Wow when Laterras was speaking on the death of their former relationships it made me realise that they healed one another other through laughter and now their joint ministry is to bring healing to others though LAUGHTER. God is too good ❤
And it also debunks the stigma that people have to fully heal before they get in relationships. People are hurting themselves trying to be perfect for the right person, and the right person already knows you’re not perfect. Not to say that you shouldn’t work on yourself if you need healing, but there are people out here who want to see you healthy and will work with you to help you get there.

There are many women in 50’s and 60’s that never married because they didn’t meet the right one and chose not to settle. I had a problem with that once upon a time, but now, I think differently. I use to say that I would not date or marry anyone younger than me. But after what I have gone through and/or experienced, I soon changed my way of thinking. Some of the younger men act more mature and more like a gentleman than some of the older men. No disrespect toward anyone.....ijs.

They are a beautiful couple for sure! I actually thought they had been married for many years & hiding their beautiful kids from us, only to come across their engagement video! You guys talked about trust, and I think more to it is respect for each other. Some things Brandon was saying about Destene are words of a man that watches her a lot and holds a strong sense of respect for who she is as a person. One of the things that God has been talking to me about is that many will experience a delay in marriage so they can build enough desire/character to stay committed once they're married because, today, this union is taken for granted by many. Maybe for them, the unions they lost led them to value what they have as much. Well happy for them!!! As usual - lovely guests, thanks, Laterras for bringing them on!
Brandon and Destene were made for each other. Such a beautiful couple. One question you asked stuck with me and that was the age difference. I had a problem with that once upon a time, but now, I think differently. I use to say that I would not date or marry anyone younger than me. But after what I have gone through and/or experienced, I soon changed my way of thinking. Some of the younger men act more mature and more like a gentleman than some of the older men. No disrespect toward anyone.....ijs.
What I love about this two is their absolute humility, genuine love, respect and transparency towards each other.Their laughter brings healing to the soul.It's great knowing that there is still beauty in marriage.💖💖💖

Wow, this episode really blessed me! I can sometimes come across as (seemingly) too serious and introverted. But, with those that I feel comfortable around, I am playful --- and my humor is on the sarcastic side (but never intentionally cruel or hurtful).
This episode made me realize the importance of humor in relationships but especially in marriage. Most marriages I've been exposed to have been pretty "starched and stiff" so it was nice to see love AND laughter coexisting 🥰➕😄
