It boggles my mind how broken a first party Nintendo game that wasn’t even a launch title is
I wouldn't say it's "broken" as much as I'd say it has limitless potential for unintended consequences. This game also did hit me at a very specific time in childhood to the point where it all just makes perfect sense to me, even through it's flaws.

I only played a little as a kid, but as an adult, there were parts that are much harder than, say, Mario 64 or Galaxy.
The “Chucksters” part comes to mind….
8:35 the exploit is cool and all but what I find most fascinating is being able to walk around upclose in an area entirely meant for visual affect, you would think there is no collision at all and yet there kinda is, you aren't even meant to see it up close, it's like when you see one stage from a completely different stage but you're actually in that one stage, it's something I've always wanted to see but knew wasn't possible, this I know is as close as one could get to seeing a "Low-Poly Course" and furthermore, it rocks.
Yeah being able to get to the off limits low poly maps would be pretty neat. I know with camera hacks you can observe it at least, I have seen a video like that I think.
I, too, am a doctor, as many people dub me "Dr Pepper" for my borderline obsession of it and extensive collection of its merch
I can tell you're not kidding, only the real ones know there's no period after the Dr in Dr Pepper.

Another awesome video! I'm not a speedrunner, but I always wanted to try to do that fruit glitch in Seriena Beach, specifically on Episode 2 when you're not supposed to be there. I did it on Episode 3 just fine, but episode 2 wasn't budging. Using Dolphin and some practice codes, I learned that the area has no collision and is considered a sort of out of bounds, kinda like Pinna Park at 8:55 when you get stuck in midair.
