    It's been a rainy summer at my camp this year but hardly any bugs. I've never cut so much grass in my life :) That's a hard video to produce , nicely done Doug 👍

    • @OpenAirOutdoors
      @OpenAirOutdoors หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Orrin, Doug sent me over! The pan is an antique carbon steel made by Cold Handle. I don't know of anybody making those types of pans anymore! They can be had at flea markets, EBay Etsie, those kinds of places. When you find one just buy it. Use it and care for it the same way you would cast iron.
      Hope this helps✌

      @OpenAirOutdoors woot! Thanks Marc and thanks Doug👍💪 I upgraded from cast to a carbon steel french pan about 4-5 years ago. I'm pleased to hear that's a CS pan. Glad to see you're finally catching some fish. Another great adventure! I think I remember that portage (and the funny little man in the other canoe?) You've got some nice outdoor gear and the hard-shell cases are a very good idea. I don't think you showed us what's inside the red cooler. Beverages?? You guys didn't take Beer out there, did ya? Lots of fish in those lakes it seems. I remember many lakes down east (Nova Scotia) had invasive species that overtook the natural trout populations, but it seems that the pike and bass are plentiful in Northern Ontario. I think the best catch of the trip was that one you snagged who was wearing a red t-shirt and a brown hat! Nice trip guys!!

    • @PinetreeLine
      @PinetreeLine  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Lol Craig the red cooler contained multiple refreshments for any occasion. No shortage of fish on this trip which ups my chances of catching a few even a guy in a brown hat 😂. Bass were once considered an invasive species here but thankfully things have balanced out and other fish have thrived naturally and due to stocking of native species in various lakes. Thanks for watching Brother!! 👍🏻👊🏻
