I'm setting here playing this song for my 86y/o dying dad. He suffered a stroke 1/8/22 & he isn't doing good. He is thoroughly enjoying this! Thank you so much for sharing! If you're reading this and you pray, please pray for him! Thanks!💜💔
I can still hear my grandmother singing this as she did her housework, or while cooking, etc. She didn’t have more than a 6th grade education, but she read her KJV Bible every day. She got to fly away a few years ago. I’m so thankful to Jesus that our family was blessed to have her here until she was 92 years old. I can’t wait to see her again. She helped raise me to know Jesus as my Savior and to trust in Him always, and I am now raising my children to know Jesus and have a personal relationship with Him as their Savior, trusting Him in all things. What a blessing to pass down to my children knowledge of the Bible, teach them the gospel of Christ, and watch them grow in their love of our Lord Jesus Christ. Having Jesus as our personal Savior is the greatest treasure there is.❤️
I am hispanic and I love the USA culture... this song make me feel good inside and make me thinking of Jesus Christ and my old Mother and makes my eyes watering of happiness. Such a great Christian culture. May God bless our big nation in the North. We all depends of USA so please keep the North Spirit so high like an eagle. God bless such a great country 🙏 😌
my brother in Christ, the Mexicans that have immigrated here are far more hardcore Christians that most other Americans. and Catholics wouldn't really listen to a hymn like this haha.
Unfortunately America turned it's back on God over the years and now we are reaping what we have sewn. Hopefully we will turn to Him again before it's too late.
The US has been made up of so many cultures, going back to colonial days, wave after wave of immigration. What we have in common is the American spirit.
My mother in law loves this song and sings it daily at the age of 110 and sings it in her church choir every Sunday ,she tells everyone that Jesus is still working on her wings so she can fly away when her time comes
One day I was so sad I turn radio on, my momma had passed away that night and felt like dying too and wanted to go with her, I Change the radio and heard blue grass for the time and smiled RIP MOMMA, LIL BROTHER, LIL SISTER, JOY JOY.WHEN SEE EACH OTHER SOME DAY..MY DADDY IS VERY SICK I LOVE YOU GUYS

While in quarantine and death around all of us I play this song and my fear dissipates. Reminds you that death will not be the victor in the end, God is in control.
My husband of 62 yrs “flew away” last Aug 2019. We used to sing this when we were driving. Don’t think I’ve ever told a soul about this.....miss him so much.
Torchy, my husband "flew away" in 2018..... But before he left, he gave me strict instructions......"DO NOT GRIEVE WHEN I DIE ...I CAN HARDLY WAIT TO MEET JESUS!" Him telling me that helps a lot! I KNOW where he is ......with his Savior.
There's a reason this has almost two million views - people are hungry for something simple and straightforward, honest and well done. Good job boys I went looking for more from you guys when I ran across this a year or two ago.
@Mr Lion, What does the Bible mean that we are not to judge others? Question: "What does the Bible mean that we are not to judge others?" Answer: This is an issue that has confused many people. On one hand, we are commanded by the Lord Jesus, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged” (Matthew 7:1). On the other hand, the Bible also exhorts us to beware of evildoers and false prophets and to avoid those who practice all kinds of evil. How are we to discern who these people are if we do not make some kind of judgment about them? Christians are often accused of "judging" whenever they speak out against a sinful activity. However, that is not the meaning of the Scripture verses that state, "Do not judge." There is a righteous kind of judgment we are supposed to exercise-with careful discernment (John 7:24). When Jesus told us not to judge (Matthew 7:1), He was telling us not to judge hypocritically. Matthew 7:2-5 declares, "For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye." What Jesus was condemning here was hypocritical, self-righteous judgments of others. In Matthew 7:2-5, Jesus warns against judging someone else for his sin when you yourself are sinning even worse. That is the kind of judging Jesus commanded us not to do. If a believer sees another believer sinning, it is his Christian duty to lovingly and respectfully confront the person with his sin (Matthew 18:15-17). This is not judging, but rather pointing out the truth in hope-and with the ultimate goal-of bringing repentance in the other person (James 5:20) and restoration to the fellowship. We are to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). We are to proclaim what God's Word says about sin. 2 Timothy 4:2 instructs us, "Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage - with great patience and careful instruction." We are to "judge" sin, but always with the goal of presenting the solution for sin and its consequences-the Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:6). If you don't judge evil you are condoning it! You need to do more judging young fellow.
