The rod was out SK but nothing was biting for me….as usual 😂. Marc caught a couple nice bass and a beautiful walleye. It hasn’t been overly hot here since early May so I’d be happy to share with you my friend 😂. Appreciate you coming along my Brother! 👊🏻👍🏻

Great camping, great food and a fantastic back country beard. I love Ontario, mostly everywhere north of Barrie to be specific. We are blessed with an area of crown land larger than many countries. Ontario is truly ours to discover. Peace.

Looked a great way to travel, as long as it stopped dry and unexpected rain is the curse of the outdoors person. Looked a great camp mind, what a view and what a firepit. The fish was nice but the steak was better and was that bacon and cheese on too - wow! The night shots/drone footage was awesome and one thing for sure, you guys were not going hungry on that trip, breakfast looked dam tasty too, cheers Alan

Beautiful trip as always! I haven't gone canoeing in years! This looks like such a lovely time out on the water. Love the sound of the water with the paddles! Looks like the perfect spot to set up your tent too by the water. You need to pack extra clothes and puffy coats here in NB too! Haha! Weather is so unpredictable lol. Those burgers look amazing. Stormy times Doug but definitely part of the story on this one. Nice to get into camp, dry off, set up and watch life on the water for a brief spell. I gotta say the good looed top rate - the kind of food you'd pay a fortune for beyond the lake and forest there. With regards the forest it appeared to have recovered well from the fire. Good going. Really good questions here. 1. What double blade are you using? 2. How tall are you ? 3. How did you size the double blade so the shaft doesn't hit the gunnel? 4. Why not paddle single blade and learn the goon from marc or the much more effective j stroke from KC happy camper or pine martyn?
I’m using the Pelican Poseidon 98.5 inch double blade. I’m six feet tall. I bought the longest double blade I could find for a reasonable cost and thankfully I have no issues hitting the gunnel. I do paddle goon as well but but I don’t always show it in videos as much and I use the double blade much more. I enjoy the speed and strength I get from using the double blade especially in windy conditions. I’ve tried the J stroke and I just don’t like it. Bottom line is I do what works for me and gives me the most enjoyment out on the water. There are no rules as to how you ‘have’ to paddle and I don’t get caught up in that kind of stuff. I just want to have some fun, I mean I paddled and portaged an inflatable kayak at Woodland Caribou Provincial Park, like who does that kind of thing….well me 😊. Thanks for questions and happy paddling out there however you do it my friend. 👍🏻👊🏻

Pizza is good in all situations Tracy 😂. It definitely had its challenges but ultimately it was a fun little trip. We each have a canoe. Marc has 3 or 4 😂 actually and this one was his newest one. Sure appreciate you watching my Brother! 🇨🇦🤝🏻🇺🇸👊🏻👍🏻

Thanks so much John! No permit required on government ‘crown’ land. You can camp in the same spot for 21 days. If you get into the Provincial Park system then you have to purchase a permit for the number of nights you are camping. Appreciate you watching Brother! 👊🏻👍🏻
