No I think theres one more who is side by side with their wife. I think there's one where the husband is couponing and the wife is there with him with their baby and then all the things they brought, they donate everything to Red Cross I believe

I actually really like her. She’s got a great attitude and is super sweet. She’s couponing for a purpose, she lost her job and found other means of buying what she needs, she pays for vacations for her husband!! And when she was so happy when she saw another couponer. Ugh she’s so great.

I don’t know about the US, but in the UK all coupons say ‘cannot be used with any other promotional offer’. So u can only use one at a time

Here in California that’s how coupons work now. They’ve changed policy on couponing.

Fun fact, this show was cancelled years ago due to counterfeit coupons. It’s likely that they ran out of all the food and supplies in this video.

The “online” coupons were usually fake, unless they came directly from the manufacturer’s website, when you had people coming with just a couple they would bitch and moan knowing they were trying to scam the store until the manager would give in, people using this amount of coupons the employees would probably just bypass them themselves costing the store a decent loss. You can easily tell who is using sketchy coupons if they’re getting money back from the store in the end, no coupons anywhere work that way.

@@Em09221 that's not true actually, a lot of coupons work that way, fir example. I have a coupon for $3 off when you buy two soft soap 13oz and over, the seasonal ones are .99 cent on sale atm at Walmartq. So per every two I purchase, I make a dollar. So I'll buy 10, make $5 and with that money get my laundry detergent for free. Sure my 10 bottles of hand soap are gingerbread scented but it's still soap. You just have to find sales.

She's one of the few extreme couponers who appears to actually have groceries in her cart. Most end up with Yakosobi noodles and cases of water, cleaning supplies and cat food! Good job.

Hey A, I dabble In couponing. Funny thing is my coworkers would joke about it. Now, they arent joking. They are like we are coming to your house to go shopping !! I would even do coupon deals for my coworkers. If I was over stocked on an item and the deal was good, I would bring it to work and sell it to them at what I paid for it. The guys especially loved it cause they would get a bunch of items for what they would have paid for 1 item.
suedefringe I would love to, but here in the UK you can’t use multiple coupons in one transaction; or coupons on reduced items. And it’s really nice of you to help out your coworkers! Keep doing what you do and stay safe 😄

A Little of This and A Little of That! I mean this extreme couponing series is old, I don’t think it’s recent. Trust me I know the struggle, shops have long queues before they open. I can’t find essentials, and even pet food (no cat litter too) has started to run out! Keep safe and I wish all the best to you and your family

I like that she's not buying 40 of 10 items but instead she's buying reasonable amounts of items she actually uses. Like her husband enjoys hot sauce, she's getting them all for free, but she isn't buying the entire store's stock of them, just five.
So far she seems to be the most sane one out of all the extreme couponers

It seems over the top. Half that stuff is gonna expire before they have a chance to consume them. Reason being: they are going to continue to get more and more

Most people rotate the stockpile according to expiration dates and donate.
Most stuff you get from the grocery store is good well past the expiration date. They use that date for that reason alone, to get people to buy more. There actually isn't a federal limitation for expiration dates, companies pretty much do whatever they want.

I’m glad she can provide for her family, if everyone would start couponing then you will enough stuff should a crisis happen, the negative 👎 we don’t need, stop blaming other for you shortage, plan ahead and blame yourself, everyone don’t have to money to spend that’s why we as couponers go couponing to get what is needed, and you can do the same stop making so much excuses and being hateful or negative, there’s no shame in couponing , the only shame is not having what you need, when you can get up and put forth a honest effort .. I seen disable ppl out couponing, so if they can do it , I’m sure we as able body ppl can, instead of worrying about what ppl would think or say if they see you couponing, let them talk my stomach and home is full, of things I coupon for honestly and I have no shame in that . If you have money to eat out and shop try using that extra to coupon and build a small stockpile for you family to fall bk on.... Yep, my husband complained so much before the coronavirus hit. Now, not a peep. He was glad we did not have issues. He is now thankful I am a cheap wife.

When I used to extreme coupon it was really only great for hygiene and cleaning products but most of the coupons for food are really unhealthy foods and it just wasn’t worth it for my family

I wanted to reduce my plastic waste and the amount of unhealthy foods we were consuming. Almost everything we received coupons for were junk food or cleaning supplies/ personal hygiene

I am pretty much buying raw goods to make healthy meals- not frozen processed stuff..
I think, in perspective, if you have a larger Family or co-operative where there's bulk shopping, then it's OK to buy various types of foods. But agreed, processed/junk food for 1 or 2 people isn't really frugal.

That’s great and all but as a cashier it’s actually so annoying when the customer watches so very closely.
It's their money they're spending so they have the right to look closely. If it's a problem for you, maybe you should find a new job

Those coupons are literally paying your paycheck from the manufacturer, just like any other customer's cash, so do your 8 hour shift and go home.

moffatajuk I agree. When this woman bought all these groceries, corona virus was not a threat, so instead of getting some fresh produce and raw ingredients for putting fresh meals together, her cart was filled with frozen meals and processed food. It's not a healthy lifestyle... and it shows.
Where I live, we have been going through a recession since 2009, life is very hard and money is scarce, but we cook from scratch with raw ingredients which are cheaper to buy than ready made frozen and canned meals. Of course here, we don't have all these coupons that are so readily available in the US.
To each is own, but it saddened me to see so much processed food in a time when there was no threat.
The threat was having to go to work or not being able to afford things

I really like that their supermarket offered a coupon exchange for its customers to use and share!
I commend the supermarket for the scheme. I suggested a scheme along those lines to a customer service assistant at Sainsbury’s years ago and she said they wouldn’t be allowed to because coupons can’t be redistributed even if customers don’t want them. Such a scheme would save customers money and also waste less paper and ink

Vanessa RM I would rather not work either 😂 or maybe have a part time job and use other half of time couponing. It’s fun. I’ve done it before but not like them. Stores have so many restrictions like “only for 1 item per household” so I don’t know how they are able to get so many. I read somewhere that they removed those restrictions only for the show

Wouldn’t be bad if they donated a tone of that a food to a food bank or something similar to that. Could help a lot of people, especially the homeless and those working on the front line.
They live in Washington, the homeland people in washington don't need anymore food. They make more from tax payer money, then someone does from a part time job. And most of the people here, are homeless because they're on drugs.

Do 1 better. Become one. It is so easy these days. Many post TH-cam videos of the deals. You just have to start collecting coupons.
The Melendez Family if your market has a loyalty program or something similar join it. I joined my markets and get digital coupons. My favorite are the personal price coupons, they can be used more than once. Example my personal price coupon for store brand 16oz frozen veggies is $1.08 the veggies with out coupon are $1.99
As long as the coupon is valid (usually a month) I can use it repeatedly unless there is a limit.

Anonymous player 2626 Because it’s not free. You have to transport all that crap home, pay for the square footage to store it, and when it comes to sugary cereal and other junk food it has a cost to your health if you do manage to consume it all prior to expiration.
If the store is close to your home, it is dirt cheap to transport your food and it is not hoarding because she eventually eats the food. Hoarding is when you collect a bunch of useless things that sit around your house. As well, most people have a pantry and cupboards in their house in which they are intended to store food.
Driving 2 miles back and forth to a grocery is dirt cheap when compared to the savings. As well, they normally just store their food in places that, though sometimes unconventional, are also used for other purposes, such as bedrooms.