Brought back sweet memories of family music time in the Appalachian mountains when I was a child. Oh how I miss those days, so simple and hard working people.
Special song to me. When my almost 96 year old Mom died her pastor heard from friends in 3 different churches/denominations in their small city. Everyone was calling to say "I don't know what hymns are chosen but you have to have "I'll Fly Away" as it was May's favourite". As she lay dying, unconscious, I would sing to her. When I sang this song her lips moved as in her mind she was singing along with me.
Beautiful absolutely beautiful. My Granny loved this song. She passed in 1993 but she would've loved this. THANK Y'ALL for sharing this. GOD bless y'all.🙏
Never forget this REAL GOSPEL MUSIC! Ty for keeping it Alive..these so called churches..with new age music that's on a screen..is not spiritual at all. This stirs one's soul as it should!
My father passed on September 2, 2017 after a long battle with Alzheimers. He's listening in heaven playing along to one of his favorite hymns! Love and miss you daddy!
Got to have Jesus of the Bible to go to heaven so you got to read it! Don’t read the Bible You are ignoring God! 40 writers wrote it, no contradictions proving God wrote the Bible and that man has no excuse on judgment day!
My late husband suffered from Alz, too, and loved the recording our granddaughter had made of this one. He played it over and over and let me know he was ready to fly.
Ya'll are so Awesome , my Brother that passed Dec, 2016 Loved Blue Grass , and this was one of his Favorites. Know his Listening from Heaven. My First Time hearing Ya'll and I Love it. May the Good Lord Bless Each and Every One of You Fela's and Your Family's as Well...
This gospel song is good news in times like this for we will soon fly away. "Just a few more coronavirus days and we'll fly away... When Jesus comes I'll fly away."
Congratulations you turned a song that isn't Christian into a Christian song. This song was actually sung by people of other religions. Its a song that worships self.
My sister and I sang this to our dad on July 4th 2019. Before that day he told us that he was going to fly. On 10 24pm on July 4th my sister told me our dad passed. He got to fly .
Sorry for your loss. Y’all were blessed to be with him at the time. I was in Pennsylvania when my daddy passed away in Arkansas. Three years hasn’t helped the pain go away.
Let the angels in heaven rejoice, every time I hear this old southern gospel classic. I remember seeing as a little boy my Holy Ghost filled Grandfather with his hands raised towards heaven praising God! I will see you and Grandma in heaven someday, I love and miss y’all very much! In Jesus Name!
This was one of my mother's favorite songs and I was so moved that my own granddaughter got some of her musician.friends to play it and sing at my mother's graveside service.
My momma sister, and myself sang this after visiting my other sisters grave. My mother died of a broken heart short after at 67. We felt uplifted as we sang.
My Grandma asked us to sing this at her burial. We printed out the words to this and "In the Garden," her two favorites. My husband took his acoustic guitar and we sang to her as we laid her to rest. She was so happy to be going Home!
Wow! These young men are smooth as silk and just like angels, but they know their bluegrass! This is blowing my mind, I haven’t heard that fiddle technique in decades! Well done! God bless you boys!
