Day care here is free, you only pay for the meals, which are quite cheap.

According to the government parents are obligated to send their children to school or provide appropriate home schooling according to the school curriculum. Daycare is not a necessity. Day care is optional for young children before the age of school. So if it’s optional why would the government pay for it? It’s up to the parents to provide care for their young children, be it one parent stays at home, daycare, a nanny, grandparents, etc.

It's opened my eyes to how people with specific dietary needs have to navigate the food world. One thing I was surprised to learn when I first started working was just how many products use honey, gelitan and so on that claim to be vegan friendly. 😑 Fine prints and all.

As someone who used to work in retail this sounds like a dream. I love working the till and spending hours just scanning items is far better than having to deal with customers on the shop floor.
And this is why I could never do extreme couponing even tho I'm interested as a broke college student considering moving out but can't afford it. I still use coupons but in moderation

I mean vegan ink is a lot more common than you’d think. Tons of popular brands have vegan ink it’s just tricky if you go to a random shop.

It's not only that, it's unfair on other shoppers who may want to buy those products and find empty shelves. Here in the UK, shoppers can get vouchers to get a £5 or £10 off if they spend a certain amount in the supermarket.

I didn’t really mind her until the end when she almost had to pay $25 more than she planned. When you’re going down from hundreds that’s reasonable enough to just pay and not make a big deal over. She already had like 90% savings. Plus $25 is a fraction of what she should be spending on tattoos, and it doesn’t look like she spends good money on the tattoos either

I have absolutely no problem her getting a tattoo or any body modification but I do have a problem with her buying 27 mustard bottles, dog food when she doesn’t have a dog, beauty products and some food products that aren’t even vegan and a bunch of other useless crap that she doesn’t even need or it will expire before she gets a chance to eat it JUST so she could get a tattoo. When the total was $50 and it was too high she said she won’t be able to get the tattoo unless it goes down by at least another $25. Lady, if you’re basing your tattoo off of a $25 difference then something isn’t right upstairs. If she’s donating a lot of this stuff then great, I applaud her but she has an entire storage room filled with things that will go bad soon. Stop the madness.

I can't imagine how you can consume the products within the best before or use by dates. I admire the dedication and find it fascinating because in my country we don't get these sort of coupons. It always amazes me that people will always find money for smokes, alcohol and tattoos. I'm not saying this lady smokes or drinks but she has quite a few tattoos. I wish her nothing but the best.

Its smart to check your receipt anyway to make sure there wasn't an issue. I've had that happen where I saw online a jacket was one price, I had honor points, and the store clerk didnt know about the online price until I said something. Its smart to do that with everything.

Nightmare customer. When I used to work in a supermarket I used to dread the people that used coupons. There were nowhere near as many as these but the customer would always query the price at the end & argue with staff about what prices the items should be

Items on the shelves are for costumers whom don't grab a lot of stuff
So for XXL purchases, I would ask boxes, the ones products came in before being store in the shop.
In those boxes, the items are already stored and counted (even if the box isn't full, a glance will tell you how many items there are).
It will take less time than to manipulate them individually for the costumers, cashiers, and the employees whom have to refill the shelves again.
It will also be easy to carry and to store in the house.
