@dorktriogamer2865 he said it was a custom seed, so likely he did some plotting beforehand, which I don't see as against the rules. It is possible to get that seed.
Bedrock player here: boats have fall damage on BE, but instead horses don't. You could easily have jumped down into that ravine with the horse. The closest stronghold to world spawn is almost always under the first village you find, because on BE strongholds try to generate under villages. It's also possible to push horses into nether portals. And yeah, that horse was awfully slow. It really deserved it's name.

I swear it used to be possible to spawn in water in Java edition. I remember spawning in oceans and hoping to find an island before I starved. And there were certainly no sunken ruins at that time, so getting started would have been extremely painful. Edit: Although, did you even end up using the chest loot? You can still force the game to spawn you in water by using the right seed and turning generate structures off. For example, in 1.20.2 the seed 4213176796968840480 will spawn you on a ruined portal platform in the middle of the ocean. I have no idea how it happened but when trying to speed run a while back and going through seeds I did end up spawning in the ocean once out of like, many hundreds of worlds. so it is still possible on 1.16.4

Have you tried running the Fabulously Optimized modpack for the Java version? Gives an insane performance increase. It's one of the most downloaded packs for the game. I highly suggest it. Not saying that it'll work 100% for you, but it's something to at least try. I also suggest an older version (maybe 1.19.2), because older versions have more mods for better optimization. But there is the newest versions out as well, just not as optimized.
@@BigFry9591 yeah it is better than it used to but I much would prefer to run Java but my brother spent almost 1500 dollars on his pc and monitor and I think that's insane I have like a 200 dollar hp computer and it is ghetto but if I could try all that out I so would I played on a computer once at nemesis (a gaming place in my town) and it was difficult with the controls but i would get used to it. My thing about bedrock that I would never wanna get rid of is the bridging. I recently learned how to speed bridge really good so that I actually bridge while sprint jumping and it took a long time lol but yeah
Nah I just dont got a pc
This is the most anxiety-inducing challenge I've ever seen
There are a lot of times where you bumped into blocks, in the water at the village, thru the portal when you jumped
Bumped into blocks? He said standing on them my guy
Before you die at 6:00 your iron sword and pickaxe seem to have less durability then when you supposedly picked them back up at 6:14
new tools, the others burned when i died
11:33
The Ender Dragon is canonically female and named Jean.
She's the only mob in the game with a defined gender, as far as I remember.
I think...you touched the bedrock for a short fraction of a second at the very end
10:39 hahahaha such a convenient cut.
He probably just broke the blocks that were, well, blocking his height limit from allowing him to pass through
@@mr.swordtoast no, the cut where he just _"went to get some extra pearls"_ without showing us how he got back up again and got more pearls.
@@louisBrother1988pearls spawn in chests in strongholds...
@@Drag0nmaster Yea it's funny how he doesn't show that if that's the case then
He levels up so it was legit.
What are people gonna do next? Beating Minecraft without playing Minecraft?😂
maybe by coding an ai to beat it for them
Someone made a video of a hypothetical way to beat minecraft just by using naturally occuring mobs. It's like, infinitesimally small, like not in a billion universes small, but still possible!
If i remember correctly, my first ever world was in bedrock and spawned in water, so its nice to see that coming in handy
3:18 imagine living your best life in the village when some mute guy puts boats on the ground. Gets from one to another. Stays in your house for a night. Robs you and then leaves.
When you entered the End, you spawned inside the boats. But we can pretend you didn't touch the ground.
I'm pretty sure he started suffocating because he spawned on top of them
@@doughboywhineso... he touched the ground with his head
@@okieness9849not Stepping on Blocks though 😊
@@theworfer27 You're counting on people on the internet having reading comprehension, bud. You'll be sorely disappointed xd
Hey im a washed 1.16 Java speedrunner. at least in 1.16, not sure about the later versions, if your seed happens to have no land within i belisve its 200 by 200 area of 0 - 0 you will spawn in the water. quite rare but happened to me once or twice
Great video! You deserve more views and subs dude
That was very impressive, well done
That is some serious dedication
3:50 How did he get a perfect stack of steak 🤔
Fr tho 😂
That's not part of the run, it's a cutscene for an explanation.
@@pixelslv1234 I love how people are pointing out things not part of the challenge as breaking the rules when there's genuine things you could point out. But they're like, "You touched the bedrock when leaving the game" and the like
yo very nice man, came for the hitman stayed for the content
Reminding me of IBXtoycat's silly speedruns
How do we know he didnt touch the ground inside the water immediately when spawning? He looks insanely close to the bottom of the water and close to the ground at the beginning
How do you know anything in this video at all is real?
It would be nice to verify but it doesn’t really matter that we don’t know for sure. The steps shown in this video are possible
@@Nightcaat but we don't know if it's possible because the seed gives him a possible spawn on the ground in the water
@@mr.swordtoast you can't spawn on the ground in the water, as far as I know, you can only spawn at a certain co-ordinate level, and the reason he was closer to the ocean floor was because if you pay attention to the video, he had to jump to make sure he doesn't float to the floor as it loads, because I don't know if it's like this on Java, but when bedrock loads a game the game is still going on in the background, it doesn't pause, and I can verify this myself because there was this one time when i was playing on my PS4 and when I loaded in, all I saw was a death screen, saying I got killed by a zombie.
@@James_Randal we don't know if the predetermined coordinates spawn him on the ground already, and we don't know if enough time passed behind the scenes for him to accidentally touch the ground or not
Oh, one more addition to the crazy ways people have beaten Minecraft, BastiGHG recently best minecraft without:
- Breaking blocks
- Harming Mobs
- Chests
- Trading
- Inventory
- Dropping stuff
This guy is beyond insane
I think that villager also tried beating Minecraft without stepping on ground
Not only did he beat the game without touching the ground, he also killed the Ender Dragon on a horse, a task most people wouldn't even consider.
I'm fairly certain you can spawn under water in Java Edition too
I've beaten minecraft without stepping on any blocks before!
You just need to use creative mode or the no blocks mod!
loved this. Pls make more❤❤❤❤
This challenge is nightmare
wheres the full vod? this guy yada yadas thru a lot of stuff with jumpcuts
EXACTLY BRUH!!
Impressive. What's next? Beating Minecraft without touching keyboard/controller? Beating Minecraft without launching Minecraft? Beating Minecraft without turning on PC/Console/phone/whatever?
It's now possible to play games with just your brianwaves, so technically we could get that in the future loo!
>beats the entirety of minecraft without touching the ground directly
>doesn't know how to do the lava bucket portal trick
yeah that seems about right
Next video: beating Minecraft without playing minecraft
It's not too important, but you called the dragon "he" despite that fact that it lays an egg, and therefore must be female
It's the only mob to be considered actually female, and her name is jean
Sorry to be a kill joy but to me it looks like you stood on a block at 4:06-4:09 because you were swimming up to stay up but then you stopped for some reason.
man why people so dumb
BE just looks so cursed in the most unexpected ways. Like, it hits the uncanny valley of looking so similar jo JE, and then stuff like mob movement (horse, enedermen and ender dragon in this run in paricular) throws you off.
Good stuff man! I really appreciate all the thought and effort that went into this
