cm height and I also have a pretty skin and cute face), they would tried their best to sabotage/ stalk my social media/ and whatever I did would be critized by them. They now received what they deserved, I heard that 1/2 of them was laid off only 5 months after I left the company and the HRM who was older than me, looked horrible in both personality and body, is the main reason toxic on me, is now suffering a severe illness and her kids are too naughty to respect her, one of her kids is now suffering a divorce and no plan for future. It’s so taboo to talk about and I’m sure you know if you ever do people get triggered shut you down and immediately assume you’re full of yourself and try to neg and humble you even more. 🙄 It esp got worse in my life when I used the GAPS diet to heal autoimmune issues but along with it I got a huge glow up from it. I noticed the horrible treatment I already got being targeted for my eyes got 10x worse ! Almost EVERY day or every other day co-workers say “how skinny I am” or “omg you eat?” But I notice they don’t check their other peers who aren’t slim build. She shouted my name and waved her arms across the store and all the customers were looking at me, I could only smile and walk to her to ask what she needs but deep inside I was embarrassed. She made me clean the entire store including the bathrooms. I think she was on a power trip and jealous of me. I'm done with college (for now, I plan on studying a different degree in a STEM field in the future) and I found out the store closed/shut down.
My a manager too lol she was a couple years younger than me overweight with 2 kids and a cheating husband man she played so many games and i caught on quickly she tried so hard to be my friend in the beginning she tried to make my life hell
I have worked with catty women and honestly I am over people like that and don't care if they are offended I don't talk to them. I am past the stage of wanting to impress people like that.
I would rather communicate with the men at work (who tend to create less drama) or friendly non catty women.

This is all true to me. I hate that kind of environment and that mindset from my former boss and coworkers. I feel like that they don't want me to have fun and just be serious all the time or if a customer wants me to be like barbie when she comes in line. Funny enough I had a boss who kept threatening me off the register, but I broke my ankle and she left (later she was fired). I prefer to be in a environment with less drama and be more flexible with my life.

holy cow, I thought it was only me. Turned out it happened for all of the pretty girls, I always seeking for friendly environment but I always meet those bad workplace, I thought I was unlucky all the time but now thanks to you, I finally realize that everything happens for a reason. If I'm threaten to them, they would hate me no matter what I did even the first day at work. If I'm pretty and tall (I'm 170cm height and I also have a pretty skin and cute face), they would tried their best to sabotage/ stalk my social media/ and whatever I did would be critized by them. If I fight back, they would form a hateful group to do anything against me. Gosh! Thank you for your video, now I understand my value and why I was treated that way. Just because they're jealous and hate me on my beauty, and my boss gave me higher salary than them. They now received what they deserved, I heard that 1/2 of them was laid off only 5 months after I left the company and the HRM who was older than me, looked horrible in both personality and body, is the main reason toxic on me, is now suffering a severe illness and her kids are too naughty to respect her, one of her kids is now suffering a divorce and no plan for future. What a shame! I think karma is real.

I'm in my early 40s and still get hated on. I'm a grandmother as well 😂 but I can't help it if I look great. Dress great and smell great it's just how I was raised and how I was born. I was raised by southern bells, and it's just the format of our blueprint it's just attached to our souls. But hey, I can't help it if I still look like I'm in my twenties it's in my genes. I have been binge watching your channel recently because it’s hard to find safe spaces to vent talk about and hear about this ! It’s so taboo to talk about and I’m sure you know if you ever do people get triggered shut you down and immediately assume you’re full of yourself and try to neg and humble you even more. 🙄 It esp got worse in my life when I used the GAPS diet to heal autoimmune issues but along with it I got a huge glow up from it. I noticed the horrible treatment I already got being targeted for my eyes got 10x worse ! How dare I lose weight, lose all my eczema … and my skin be glowing and my face shape change 🤣 thank you for speaking on this ! It helps just to hear and be validated.
. I have different experiences though because I grew up as a white minority in California. I can imagine the same happens when you’re a minority wherever you are because it’s just human nature.

Yes yes yes yes YES! I have dealt with this in my work space. I am naturally very slim and I have been all my life. Almost EVERY day or every other day co-workers say “how skinny I am” or “omg you eat?” But I notice they don’t check their other peers who aren’t slim build. Like body shaming anybody type isn’t okay at all 🫤
