This was such a beautiful interview 🙂 1. When he apologized to all the women that has been abused. I cried. It meant a lot. Usually the people closest to a person don’t even say that. 2. Great question Laterras. As I was listening to her explain the courtship, I was thinking narcissists do the same things. Fast, pray, talk on the phone for a long time, make women feel comfortable, move intentionally… I think having people that love you take a look at the person is one of the best ways prevent falling for the charades.

What are his fruits?How is his character? 5. Listen to his stories about other people. If he is sneaky and deceitful towards others, he will do it to you. There are a lot of good channels out there that speak about signs and symptoms of narcissist

Omg so powerful and spoke to me on so many levels about my current relationship. 😭 He made me cry when he said I would like to say I'm sorry to the women out there who experienced abuse, games, been hurt etc and I felt the presence of God in his sincerity. I receive that word. 🙌🏾 I loved how she said he came to her and said exactly what he wanted and that he is not a BOYFRIEND he is a HUSBAND. They didn't waste time because he knew she was the DECISION and went forth to propose and then marriage. It never takes long when 2 people know what they want and need when the right 1 is presented by God. I wish them well.

My husband and I are from Detroit, we are artists, ministers and producers, my husband tours, the date God gave me for my engagement party was 5/17 and March 17th is my daughter birthday. I also kept being placed in the same room as my husband and we reconnected through DM. God made it obvious no one else was a choice when we made a decision to keep God first daily 💝

All of my alone time is stock piling for my good! Laterrias preaching took me completely out! My Dad didn't come to my wedding. (Even though I shouldn't have married the person that I married.) This hit me deep! 😭 I just realized I never had a covering. This was a whole counseling session! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 I was driving and crying. I have to listen again and take notes to fully appreciate this sermon. Yes, I said "sermon" because THIS was a word!
Definitely a good listen. That part about baggage and luggage stood out to me. To me, what I saw between the two is luggage is something you unpack, but baggage you don't. This was another great episode. I'm constantly hearing and seeing preference being shunned while purpose is being embraced. I love it!

Covert narcs make all of that difficult because they can wear a mask for quite a while. Pay attention to how the person handles conflict and if they are able to apologize, be accountable and be empathetic.

Oh Laterras, thank you for allowing the Holy Spirit to have you speak on the clear differentiation between honest love and manipulation through love bombing and moving at the speed of light to hide their hands. That is so important to know the real difference. Manipulation is hot in these dating streets, unfortunately. I thank God for this episode. I can totally relate to Kanita. I’ve been single for 10yrs. I know whole heartedly that it’s God’s doing. I’ve been content in my singleness and focused. Focused on my daughter and whatever the Lord wants me to do. I’ve always known that he wanted more for me, but whenever I was in a relationship my mind was clouded and my vision was blurred. I had to be set aside, learn who I was in Christ, start reading the word of God and living my life for Christ. My discernment has grown tremendously and anyone I am slightly interested in, I ask God about him immediately and whatever he tells me I run with it. In these 10yrs I’ve had 2 prospects and been on 1 date. I could hear the Lord clear as day say NOPE. I’m just now at a place where I do desire to be a wife, but I’m also at a place where if God says “not in this lifetime”, I have to be ok with that. But, if the Lord sees fit I’m ready.
This is sooooo refreshing because it confirms I'm not going crazy. I prayed God would put new desires in my heart that would show up as answered prayers to my husband. Babyyyyyyyyyyy I've discovered things I didn't even know existed, it's not just a curiosity, it's a passion. Call me crazy but there are times I really feel my husband needs me to pray and I will be prompted to pray for him. I'm currently single but I have this connection with my future husband because God drops those little hints , just as a father gives his kids clues .... once this man finds me, I will come back with a testimony. A testimony of how God orchestrates everything, don't just listen to their story or the podcasts, ask God to open your inner eye, to open your heart to listen to your spirit man and hear what God is saying through this episodes. 🙏🏿 Thank you LT ❤️❤️❤️

Omg so powerful and spoke to me on so many levels about my current relationship. 😭 He made me cry when he said I would like to say I'm sorry to the women out there who experienced abuse, games, been hurt etc and I felt the presence of God in his sincerity. I receive that word. 🙌🏾 I loved how she said he came to her and said exactly what he wanted and that he is not a BOYFRIEND he is a HUSBAND. They didn't waste time because he knew she was the DECISION and went forth to propose and then marriage. It never takes long when 2 people know what they want and need when the right 1 is presented by God. I wish them well.

My husband and I are from Detroit, we are artists, ministers and producers, my husband tours, the date God gave me for my engagement party was 5/17 and March 17th is my daughter birthday. I also kept being placed in the same room as my husband and we reconnected through DM. God made it obvious no one else was a choice when we made a decision to keep God first daily 💝

Then I have an older sister whose married for over 20 years.
I became a single mom of two and understand how it happened. Put it like this, if I was the woman in Christ that I am now. Life would have went in a total different direction for me❤

Definitely a good listen. That part about baggage and luggage stood out to me. To me, what I saw between the two is luggage is something you unpack, but baggage you don't. This was another great episode. I'm constantly hearing and seeing preference being shunned while purpose is being embraced. I love it!

Covert narcs make all of that difficult because they can wear a mask for quite a while. Pay attention to how the person handles conflict and if they are able to apologize, be accountable and be empathetic.

Oh Laterras, thank you for allowing the Holy Spirit to have you speak on the clear differentiation between honest love and manipulation through love bombing and moving at the speed of light to hide their hands. That is so important to know the real difference. Manipulation is hot in these dating streets, unfortunately. It’s the practical along with the spiritual key points on this issue that are so essential to point. Very, very good.

I thank God for this episode. I can totally relate to Kanita. I’ve been single for 10yrs. I know whole heartedly that it’s God’s doing. I’ve been content in my singleness and focused. Focused on my daughter and whatever the Lord wants me to do. I’ve always known that he wanted more for me, but whenever I was in a relationship my mind was clouded and my vision was blurred. I had to be set aside, learn who I was in Christ, start reading the word of God and living my life for Christ. My discernment has grown tremendously and anyone I am slightly interested in, I ask God about him immediately and whatever he tells me I run with it. In these 10yrs I’ve had 2 prospects and been on 1 date. I could hear the Lord clear as day say NOPE.
I’m just now at a place where I do desire to be a wife, but I’m also at a place where if God says “not in this lifetime”, I have to be ok with that. But, if the Lord sees fit I’m ready.

This is sooooo refreshing because it confirms I'm not going crazy. I prayed God would put new desires in my heart that would show up as answered prayers to my husband. Babyyyyyyyyyyy I've discovered things I didn't even know existed, it's not just a curiosity, it's a passion. Call me crazy but there are times I really feel my husband needs me to pray and I will be prompted to pray for him. I'm currently single but I have this connection with my future husband because God drops those little hints , just as a father gives his kids clues .... once this man finds me, I will come back with a testimony. A testimony of how God orchestrates everything, don't just listen to their story or the podcasts, ask God to open your inner eye, to open your heart to listen to your spirit man and hear what God is saying through this episodes. 🙏🏿
