This was fascinating to watch, and I am impressed by their hard work! That said, I do worry about them breathing in heated plastic fumes, as well as plastic dust. A lot of micro plastics seem to be created from the waste in making these.
Thought the same breathing in those particles can't be good for sure

I am floored. I originally thought that they where making the thick bangle style bracelets and even then i thought that the design and work was beautiful but cutting them in 3pieces and how they look is gorgeous.

Looks cool but not wearing any mask while working cutting any kind of polymers is not good for the lungs these men will have long term respiratory problems because the fine dust from the plastic accumulated in their lungs and there’s no procedures to remove it it’s a very slow painful way to go, please wear a mask 😷.

I'm south african and these bangles sell for R10-R20 a pack which is under a us $. We usually buy a different set to each saree, punjabi suit and other indian clothes. Its sad to see how its made and how much labour goes into it, wish they had safer working conditions
so the box at the end with like 9 bracelet is under a dollar??
Man they need to charge more to better work conditions.
they need tables, masks to protect from particles, full body suit probably, a system to suck up particles and recycle them (its thermoplastic, they can reheat and reshape the bits that get shaved off)

This is sad in a way. Because in america, if one would try to do this for themselves, we would be reprimanded about safety precautions on all kinds of aspects. But it's cool to see the ingenuity of another country's process of a product.

cuando vi como forraban sus cajas de carton mi mente volo 50 años atrás ,¡¡¡ cuando yo tenia 10 años de edad asi forraba las cajas en donde vendíamos los dulces que producía la fabrica de mi tia ., el papel que usabamos se llamaba papel ferrocarril amarillo , quien sabe por que se llamaba asi lo ignoro , volviendo al video es sensacional la manera tan artesanal con la que trabajan me encantan estos videos.

У меня вопрос девчачий:куда столько браслетов делается каждый день??!!?? Кому они нужны? В ТАКОМ количестве? Особенно, если учесть, что носить такую конструкцию очень неудобно... Был опыт в детстве. Да и эстетического ценности особой в них нет. Вот если бы это была чеканка, да с самоцветами!!!...
