Yes, a bittersweet, grimdark ending for a dire subject matter to base a Batman story around. A lot of these Legends of the Dark Knight stories, not all, are avenues for writers to present more mature tales of the Batman.
The two primary villains did receive punishment come full circle for their actions and motivations although neither of them seemed to quite face retribution for the multiple lives they each so callously decided to decree unnatural and premature, violent deaths for.
Although a stereotypically over-complicated method of execution/submission arranged by the doctor for Batman, the Dark Knight's solution was worthy of his mind and well-depicted in intermittent panels of action without words.
Also, the sub-equatorial country they were in was Santa Prisca, the same place of origin that Bane hails from. This is definitely one of the stand-out, 'legendary' LotDK storylines, among a roster of many (those are the ones that are each collected into their own TPBs). So, once again, I thank you for reviewing an entire LotDK story, your first and one of the most popular. Glad ya enjoyed it...though I have suggestions, I look forward to seeing which story you next choose to read and review. Cheers, Marinus; have a great day and next week!

I wasn't expecting that at all. What a series. I wish i knew sooner. Probably the best Batman series ever made???
No those lives are still lost and sadly forgotten. Damn!
Yes. I like the solution was not punching bad guys but using his Bat-Brain and Bat- Wits :p.
Really? I didn't know that ( or maybe i forgot ).And the title is called "Venom". That is not a coincidence!! Nice . I'm glad they did this. Man this series is so much fun!
Please give another sugggestion, Mike. I'm curious.
You have a great day, Mike and thanks for watching (ps i have not forgotten the other videos 😁)
