Travis Osborn Brandon Moak claimed to be Marcus Luttrell and kyle Carpenter.

I had the honor of meeting with him a few weeks before he died. As I walked away he thanked me for my service and I stopped to remark how he was the hero and I was just old jar head. “We all had a job, and all did it for our nation,” he said. He was a kind hearted man. RIP Chris

Me and chris are from the same home town. Midlothian tx even went to the same high school. Of course he was much older than me . I got to meet him one time was such a nice guy. When they did his funeral every bridge and and was full of american flags and people all the way. Rest in peace legend you are dearly missed.

RIP Warrior. I remember being up on the 5th floor of a Houston Hotel just staring out the window when I heard the TV in the background break the news. I cried right then and there for his family, both families. His blood family then his 2nd family who loved him as their own adopted son and that would be Texans and the United States of America.

You know somethings off when Jocko Willink talks about everyone else whos died under him in multiple occasions but hes practically never talked much about Chris Kyle, an he was the most famous. I believe Jocko knows he's not what most Americans think.
I think Jocko gives the others more attention then Chris because Chris already gets and has plenty. Hes basically a household name at this point. The other heros no ones heard of deserve to have there story told as well. Jockos first podcast with Leif Babin they talk about Chris a lot and answer fans questions about him.
If Chris was a bad guy Jocko wouldve fired him and had him arrested.
Some say he was a pathological liar and committed blatant war crimes like a sociopath.
@@treasurethetime2463 In one story, Kyle joins 3 snipers on a roof. The 3 have been there for hours and nothing is going on. Each has a corner of the roof. Immediately Kyle finds a target and shoots it. All the snipers run to his corner, excited that it's about to be on, no targets. Kyle runs to another corner, another shot, they run over there to join him, again no targets. They soon figure out Kyle is just shooting anyone that's male and walking around. The marines, that have to go gather the bodies, report that there is rarely any weapons on Kyle's kills.

@@l_W7guys who have made through buds have failed or been dropped from delta section. Also guys who failed buds went on to make it through delta selection. How can you quantify what is more difficult. I could say getting a phd in physics is more difficult than going through either program but that again depends on the individual.

I never let go of my dreams of being a military man. I still practice workout hard 5 days a week and keep up with military business and politics, with my broken heart I couldn’t serve nevertheless my brother I’m so proud of him but so saddened this was just one of my many dreams. R.i.p Chris. I read about you before I even seen a picture of you, not serving prison time but when I first started spiraling out of control catching miner county jail terms…. I don’t 7 and a haft in prison now but this was along time dream of mines. I’m so saddened hunts me every day… I think this was one of my many true callings and I study and train to do this day. I was just a young American boy that wanted too protect my love ones and country willing too give my life, to a chance that I missed 😢

Lots of comments about Chris Kyle & Marcus Luttrell being liars, embellishing their stories from deployments, etc. Unless you were there & in a position to be watching ISR feeds then you can’t know what really happened or didn’t happen. Those guys signed up & went & did the job, no sense in attacking them bc you don’t know what is true & what isn’t.

I’m a retired Marine that was not only in Ramadi but also the second battle of Falujah. These stories are BS! SEALS are true quiet professionals but this SPECIFIC unit was unhinged. They killed dozens of INNOCENT civilians just to get trigger time and the MARINES had to clean up their mess. We didn’t know these guys were in our battle area at first but the truth came out and they GOT MANY MARINES KILLED. Is that enough??

Not sure what to believe now. Alot of information out recently about Kyle and Jocko, his commander of TFB and the murdering of innocent civilians. I got nothing for Lutrell but contempt. It was painful to even see him or listen to him. Real difference between these men, profiting off of their war experiences or at least the stories they told and the men who fought in WWII, and kept their mouths shut for decades into their 50's to 80's, before even talking to anyone about their experiences.

One was with a former Delta guy and what made him believable, he doesn’t have his own blog or TH-cam channel and he isn’t writing a book which reduces any reason to lie. He said that he wants to get the word out because bad/corrupt leadership hurt the special ops community. But t may take awhile but I will get back to you.
