You could say that about pretty much any game. The higher the level of competition the less difference in mechanical skill matters. Especially in brs like Apex.

I competed in Halo but suck at other FPS's (especially with mouse and keyboard).
Honestly halo is more about strategy and positioning, aim is a low factor.

I would agree strategy and positioning is more important than aim, but aim is just slightly less important. Your positioning doesn't count for much if you can't hit your shots. At the end of the day it's an FPS game and if you have bad aim, you aren't going to get kills or win games.

Damn! That's some good stuff. I remember playing a 2v2 against you in 2009 when I was about 14 years old. A buddy of mine set us up for a quick match on this map and you kicked our asses LOL I will always remember that game, and how much fun my friends and I had on Halo 3. That's good stuff. this was a tournament for twitch streamers and the idea was that each set of matches would be played through various games. Halo 3 was among a bunch of other games that they played i believe
I get that he's a streamer too but why on earth would you invite one of the best Halo Players of All Time to an event like this he's or not at least have another pro halo player/streamer to balance it out he literally dropped 3x as many kills as anyone else
I assume he severely overestimated his own ability and severely underestimated how much better Snipedown would be.

snipedown sure does miss a lot of shots for being considered a "halo legend".
@exopaut 100% wrong. Snipedown was talked about for his sniping. That's it. When you see professional PC players do their thing aka when shroud was an active pro, they are light-years better. They do not miss. The crazy part is controllers have massive aim assist, and yet he's missing a lot. Blows my mind.
@@CodiakLBJfan Ypu couldn't be more wrong to the point where I doubt you've ever played H3. The game was developed for controller not M&K. Though marginal compared to how it is in infinite, the sniper has noticeable amounts of bloom so spamming follow up shots isn't a good idea. Snipe himself has said he never had the greatest aim but he does have phenomenal game sense in regards to positioning and where and when to take an aggressive pick or when to bait an overly aggressive send. That's why he's a Halo legend. M&K players traditionally don't do any better than controller players on Halo in fact, they're usually worse.

You really don't know what you are talking about. Everyone misses shots, to say Shroud "never misses" is nothing but bullshit.
@@TheKillerJok ok kid. go look at any MnK post game report, their accuracy is around 30-35%. then do the same for controller inputs, and their accuracy is around 70%. then come tell me that aim assist isn't OP and controller users don't have a crutch.
Shroud misses, but it is very very very rare.
I used to be bad at halo, but then I learned it’s a game of hiding behind teammates, picking up easy to use weapons like rockets, and leaning on aim assist. Now I’m a halo god
