Balance Druid rotation/Idol swapping in Phase 4 of SoD

- Quick video on how our rotation will change slightly with Starsurge now increasing the duration of Moonfire and Sunfire. Also a quiz talk about idol swapping and its potential in phase 4. The sims are quite updated to see how much idol swapping will net us dps wise, but it’s in the works! Will you idol swap?
I am liking the way sod druid feels compared to cata.
lol i was able to do idol of moon snapshot>swarm snapshot>idol of wrath for rotation>swarm snapshot>wrath>swarm>etc. But not realiable.
Gho this ones for you, so if I get Idol of the Moon (the idol that gives 17% damage to Moonfire), does that also effect Starsurge and Starfall? The runes say they benefit from talents and effects that benefit Moonfire so it would make sense right?
@@HighlordRez I’ve seen that it doesn’t. Which doesn’t make sense. It should. I need tot get my hands on it to really find out!
@@ClassicGho thats bs, it literally says effects. Might make a post on the forums about it, that's the problem with Boomkin, it doesn't scale cause of things like this and the talents. Regardless I've been loving SoD and Boomkin, instant Starsurge and 45 sec Starfalls are gonna be awesome!
@@HighlordRez phase 4 has been great! I hit 60 this morning, doing some dungeons, doing some AV, it’s been fun!
As of yesterday idol of the moon does almost nothing. A few initial damage and a couple points per tick on moon fire only. No other abilities affected and it does not scale with spell power. Basically the delve of the idol is very misleading.
Moon idol can either be categorized as bugged or useless depending on perspective.

@@thizzlewiggle6614 there’s 8 points left over after getting what I would consider the “mandatory” talents. 6 points if you get natures reach which I think everyone will. @@thizzlewiggle6614 idol swapping has never really been looked highly upon, not sure if anyone would make a WA for it or not. Ferals might have one actually, I’m not sure.