If it were not for my faith I just don't know... Bluegrass my first love of music, Gospel. Thank goodness for some strong Traditional Gospel Tunes cannot beat em❤️♥️❤️🙏🙏🏻🙏🏽🎸🎶

I’ve know this song since my family became believers years ago long before I came to USA Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one who believeth, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

So beautiful, You guys do a great, When I read the comments it makes me so happy to hear so many Praise Jesus in this corrupt world we are living in, Praise GOD👋👋💞👍
Some bright morning when this life is over I'll fly away To that home on God's celestial shore I'll fly away I'll fly away, oh glory I'll fly away in the morning When I die, Hallelujah by and by I'll fly away When the shadows of this life have gone I'll fly away Like a bird from these prison walls I'll fly I'll fly away I'll fly away, oh glory I'll fly away in the morning When I die, Hallelujah by and by I'll fly away Oh, how glad and happy when we meet I'll fly away No more cold iron shackles on my feet I'll fly away I'll fly away, oh glory I'll fly away in the morning When I die, Hallelujah by and by I'll fly away I'll fly away, oh glory I'll fly away in the morning When I die, Hallelujah by and by I'll fly away Just a few more weary days and then I'll fly away To a land where joys will never end I'll fly away I'll fly away, oh glory I'll fly away in the morning When I die, Hallelujah by and by I'll fly away I'll fly away
Make sure we’re plugged in and staying faithful to Christ in our lives and doing what he says to do. The great commission committing evangelism not sin! The opposite of that is the great omission! See Matthew 28 and Mark 16
Glad you’re going to church try to step out in your faith and try to witness to people & evangelize, get on fire for God! You’ll start storing up treasures in heaven for yourself by being a useful vessel on this earth to get others saved. or at least convict them so they can get saved!
Thank you gentlemen! My mom’s favorite. She asked to have it sung at her funeral and we did(this time last year). She would have loved how you played it. She used to say, “It isn’t a dirge, it is supposed to be joyful.” Thank you again.
This is real music. Standing out in the middle of nowhere having to harmonize and actually sing without any auto-tune or mechanical assistance. We need much more of this!
Billy strings aint saved, keep praying for him but this is not some kind of token thing that’s going to get him to heaven just cause he sang a religious song
Develop a good habit of reading the Bible and God can change you into more of a saint, than a sinner! We are told to avoid any sin in scripture ;three times Jesus said go and sin no more, be holy as God is holy, be perfect as God is perfect! The Bible and God will get you there as it did me!! I’m set free from my sins I’m happier than I’ve ever been, And when I share the gospel with people like we did in downtown LA this weekend, I get Gods power in my life fore being faithful to Him! 🙏 The difference between heaven and hell is a 15 second prayer to Jesus?, that doesn’t make any sense and that’s not in the Bible! why would he suffer so much on the cross for that, God’s not stupid!
I was wondering when the banjo would come into play!!! I love the song by its self, then add in the guitars, banjo, fiddle, mandolin and voices and it just gets more soul lifting!!! you men are absolutely WONDWRFUL!!!
Wow, God bless you for sharing your talents. God will have this kind of music in heaven! We will all be together singing and clapping and worshiping God together. Love it, love it, love it. My mother had this song played at her mother's funeral. It was my Grandmother's most favorite song! This was the version that was chosen. Thanks so much for posting this! God bless , walk in peace Michelle

Hello how are you doing today?
@@drakehonest9 Hello, I'm fine thank you for asking,May I say you are avery handsome man👍💞
@@mariemccarter6412 Nice meeting you here where are you originally from?
Some bright morning when this life is over
I'll fly away
To that home on God's celestial shore
I'll fly away
I'll fly away, oh glory
I'll fly away in the morning
When I die, Hallelujah by and by
I'll fly away
When the shadows of this life have gone
I'll fly away
Like a bird from these prison walls I'll fly
I'll fly away
I'll fly away, oh glory
I'll fly away in the morning
When I die, Hallelujah by and by
I'll fly away
Oh, how glad and happy when we meet
I'll fly away
No more cold iron shackles on my feet
I'll fly away
I'll fly away, oh glory
I'll fly away in the morning
When I die, Hallelujah by and by
I'll fly away
I'll fly away, oh glory
I'll fly away in the morning
When I die, Hallelujah by and by
I'll fly away
Just a few more weary days and then
I'll fly away
To a land where joys will never end
I'll fly away
I'll fly away, oh glory
I'll fly away in the morning
When I die, Hallelujah by and by
I'll fly away
I'll fly away
Thank you for the words. God bless you!! 👍😆♱
Make sure we’re plugged in and staying faithful to Christ in our lives and doing what he says to do. The great commission committing evangelism not sin! The opposite of that is the great omission! See Matthew 28 and Mark 16
This helps make going to church so much nicer.Don't get me wrong,I love going to church, music like this adds a really nice element to it.
Glad you’re going to church try to step out in your faith and try to witness to people & evangelize, get on fire for God! You’ll start storing up treasures in heaven for yourself by being a useful vessel on this earth to get others saved. or at least convict them so they can get saved!
@@jjphank Thanks😁
Thank you Gentlemen for using your talents for the Lord Jesus!!!!🙏
Thank you gentlemen! My mom’s favorite. She asked to have it sung at her funeral and we did(this time last year). She would have loved how you played it. She used to say, “It isn’t a dirge, it is supposed to be joyful.” Thank you again.
beutiful song. My great-great aunts favourite. She would sing it everyday. Her beautiful funeral song.
Those wonderful old hymns stir my soul.
Watching from Brazil. I can't get enough of this video. This is such great music 😍
Well you just can't beat Gospel Country in its purest form. Great song Great Sound
This is real music. Standing out in the middle of nowhere having to harmonize and actually sing without any auto-tune or mechanical assistance. We need much more of this!
I grew up hearing this song all the time...God loving people they were.Good country ...
Great singers praising the greatest KING.Bless you.
This was one of my mamaws favorite songs. Im sure she would love to have heard these guys sing it.
Oldie but goodie. Remember my grandmother Josie singing it while driving me to the fishing hole, while her son, my dad was fighting in Vietnam
Yay! Git fiddling music. My grandmother loved that song and my dad would play the mandolin and my uncle would sing! 🎻🎼🎤🤗👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎼❤️
My Dad played mandolin.Sweet memories growing up!
One of my favorite hymns. Well done gentlemen! 🎶
¡Great!
To see all these young men singing to our Lord Jesus. Congratulations guys.
Billy strings aint saved, keep praying for him but this is not some kind of token thing that’s going to get him to heaven just cause he sang a religious song
These young men are GREAT!!! THANK YOU!!
I'll fly away is my favourite because one day I m gonna fly away. Be good to all before we fly away.

Just make sure you have Jesus Christ’s blood atonement for your soul. You don’t wanna fly into hell!
The difference between heaven and hell is a 15 second prayer to Jesus?, that doesn’t make any sense and that’s not in the Bible!
why would he suffer so much on the cross for that, God’s not stupid!
there is nothing so beautiful and precious as listening to these old songs
Hello how are you doing?
You all are awesome!!! More music uploads please ♥️
I sung this in church when I was a kid.never gets old to me.ill sing this when I'm down.👣
wow!!! That was such an encouragement to see handsome clean cut young men honoring God with their gifts and talents. Great Job!!!!
They could be ugly and dirty with scratchy voices and out of tune instruments as long as they're singing to the Lord, it's beautiful
makes me cry everytime. was played at my brothers funeral and my mothers.
Hello how are you doing today?
I was wondering when the banjo would come into play!!! I love the song by its self, then add in the guitars, banjo, fiddle, mandolin and voices and it just gets more soul lifting!!! you men are absolutely WONDWRFUL!!!
My calling soon to come. God Bless Brothers, keep up the great work, Minister and Author David Lee Webb
Oh, I love this song! God be with us all!

So happy to see young people playing bluegrass. I hope they’re in some festivals.
Beautiful memories of people playing on the weekends in the park.
